The School Mourning Dumbledore In ‘half
There are a number of book-faithful moments on this list. This is not one of them. There is no scene in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in which the school gathers in the courtyard to mark Dumbledores passing. However, this moment manages to illustrate both the seriousness of what this particular death means for everyone involved, as well as the devotion and love this school has for its headmaster. Its not hard to imagine this practice of sending sparks from your wand into the night sky being used as a show of devotion throughout the magical community. It honors the dead by displaying the light they brought into the world one last time, and it certainly bonds the students of Hogwarts together at this most difficult moment.

Peter Pettigrews Unveiling In ‘the Prisoner Of Azkaban’
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is rife with changes in its adaptation, but there is one scene that feels so right it doesnt matter if it’s one hundred percent loyal or not in its adaptation. When Sirius , Lupin , and Peter Pettigrew , the three remaining Marauders, come face to face for the first time since James and Lilys deaths, the scene sings with emotion and vengeance. Everything in this scene, from Sirius vehemence to avenge his best friends death, to Harrys plan to save Sirius from remaining an outlaw in favor of turning Pettigrew over to the dementors, is perfect for the moment. There may be a detail or two that strays from the book, but absolutely nothing that could change the gravity of this moment was forgotten.
Harry Seeing Hogwarts For The First Time In ‘the Sorcerer’s Stone’
Chris Columbus filmed an extremely loyal adaptation of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, hitting all the biggest beats of the series-starter as close to perfect as any fan could hope for. One of those such moments would be the first years trip across the lake, giving them their first glimpse at the castle, and a long lingering view as the small boats glide smoothly through the waters of the black lake toward their new home away from home, Hogwarts. From the Hogwarts Express to the doors of the Great Hall, the whole sequence works seamlessly. With Hagrid doing his part to usher the youngins along, acting as steward to the new first-year class.

Many influenced the young British actors from the Potter films influenced Radcliffe, maybe none more so than Gary Oldman, who played Sirius Black in many of the films, most notably the last, 2004s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Surprisingly, Radcliffe considers the film to be the time he learned he liked acting.
He claims that his parents constantly reminded him that he was not obligated to just keep doing this.
But as he grew in confidence, Radcliffe started to see his active creativity as his most valuable quality as an actor.

- The scene when Harry gets Dudleys second bedroom is omitted. He does get the room in the second film, with the latter film implying that the Dursleys supplied Harry with the room after the First Year.
- The scene where Harry and the Dursleys go to a random hotel to get away from the letters was omitted from the film, so instead they went straight to the hut.
- Because of this, Dudleys line of Daddys gone mad, hasnt he?! was moved to immediately after Uncle Vernon declares that they are going to move far enough away to ensure that the owls cant find them. In the book, Dudley says this line only after Vernon pauses driving long enough to do a glance around to see if any owls are following them on a bridge.

Harry Potter Movies Ranked
Just like with the Harry Potter books, opinions on which entries in the series are the best are incredibly varied and subjective. Indeed, ranking the Harry Potter movies by their IMDb user scores reveals a remarkable consistency in fan response, with all eight instalments clustered between 7.4 and 8.1 out of 10.
The two Fantastic Beasts movies are noticeably the least loved entries in the Wizarding World, a fact perhaps reflected by the second movie’s drop in box office. The most successful of the two, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, made more money than just one of the Potter movies , but seeing as it had 12 years of inflation on its side, its debatable whether it actually outperformed the earlier film.
