It would be a very long day. For the marathon to be worthy of a true Potterheads dedication, the rules would include minimal breaks and no-fast forwarding through your least favorite scenes.

Are extended DVD versions possible? No. The extended DVDs which includes deleted scenes into the theatrical versions adds too many minutes into the schedule and add the risk of running over 24 hours.
You can shave off a whopping extra 1 hour and 26 minutes!! How? Almost every movies end credits are 8 to 11 minutes long. So you could cut to the next movie early or use the credits as the time to stretch and take a breather. Use a stopwatch or alarm clock for breaks to make sure you dont go over.

Extras That Are Not Meant To Be Missed
After 20 years of the first Harry Potter movie, it is still the most loved and watched movie series, even after one has grown up. And the reason behind this madness is a gripping plot and a universe that takes you on a magical journey.
Therefore, it is very easy to lose track of time while binging to this magical movie, but many of the fans know that quite a number of scenes were trimmed from the movie and even extras were not shown in the theatrical release.
For instance, in the first part Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, the theatrical release had a run time of 2 hours and 26 minutes, while the extended version takes around 2 hours and 33 minutes.
So basically, we get an extra 7 minutes of the movie runtime, which also gives us seven additional scenes.
While, the second installment Harry Potter and the Chambers of Secrets had an additional 13 minutes of Footage, when compared to the theatrical release.
The extended versions of the first two movies were released with the Wizarding Collection. Though, the remaining parts had no extended versions but had many deleted scenes which were the topic of discussion among the Potter Heads.
Many fans had called out to release each of the movies with deleted scenes in the form of extended versions, but only a few of them were made available on the DVDs.
Most of the deleted scenes according to the Potter Heads, would have made each of the installments more binge-worthy, especially when it comes to the last installment.

Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stones
There is quite a small difference between the theatrical and the extended version of the first movie of the franchise. The theatrical version clocks in around 2 hours and 26 minutes while the extended version takes up around 2 hours and 33 minutes.
This provides us with almost 7 additional minutes of the movie series. The bonus scene would provide funny additions to the movie but are largely unimportant to the movies plot.
This time includes seven additional scenes. The first few come in the Dursleys home where we get a look at Dudleys school uniform and another scene which portrays aunt Petunia making breakfast before she finds Harrys Hogwarts letter. The only remaining scene which doesnt take place in Hogwarts is Harry and Hagrid riding the London subway.
The remaining scenes include a prolonged version of the first Potions class when Snape confronts Harry, the trio talking about their encounter with a troll while returning to their dorm rooms, Harry and Ron talking about the mirror of Erised, and an in-detail investigation into Nicholas Flamell.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a 2016 British two-part play written by Jack Thorne based on an original story by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Thorne.Previews of the play began at the Palace Theatre, London, on 7 June 2016, and it premiered on 30 July 2016. The play opened on Broadway on 21 April 2018 at the Lyric Theatre, with previews starting on 16 March 2018. Its cast is similar to that of the first year in the West End, with returning actors Anthony Boyle, Sam Clemmett, Noma Dumezweni, Poppy Miller, Jamie Parker, Alex Price, and Paul Thornley.
The story begins nineteen years after the events of the 2007 novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and follows Harry Potter, now Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, and his younger son, Albus Severus Potter, who is about to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In June 2021, the production team announced that the play would be re-staged as a single show for future performances on Broadway beginning in November 2021, as well the San Francisco and Toronto productions beginning in 2022.
