Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play currently on Broadway and the East End. Forbes claimed in 2019 that it had made a huge $146.5m on the former alone, and, when everything opens up again, it’s destined to be popular.
There’s a clamor for a movie to be made based on the play, and we’d all be up for seeing Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy’s adventures play out, especially if the play is anything to go by. It’d also be pretty amusing to see the trolley lady transform into a giant beast that pursues the pair and a final showdown in Godric’s Hollow, an iconic Potter setting, would make for entertaining viewing.

Radcliffe reportedly pocketed $1 million for his first turn as Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. The movie was an enormous success, raking in over $1 billion in ticket grosses worldwide. Free Birds is a digitally animated family film that has a very timely release, but it is also a second-tier CG animated film. Ender’s Game is a $110 million film based on a book aimed at young adults. It is yet another film trying to tap into the vacuum left behind by Harry Potter. I don’t think either of them will be big hits, but one of them has to be the target film. I think Free Birds will have better legs, but that Ender’s Game will have a better opening. As such, it is the target film for this week’s box office prediction contest. In order to win, one must simply predict the opening weekend box office number for Ender’s Game. Whoever comes the closest to predicting the film’s opening 3-day weekend box office , regardless if they go over or not, will win a copy of The Conjuring on Blu-ray Combo Pack.

After “Harry Potter” wrapped, the twins continued to act in films.
They both appeared in the TV movie “Danny and the Human Zoo” , and they are currently working together on the upcoming films “Last Night in Soho” and “Own Worst Enemy.”

- In the film, Dean is not imprisoned in the manor with Luna and Ollivander.
- Wormtail is Stunned by Dobby when he comes down to the cellars , instead of strangled by his own hand. He does not appear in Part 2, however, which has led to the belief that Voldemort killed him when he next arrives at Malfoy Manor.

After Dobby uses a hover charm in “Chamber of Secrets” to levitate and drop a dessert in the living room at the Dursley’s, Harry immediately receives a message reprimanding him for the use of underage magic in front of the whole family.
This scene was left out of the film, which makes it unclear how the Dursleys know that Harry isn’t allowed to use magic outside of school in the following movie.
