The movie was made available on Video on Demand and for streaming in 2009, but it is not widely available anymore. However, it seems that you could still rent the Sorcerers Stone Extended Version on Amazon, but the Chamber of Secrets is unavailable. On Amazon UK it is possible to buy and rent both extended versions.

Weekend Estimates: Ralph Slips Still Strong Hannah Tops Expectations Still Soft
Ralph Breaks the Internet will retain top spot on the weekend box office chart with an estimated $25.8 million for a two-week total of $119.3 million. Granted, this is lower than we predicted, but not so much lower than anyone at Disney should be panicking. Internationally, the film added an estimated $33.7 million in 27 markets, lifting its international total to $87.7 million after two weeks of release. Its only major market opening of the weekend was the U.K. where it reportedly earned $5.2 million. Weekend Prediction: Is Grindelwald Committing Crimes Against The Harry Potter Franchise
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the latest installment in the Harry Potter franchise, but sadly, its reviews are, by far, the worst in the franchise. It should still have no trouble earning first place and will very likely break even just on its international numbers, but this is still troubling for its future. The second biggest release of the week is Instant Family and its reviews are good, but not great. They are certainly fine for a family comedy. Widows is the best-reviewed new release, but its buzz is quiet enough that it will barely finish in the top five. Meanwhile, A Private War is expanding nationwide and that could help it earn a spot in the top ten, but I wouldnt bet on it. This weekend last year, Justice League opened with $93.84 million, while Wonder debuted in second place with $27.55 million. Add in The Stars $9.81 million opening and the three wide releases pulled in $130 million. Harry Potter Movies To Get Extended Edition Re
I’ve always wished that Warner Bros had filmed extended editions of the Harry Potter films, in the same vein as Peter Jackson filmed the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Of course, anyone who knows the many differences between the books and the released films knows that it really wouldn’t have been possible. To squeeze the most important plot points into the films, scenes, characters and information have been combined in a way that sometimes eliminate the wonderful side stories that we loved from the novels.
Over the course of the series, there have been many scenes, sequences and moments that were filmed but ended up on the cutting room floor. And it appears that Warner Bros is hoping to squeeze a bit more money out of the very popular wizard franchise by releasing extended editions of all the Harry Potter films.
RopeofSilicon was the first to notice a listing in the latest MPAA Rating Bulletin for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone which earned the same PG rating, for the same reasons as te theatrical release . Ropes contacted Warner Bros Home Video about the mention, and they confirmed that “Although we’ve not announced , all Harry Potter films are being planned to get special upcoming releases!”
Will the new extended editions be released exclusively on Blu-Ray? DVD? Will the get a theatrical re-release? We have no idea as no further details were mentioned.

Contrary to the last response, the shortest Harry Potter movie is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with a length of 2 hours and 10 minutes. However, both Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban come close with a length of 2 hours and 22 minutes.

Its a good week for Pick of the Week contenders, as there are seven such releases on this weeks list. Unfortunately, none of them really scream out as The Pick of the Week. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is by far the biggest, but it is only out on Video on Demand right now, while Hidden Figures is the best, but again, it is only on VOD this week. Though Harry Potter and the order of the Phoneix is the longest book in the series, it is actually one of the shortest films amongst the Harry Potter movies. With a run time of only 2 hours and 22 minutes, many fans were disappointed that so many details from this book, in particular, were left out of the movie.

Its Thanksgiving long weekend, which means many studios are closed and are not reporting official numbers. However, one of the studios that is reporting numbers is Disney and they are reporting record-breaking numbers. Ralph Breaks the Internet earned $18.5 million on Wednesday, which is significantly more than either Coco or Moana managed the previous two years. In fact, this is more than Frozen managed during its record-breaking wide expansion back in 2013. This films reviews are great and it earned an A minus from CinemaScore, so it should have good legs and could top Frozens $93.59 million five-day opening. In fact, some studios think it has a real chance of $100 million during its five-day opening. Contest: Game Of Chance
There are three wide releases, but only two of them have any chance of becoming more than a midlevel hit. Free Birds is a digitally animated family film that has a very timely release, but it is also a second-tier CG animated film. Ender’s Game is a $110 million film based on a book aimed at young adults. It is yet another film trying to tap into the vacuum left behind by Harry Potter. I don’t think either of them will be big hits, but one of them has to be the target film. I think Free Birds will have better legs, but that Ender’s Game will have a better opening. As such, it is the target film for this week’s box office prediction contest. In order to win, one must simply predict the opening weekend box office number for Ender’s Game. Whoever comes the closest to predicting the film’s opening 3-day weekend box office , regardless if they go over or not, will win a copy of The Conjuring on Blu-ray Combo Pack.

Although some complained that it felt “episodic,” or like a long “teaser” for the fifth film, others thought it did a fine job ushering in the final chapters of the series.

Weekend Estimates: Coco Gives Disney Another Thanksgiving Win
Coco will easily top the box office chart this Thanksgiving weekend, with Disney projecting a $71 million 5-day opening, including $49 million from Friday to Sunday. Thats the fourth-best Thanksgiving opening of all time, behind Frozen , Moana , and Toy Story 2 . In all, Disney lays claim to 10 of the top 11 opening weekends over this holiday period, although, to be fair, the Hunger Games and Harry Potter franchises both claim several spots in the higher reaches of the Thanksgiving weekend record chart, but were just playing in their second weekend, rather than opening.

The Rest Of The Harry Potter Series
The remaining movies from the series actually dont have extended versions, at least not officially. The extended versions of the first two movies were released with the Wizarding Collection, but there were no extended versions of the rest of the franchise.
However, there is a bunch of deleted scenes from the theatrical versions that were a topic of discussion among fans for many years. Most of these scenes according to fans would have made the movies much better, especially when it comes to the last movie.
There are many different scenes fans want to see released in the extended versions but there is a small number that gets mentioned any time the extended versions are mentioned.
The first one and perhaps the best-known one is Draco ultimately switching sides in the last move. Allegedly, the extended versions would feature Draco running across the Hogwarts yard once Harry reveals himself as alive and throws him his own wand.;
A lot of fans wanted to see this scene featured since it serves as a good closure to Dracos are over the course of the series as well as make the epilogue of the story make more sense.
Another fan-favorite among the deleted scenes is the one from the last movie where Harry says goodbye to his cousin and his parents before they move away from their home.
