Harry, Ron, and Hermione leave Hogwarts behind and set out to find and destroy Lord Voldemort’s secret to immortality the Horcruxes. The trio undergo a long journey with many obstacles in their path including Death Eaters, Snatchers, the mysterious Deathly Hallows, and Harry’s connection with the Dark Lord’s mind becoming ever stronger.
Deathly Hallows Part 2
Originally scheduled for a single theatrical release, on 13 March 2008, Warner Bros. announced that the film adaptation of Deathly Hallows would be split into two parts to do justice to the book and out of respect for its fans. Yates, director of the previous two films, was confirmed to return as director, and Kloves was confirmed as screenwriter. For the first time in the series, Rowling was credited as a producer alongside Heyman and Barron, however Yates noted that her participation in the filmmaking process did not change from the previous films. Pre-production began on 26 January 2009, while principal photography began on 19 February at Leavesden Studios, where the previous six instalments were filmed. Pinewood Studios became the second studio location for shooting the seventh film.

JK Rowling has announced there will be a total of five films in her new Harry Potter spin-off movie series.
While sitting on a panel about the new series, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, the author confirmed she was “pretty sure” there were going to be five, and later confirmed the number on Twitter.
Will Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Be Made Into A Film
- There are reportedly no plans to adapt Harry Potter and the Cursed Child into a movie at the time of writing.
While fans may be clamouring for Harry Potter to return to the big screen, according to the Express, there are reportedly no plans for a Cursed Child movie for the time being.
However, speaking to the publication, Harry Potter producer Lionel Wigram said: I think would make a great movie. Maybe at some point, shell be ready to do that. I think its got a wonderful, long, theatrical runit works brilliantly as a piece of theatre.
In the same article, the Express reports that Warner Bros stated that: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage play, with no plans for there to be a film.
This position seems to remain unchanged with Warner Bros focusing on the five-film Fantastic Beasts series, three instalments of which are yet to be released.

Warner Bros. teases a new Harry Potter project for HBO Max. Could they be adapting the sequel story play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?
WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar recently teased that new Harry Potter content was in the works for HBO Max, and it has people wondering if they plan on adapting the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Ever since the epilogue scene at the end of the Harry Potter movie franchise in 2011, fans have been asking for more movies set in the Wizarding World. Their wishes were granted, somewhat obliquely, by the release of prequels Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them,Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore as well as a sequel to the original book series in the form of a two-part stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The Fantastic Beasts series is surrounded by controversy and has somewhat underperformed overall compared to its predecessor. The second movie of the prequel series, The Crimes of Grindelwald, received brutal reviews after it was released in 2018. The studio has been trying to rectify the situation by recasting Johnny Depp’s role as Gellert Grindelwald with Mads Mikkelsen, who has been deemed a better fit for the character in many critics opinions it might entice viewers to give Fantastic Beasts another chance. In any case, a new Harry Potter project could give a breath of fresh air to the overall franchise and distract from Fantastic Beasts‘ failings.

Voldemort and his Death Eaters are increasing their terror upon the Wizarding and Muggle worlds. Needing him for an important reason, Headmaster Dumbledore persuades his old friend Horace Slughorn to return to his prior post at Hogwarts. During Slughorn’s Potions class, Harry takes possession of a strangely annotated school textbook, previously owned by the “Half-Blood Prince”.
In July 2007, it was announced that Yates would return as director. Kloves returned to write the screenplay after skipping out of the fifth film, with Heyman and David Barron back as producers. Watson considered not returning for the film, but eventually signed on after Warner Bros. moved the production schedule to accommodate her exam dates. Principal photography began on 24 September 2007, and concluded on 17 May 2008. Though Radcliffe, Gambon and Jim Broadbent started shooting in late September 2007, other cast members started much later: Watson did not begin until December 2007, Alan Rickman until January 2008, and Bonham Carter until February 2008.Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince had its world premiere on 6 July 2009 in Tokyo, Japan, and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States on 15 July.

Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Cast: Who’s Coming Back For Fantastic Beasts 3
Johnny Depp will not be reprising his role as Grindelwald after he was asked to resign from the role by Warner Bros. Depp had shot one scene as Grindelwald for the third movie, but we don’t know if this will end up in the movie or not.
The role of Grindelwald will now be played by Doctor Strange and Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen. It’s not yet clear how the recast will be handled in the movie, but given the world of Harry Potter, it could easily be put down to a potion, accident or magical disguise.
Mikkelsen revealed that he didn’t talk to Depp about the role and he took it on because his daughter is a fan of the Harry Potter franchise. Don’t go expecting a Depp impression from Mikkelsen though.
“I have been a fan of Johnny Depp since I saw him as a young man, and to try to bring his intensity and his way of doing it into my work is a no-go. I have to find my own, because his is unique, and I just have to let that be, and find a different path,” he said.
As for the rest of the characters, not everyone survived The Crimes of Grindelwald, so raise a glass to Leta Lestrange who was tragically killed by Grindelwald after helping Newt and the others escape.
This doesn’t completely rule out us seeing Leta again in the series, but it would have to take the form of a flashback.
Eddie Redmayne will be back as Newt Scamander and he’ll be joined by the likes of Katherine Waterston , Jude Law , Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol .
The Hogwarts Legacy Video Game Will Be Arriving This Year
2022 is also the year when the highly anticipated console game from Warner Bros. Games Portkey Games label, Hogwarts Legacy, is set to be released. Will There Be A Fantastic Beasts 4
Yes, there will be a Fantastic Beasts 4 following the third film and a fifth installment is also on the horizon.
Back in 2016, J.K. Rowling announced that the Fantastic Beasts branch of the Wizarding World franchise would comprise five movies in total.
Radio Times reported that producer David Heyman teased the fourth installments trip to Japan during a fan event, saying:
Well, we havent yet started writing the next film. If I have my way, well definitely be going to Japan.
Daniel Radcliffe Gives Next Harry Potter Movie Update
Daniel Radcliffe has shared his feelings about starring in an adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Although Daniel Radcliffe was reunited with hisco-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint during the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwartsspecial, it doesn’t sound like he’s too interested in returning to star in any further films set in the Wizarding World anytime soon.
Despite rumors swirling late last year about a possible adaptation of the play, Radcliffe told The New York Times that a Cursed Child movie was “not something I’m really interested in doing right now”.
“This isn’t the answer that anybody’s going to want, but I think I was so able to go back and enjoy it because it’s not a part of my day-to-day life anymore”, he said, continuing: “I’m getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter okay and I’m really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life.
“I’m never going to say never, but the Star Wars guys had like 30, 40 years before they went back. For me, it’s only been 10. It’s not something I’m really interested in doing right now”, he added.
The play is set 19 years after the final Harry Potter book and focuses on a grown-up Harry working at the Ministry of Magic and his son who has just begun classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

When Was Harry Potter Written
The first Harry Potter book was published in 1997, after several years of Ms Rowling pitching the book to different publishers.
The seven-book series then came to its conclusion ten years later, with a publication date of July 14th 2007.
Much of the writing was done in Edinburgh, with the final book reportedly being written from a suite in the Balmoral Hotel.
Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Continues To Spread Its Magic Around The World And Will Be Opening In New Places
This year is set to be another exciting one for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as the play prepares to open more productions around the world. In fact, previews of the show have just started up again in San Francisco at the Curran Theater!

Harry Potter Reunion Release Date
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts streams on HBO Max on January 1, 2022. While the press release claims that it will come out as “the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day,” that’s easier said than done, what with time zones and all. While you wait for the special, you can watch all of the Harry Potter movies in order on both HBO Max and Peacock.

Harry Potter Movies Ranked
Just like with the Harry Potter books, opinions on which entries in the series are the best are incredibly varied and subjective. Indeed, ranking the Harry Potter movies by their IMDb user scores reveals a remarkable consistency in fan response, with all eight instalments clustered between 7.4 and 8.1 out of 10.
The two Fantastic Beasts movies are noticeably the least loved entries in the Wizarding World, a fact perhaps reflected by the second movies drop in box office. The most successful of the two, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, made more money than just one of the Potter movies , but seeing as it had 12 years of inflation on its side, its debatable whether it actually outperformed the earlier film.

Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Plot: How Will Fantastic Beasts End
If we assume that we’re going to get three more movies of the series, here’s what was originally planned for the spin-off.
Rowling has said that the films will cover 19 years of Wizarding World history. That will take the last one up to 1945, the year that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald and claimed the Elder Wand from him.
That was also the year that a certain Tom Riddle graduated from Hogwarts.
All that considered, it seems unlikely that the fifth movie won’t feature the climactic battle between Dumbledore and his former friend. Credence could also turn out to play an important role in their struggle, especially if the theory that Dumbledore’s sister Ariana was another Obscurial turns out to be true.

That 19-year period also covers the birth of Voldemort and the actions surrounding the creation of his first Horcruxes.
Theseus was known to be corresponding with Percival Graves, the director of magical security for the US magical government MACUSA, which put Newt’s brother in contact with Grindelwald, who had assumed Graves’s identity.
That considered, his outlook might be quite different to Newt’s. Could that put them on opposite sides of Grindelwald’s coming war?
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set for release in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022 and in US cinemas on April 15, 2022.
