In line with the first films continuation, a Niffler and Bowtruckle emerge.
The Deathly Hallows symbol represents Gellert Grindelwald, and the significance of a locket with the letters NF, a piece of jewelry, and a skull is unknown.
The initials NF could stand for Nicolas Flamel. In the end, theres even what seems to be Grindelwalds skull-hookah.

The Pensieve Scenes Were Cut Down Quite A Bit
In the “Half-Blood Prince” book, Harry and Dumbledore spend a lot of time observing memories through the Pensieve. The film cuts out most of these scenes, including the one that reveals that the Defense Against the Dark Arts position at Hogwarts was cursed.
It turns out Tom Riddle wanted the position, and when Dumbledore aptly turned him down, he cursed the position. This explains why Hogwarts cycles through so many Defense Against the Dark Arts professors.
Another trip to the Pensieve in the books focuses on Voldemort’s family history. We learn that Merope Gaunt, Tom’s mother, used a love potion to make a Muggle to fall for her.
Because of this, their child grew up incapable of feeling actual love, which is an important detail left out of the movie that helps us understand how Tom was able to become the heartless villain Voldemort.
How Many Books Are In The Harry Potter Book Series
The Eighth Narrative is most likely the final story in the Harry Potter chronology, which means that Harry Potter 9 will not be released. J.K. Rowling, speaking at the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Sunday, stated that she does not anticipate to continue moving the tale forward by writing a Harry Potter Book 9.

These tales of heroism, suffering, and risky hobbies include two of the bravest and legendary characters from the Harry Potter series: Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin.
J.K. Rowling even takes you through the locked doors of Sybill Trelawneys life, and along the way, youll meet the reckless, magical-beast-loving Silvanus Kettleburn.
The Explanation Of Voldemort’s Army Of Inferi Was Also Left Out Of The Films
After learning that Voldemort has split his soul into seven Horcruxes, Harry and Dumbledore leave Hogwarts for a cave where Dumbledore thinks one of them may be hidden.
In the cave, we see zombie-like creatures in the water that try to pull Harry under. While watching “Half-Blood Prince,” it’s obvious that they’re probably there to protect the Horcrux, but that’s all we know.
The book, however, describes them in more detail, which makes them way scarier than the movie shows. They’re called Inferi, and they’re reanimated dead bodies produced by dark magic that Voldemort uses to create an army.
The concept is terrifying and probably a little difficult to explain in a family film.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part play, written by J.K. Rowling and two others Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Set nineteen years beyond Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the play delves into the lives of Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione and their children. Interestingly, it involves Harrys son Albus and Dracos son Scorpius using time-turners to go back in time and prevent certain past events from taking place so that the course of their future is altered. However, all they end up doing is creating alternative timelines, including one in which Voldemort survives and is now the ruler of the wizarding world. Now, that is definitely something, isnt it? But who is the Cursed Child we all may have our own interpretations.
Will There Ever Be An 8th Harry Potter Book
The Eighth Story is probably the last story in Harry Potters timeline, meaning that Harry Potter 9 wont be happening. Speaking at the Broadway opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Sunday, J.K. Rowling said she doesnt expect to continue moving the story forward by creating a Harry Potter Book 9.

Harry Is Supposed To Have A Dream That Hints At Voldemort’s Connection To Professor Quirrell In Sorcerer’s Stone
On Harry’s first night at Hogwarts, he has a dream that ends up being quite prophetic.
In the dream, he’s wearing Professor Quirrell’s turban, which gets stuck on his head and tells him to transfer into Slytherin House. He also watches Draco Malfoy morph into Professor Snape.
This scene was cut from the “Sorcerer’s Stone” movie, but without it, it’s hard to say why Harry begins to mistrust Quirrell, or where his initial suspicions about Snape and Malfoy’s bond come from.
Both of those things become pretty important in the first movie and beyond, so it was an interesting choice to leave the dream out.

The Tragic Story Of What Happened To Neville’s Parents Is Largely Skipped Over In The Films
Neville Longbottom plays an increasingly significant role throughout the book and film series, but his backstory, specifically what happened to his parents, was largely left out of the movies.
Alice and Frank Longbottom only appear in the films in a photograph that Sirius shares with Harry in “Order of the Phoenix.”
However, in the fifth book, Harry, Ron, and Hermione accidentally meet Neville’s parents in their hospital room at St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. After they were attacked, captured, and tortured during the First Wizarding War, they both experienced severe mental-health complications that kept them from reentering society or raising their son.
All of this serves as a key motivation for including Neville in the final fight against Voldemort and provides readers with a more in-depth look at the character, but the scene wasn’t included in the fifth movie.

Did Harry Potter Outsell The Bible
The Harry Potter franchise went down in world records as yesterdays top selling book ever outdueling most everything, aside from the Bible, all together. During its first 24 hours, the latest book of the seven-volume series which recounts the exploits of the orphaned teen wizard generated nearly 10 million copies.
Harry Potters Us Publication Made It A Bonafide Phenomenon
Harry Potter did fine when it first emerged in the UK 20 years ago, winning a Smarties Award and garnering respectable sales for its publisher, Bloomsbury. But it only started to approach phenomenon levels when Scholastic bought the US publication rights for an astonishing $105,000, about 10 times more than the average foreign rights sale at the time.
Arthur Levine, the Scholastic editor who acquired the books, had an excellent eye for British books that would work in the US, having already acquired the US rights to Redwall and His Dark Materials. But even he didnt know that Harry Potter would grow as big as it did. He just knew that he loved it and wanted to publish it. Scholastic President Barbara Marcus Barbara Marcus kept saying do you love it? and Arthur said yes, so we went for it, a Scholastic spokesperson recalled in 2002. I would have been willing to go further than that if I had to,” Levine said in 2007.
The $105,000 sale granted Harry Potter two things: a built-in publicity hook, and a big budget.
The hook came from the press: Newspapers featured articles about the little English book that had garnered such a huge sale. Reviewers wanted to know what kind of book would justify that kind of money. It was a curiosity, and as such, it was a story.
