Gilderoy Lockhart Kenneth Branagh
Its been a long time since Branaghs first and last Harry Potter appearance in 2002s Chamber of Secrets. Since then hes had plenty of acting and directing work in films, as well as starting his own theatre company, the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company, where he would be actor and manager for five shows between October 2015 November 2016. His plethora of acting roles include My Week With Marilyn, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, and Dunkirk; directing credits consisting of Cinderella, Murder on the Orient Express, and 2020s book-to-film adaptation of Artemis Fowl.

How To Watch Every Harry Potter Movie In Chronological Order
But youre a card-carrying Potterhead, right? So youre keen to watch these films properly, and in their chronological order. So heres how you can do that, and heres where to stream each film.
Netflix and Disney Plus subscribers might be disappointed that none of these films is featured on either service, but they can be found elsewhere.
The good news for Potter fans is that theres no need to spend ages searching for each film on different streaming services. All the Harry Potter films are available on Sky as a boxset now. You can be lining up Harry, Hermione and Rons best scenes quicker than you can say accio! Well, almost.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire
During Harry’s fourth year, Hogwarts plays host to a legendary event: the Triwizard Tournament. Three European schools participate in the tournament, with three ‘champions’ representing each school in the deadly tasks. The Goblet of Fire chooses Fleur Delacour, Viktor Krum, and Cedric Diggory to compete against each other. However, curiously, Harry’s name is also produced from the Goblet thus making him a fourth champion, which results in a terrifying encounter with a reborn Lord Voldemort.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Set In 1998
Where the two final parts of the;Potter;film series differ massively is pace. Part I moves at a steady, somber, deliberate pace, while the second part moves at breakneck speed, making the final product all the more impressive.
This movie kicks off where the last one ended in 1998, with the famous Battle of Hogwarts. There are definitely issues in the film to many fans, but;overall it is a satisfying, powerful, and emotional end to a cinematic journey millions of people took together.

This is the start of the Harry Potter story where you meet Harry for the first time as he heads to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, set in 1991 – but the film was released in 2001. You meet many of the main characters at Hogwarts, including the introduction of Lord Voldemort, Harry’s arch nemesis, with the action revolving around the Philosopher’s Stone. That stone belonged to Nicholas Flamel, who you don’t actually meet until Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Nymphadora Tonks Natalia Tena
Tonks may have been sidelined in the Harry Potter films more than we would have liked, but Natalia Tena did a wonderful job with what she had. Her talents did not go to waste, as she moved on to star in another hugely popular fantasy series, Game of Thrones. Tena also co-starred in Origins alongside a fellow Harry Potter cast member, Tom Felton. Unfortunately, Youtube did not pick up the show for a second season. Most recently she joined yet another massive franchise, having appeared in an episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
Lily Potter Geraldine Somerville
Geraldine Somerville had a spattering of appearances throughout each Harry Potter film, and continued after Potter with a variety of roles. She recently appeared in The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchies latest film, alongside many Hollywood A-listers. She also had roles in My Week With Marilyn and The Riot Club, as well as in more British-centric projects like 2012s Titanic, and 2017s Prime Suspect 1973.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix
Deemed the joint low point of the main;Harry Potter series by critics on Rotten Tomatoes,;The Order Of The Phoenix;is held in higher esteem by the site’s audiences. Squeezing the longest book into the second shortest film was always going to be an arduous task. But, ultimately it was achieved pretty well with a great end product.
The effects are as good as always, the performances are brilliant, it is action-packed and the antagonist in Dolores Umbridge is utterly deplorable. The film is loved by all manner of Potter fan, even if it does not hit with every critic, it still has a large majority on its side and so it should.

Weekend Predictions: Divergent Opinions On The New Releases
Another week, another pair of wide releases. That’s becoming a common thing to say. It is also a good thing to say, because too many movies tend to hurt all films involved and it is much better to have one big release and the counter-programing film. This week the big release is Divergent, which the studio is hoping will be the start of a new franchise. The box office tracking for the film looks good, even if the reviews do not. The counter-programing this week is Muppets Most Wanted, which is also opening with a saturation level theater count and it looks to do as well as The Muppets did. Last year there was also a strong one-two punch with The Croods topping Olympus has Fallen $43.64 million to $30.37 million. I’m not sure that Muppets Most Wanted will hold up its end of the bargain, but Divergent is poised for an opening of at least $50 million. It looks likes 2014 will again win over 2013. More…
Padma Patil Afshan Azad
Azad joined the Harry Potter cast in Goblet of Fire, just in time for the Yule Ball. She continued to appear in the subsequent Potter films, but has not pursued acting since. Soon after her Potter time, Azad was also going through personal troubles. Her brother was arrested for assaulting her and was sentenced to six months. On a lighter note, Azad got married in 2018, and fellow Potter actors Bonnie Wright and Katie Leung were in attendance.

Thursday Night Previews: Fantastic Doesnt Quite Live Up To Its Name With $875 Million
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them pulled in $8.75 million during its midnight shows last night. Thats good, but a little lower than expected and not even the best of the fall so far. It was beaten by Doctor Strange, which earned $9.4 million just two weeks ago. Worse still, Fantastic Beasts‘ reviews have fallen to 74% positive. Thats still good for a blockbuster release, but it is the lowest in the Harry Potter franchise and will likely hurt the films box office performance over the weekend. Bellatrix Lestrange Helena Bonham Carter
Bellatrix Lestrange is an exceptionally wild woman, but shes actually not that much more eccentric than a lot of the other characters Helena Bonham Carter has taken on. If youve ever seen a Tim Burton move, she was likely the woman at the helm, often alongside Johnny Depp, She was once married to the director, although the two split in 2014. She also starred in Oceans 8, and you can see her in The Crown season 4 as Princess Margaret, among many other projects.
Magical Abilities And Skills

- Cho’s talent at flying
- Flying: Cho flew excellently, so much so that she was chosen to play the position of Seeker on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. However, Cho’s flying skills suffered intensely due to her grief over Cedric’s death, to the extent where she was actually afraid she would lose her position on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.
- Charms: Cho appeared to be proficient in charm-work, given how in 1996 she learned how to successfully conjure a fully corporeal Patronus in her sixth year, which is a very advanced piece of magic and a sign of superior magical ability and talent. Her Patronus took the form of a swan.
- Defence Against the Dark Arts: Considering she trained with the D.A., Cho would have been capable in defensive and offensive magic. However, her track-record with defensive learning spells was uneven, as she struggled to learn the Disarming Charm effectively. She seemed to have improved her abilities based on her fighting in the Battle of Hogwarts against the Death Eaters in 1998, and surviving both the battle and the Second Wizarding War .

Raised by his grandmother, Neville is seen throughout the schoolyears as clumsy, nervous, and self-conscious thanks to constantly being compared to his parents who were also part of the original Order of the Phoenix much like Harrys parents.
In later years, he is shown gaining more confidence as he joins the others in their battle against the rise of Voldemort and becomes an important member of Dumbledores Army. Neville also took part in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, the Battle of Hogwarts, and killed Voldemorts most precious Horcrux Nagini.
Uncle Vernon Richard Griffiths
Richard Griffiths perfectly portrayed the narrow-minded, unsympathetic Vernon Dursley, right up until his last appearance in Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Before his passing in 2013, he also appeared in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, On Stranger Tides, Hugo, and in The Hollow Crown, the BBCs adaptation of Shakespeares historical tetralogy.

Umbridge was a sadistic woman who enjoyed punishing and torturing students. Almost every resident of Hogwarts at the time hated Umbridge, but she particularly hated Harry Potter, Fred and George. When George and Harry attacked Draco Malfoy after a Gryffindor Slytherin Quidditch match, Umbridge kicked them off the team, along with Fred.
