Harry emerges from the memories, now knowing that Snape was always working for Dumbledore against Voldemort and that he must die to destroy the Dark Lord forever. Resigned to his fate, Harry sneaks out of the castle under his Invisibility cloak and stops to tell Neville to kill Nagini, the other remaining Horcrux, at all costs. Then, before he sacrifices himself to Voldemort, he opens the Golden Snitch left to him by Dumbledore to reveal the Resurrection Stone. He uses it to summon the spirits of his parents, of Sirius, and of Remus Lupin, all of whom provide emotional support as Harry walks to his death. He enters Voldemort’s camp and shows himself. He tries to betray fear as he allows himself to be hit with the Killing Curse.

In The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the presented his own version of the origin of the Hallows. Hundreds of years ago, the three Peverell brothers were travelling at twilight, and reached a river too dangerous to cross. The three brothers, being trained in the magical arts, simply waved their wands and created a bridge across the river. They were then stopped by Death himself, who felt cheated that they had gotten across the river, as most travellers drowned in it.

The three legendary objects, together made up the Deathly Hallows.

Instead of being rewards for their cleverness, the Deathly Hallows were actually part of a cunning plan by Death to kill off the Peverells so he could take them for his own. However, Albus Dumbledore felt that it was more likely that the Hallows were actually created by the very talented and powerful brothers, and that the story of their origins as objects fashioned by Death sprang up around them as result of the powers they possessed.

During The Battle Of Hogwarts Hermione Repeats A Line To Ron About Forgetting He Can Do Magic And It’s A Perfect Callback To Sorcerer’s Stone

As they dash to the Whomping Willow in order to find Voldemort, Harry, Ron, and Hermione come up short when they realize the tree’s branches are flailing. Ron spots the knot on the trunk that freezes when you press it.

“I can see the place,” Ron says. “If we just had Crookshanks again “

“Crookshanks?” Hermione replies. “Are you a wizard, or what?”

This was a callback to the scene in “Sorcerer’s Stone” when Hermione needed fire in order to fight Devil’s Snare off Ron and Harry. She lamented that she doesn’t have any wood to start a fire.

“HAVE YOU GONE MAD?” Ron yelled at her. “ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?”

Griphook eventually agrees to help the trio, in return for Gryffindor’s sword. Harry reluctantly concedes that he will have to give up the sword but plans to hand over the sword after all the Horcruxes have been destroyed. He tells Griphook he can have the sword after they have broken into the Bank, but he is very careful not to mention when, as Goblins are notoriously known for going back on their word. The trio spends nearly a month planning in one of the Cottages cramped bedrooms, only seeing daylight or the other occupants of the house at mealtimes. Harry, as well as the other two, comes to strongly dislike Griphook because the Goblin seems to relish causing pain. During their stay, Remus Lupin visits them again. Chastened by Harry, he had returned to Tonks by Christmas, and he came to Shell Cottage to tell everyone that she has given birth to a son who does not have his werewolf tendencies but instead possesses Tonks’s Metamorphmagus abilities. Lupin also gives Harry the honour of being Teddy Lupin‘s godfather. After many rounds of wine, he departs, and as they are cleaning up, Bill corners Harry and tells him to be wary of Griphook.

Which Cast Members Are Returning For The Harry Potter Reunion

Harry And Ginny Had Three Children

A few years after The Deathly Hallows, Harry and Ginny got back together and married. As a couple, the pair had three children: James, Albus, and Lily. The epilogue shows them sending their kids off to Hogwarts, just like they went over a decade before. James and Lily were sorted into Gryffindor while Albus was sorted into Slytherin.

He Still Had Nightmares About Voldemort

Sending a child off to school can be a stressful time for any parent. While Harry loved his time at Hogwarts, he was also forced to grow up much faster than most kids because of his conflict with Lord Voldemort.

Coming face-to-face with the man who ended his parents had to be tough enough, but Voldemort was also able to read Harrys mind and even possess him.

Because of their history, its not surprising that Harry would have nightmares about Voldemort even after he defeated him. This is elaborated upon in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child when Harry begins to worry that Voldemort may be returning.

Voldemort possibly could have returned if Delphi had her way, but thankfully Voldemort only remains in Harrys dreams.

He Disguised Himself As Voldemort

In Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Voldemorts daughter Delphi tries to alter history to allow her father to reign once again.

Near the end of the play, Delphi takes Albus and Scorpius back to Godrics Hollow the night before Voldemort ends the lives of Lily and James Potter.

Albus and Scorpius think Delphi plans to end Harrys life before Voldemort fails to, but Harry and his friends believe that Delphi will try to persuade the Dark Lord from hurting Harry so that Voldemort can survive and spend time with her.

Because of this theory, Harry disguises himself as Voldemort and is able to distract and capture Delphi.

After being separated, Harry discovers Alastor’s magical eye has been taken by Umbridge. Thinking it a disgrace to Alastor’s memory to keep it stuck in Umbridge’s door, he steals the eye, so as to give it a proper burial and the respect it deserves. Once Harry reunites with Hermione, he witnesses the Muggle-Born Registration Commission, set up to convict Muggle-borns of “stealing” magic, at work. Enraged by what he sees, Harry stuns Umbridge and the Death Eater Corban Yaxley, who is now head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Lily’s Protection In Voldemort’s Blood Saved Harry

When Lord Voldemort rebuilt his physical body in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he used Harry’s blood. That ingredient would go on to aid in the Dark Lord’s downfall. At first it seemed that the love protection was canceled out when Voldemort used Harry’s blood, since Voldemort was able to touch Harry without experiencing pain – but that wasn’t the case. The protection, first created by Lily, actually lived on through Voldemort when he received a new body. As Dumbledore explained, “His body keeps her sacrifice alive, and while that enchantment survives, so do you.”

When Voldemort hit Harry with the Killing Curse in the forest, it destroyed the Horcrux that resided in Harry, but left Harry himself alive. Since Voldemort was still alive, Lily’s love spell was still in effect. Harry was sent to limbo, where he encountered Dumbledore. He was given a choice to die and finally rest, or return home, and he chose the latter. Nagini remained as Voldemort’s last Horcrux until Neville destroyed her with the Gryffindor’s Sword. With no Horcruxes remaining as Voldemort’s primary defenses, this left the Dark Lord vulnerable.

He Time Traveled With Ron And Hermione

Fans got accustomed to Harry, Ron, and Hermione going on adventures in both the Harry Potter books and movies.

While Harry Potter and the Cursed Child expanded on the next generation of children, Harry still went on another adventure with his friends.

Harry and Hermione time-traveled in The Prisoner of Azkaban, but unfortunately Ron was too injured to accompany them.

That being said, Ron did get to time-travel with his friends in The Cursed Child when they had to go back in time to rescue Albus and Scorpius from Voldemorts daughter Delphi.

Like always, the iconic trio saves the day and prevents evil from spreading throughout the world.
