Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Things get off to a rollicking start with a barely successful heist of Gringotts. Riding a dragon to safety, Harry, Ron, and Hermione find their way back to Hogwarts, where Severus is the new headmaster. While searching for the final Horcruxes, the battle begins. It’s a full-on war as students, teachers, and death eaters face off at the beloved school.

Snape is murdered , as Voldemort believes that this will force the Elder Wand to align itself with him. As Snape dies, he asks Harry to look into his memories. It’s revealed that Snape was in love with Harry’s mother and has been undercover as a Death Eater. It is also revealed that Snape’s allegiance was always with Dumbledore and only killed the headmaster because Dumbledore instructed him to. Harry also learns that Voldemort’s failed attempt to kill him as a baby inadvertently turned Harry into one of the Horcruxes, meaning Harry must die to destroy Voldemort.

Voldemort kills Harry, sending him to a version of the afterlife where Dumbledore greets him. Harry’s sacrifice removes the imprint of Voldemort from him, and Harry returns to his body thanks to the Resurrection Stone hidden in the golden snitch Dumbledore left to Harry after his death. During the final showdown, Harry is able to kill Voldemort because the Elder Wand never aligned itself with the Dark Lord, preventing him from wielding it properly.

Harry Potter 4th Full Movie

This isn’t dead last because house-elf Dobby is the Jar Jar Binks of the “Potter”-verse. The underwhelming second installment unleashes a monstrous Basilisk on the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but other than bringing in family members of the antagonistic Draco Malfoy , it doesn’t do a whole lot for the overall saga.

Finding Harry Potter Was A Difficult Task

Due to their uncanny similarities to their character, casting Grint and Watson as Ron and Hermione was simple enough, according to Chris Columbus, the director of the first two films of the series. Finding the perfect actor to portray the titular character, however, was a whole other story.

The search for Harry Potter was insane, Columbus said. I think the biggest pressure at the beginning was who was going to be Harry Potter.

After months of searching for the perfect Harry, Columbus ended up discovering Radcliffe while watching BBCs David Copperfield at his hotel in London. He recalled that moment distinctly, explaining, Immediately, a lightbulb went off in my head and I said, This is Harry Potter. This is the kid weve been looking for for months.

Radcliffe said that it took some convincing to get his parents on board, because they worried taking on the major role would be a huge disruption to his life.” Eventually, the series producer David Heyman was able to convince Radcliffes father to bring his son in for an audition and the rest is history!

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & Part 2

Finally, the last book had been so big that it was actually split into two movies.

This is Harrys seventh and final year of what was supposed to be a full study at Hogwarts.

With so many enemies abound, this turns out not to be the case.

These two movies contain some of the biggest adventures in the series as they take place in various locations.

Our sensational wizard in both of these movies is seventeen going on eighteen.

Keep in mind, as with all the movies, that his birthday is shortly after the beginning of the movie.

So, in the case of the first movie, hes briefly sixteen years old, and in the second hes seventeen throughout the whole picture.

Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone Real

The events of Philosophers Stone take place between 1991 and 1992. Filming began on September 29, 2000, and continued until March 23, 2001. Its release was scheduled for November 4, 2001.

The main character, Harry Potter, was 11 years old during the events of the first book/movie. Since the ages of characters did not differ in the books and movies, it is safe to say how old a certain character was at what time.

However, the actors were sometimes a bit older or younger. So, for example, Daniel Radcliffe was 11 years old during the filming of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.

Many influenced the young British actors from the Potter films influenced Radcliffe, maybe none more so than Gary Oldman, who played Sirius Black in many of the films, most notably the last, 2004s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Surprisingly, Radcliffe considers the film to be the time he learned he liked acting.

He claims that his parents constantly reminded him that he was not obligated to just keep doing this.

But as he grew in confidence, Radcliffe started to see his active creativity as his most valuable quality as an actor.

Ron Weasley, Harrys best friend often seems less mature than Harry or Hermione. However, he was 11, going on 12 at the time. His actor was a bit older and was exactly a year older than his character. So, Rupert Grint was 12 at the time of filming.
