Summary Of Harry Potter Series
The Harry Potter series features a boy with the same name as the main character. We see him go from being an abused orphan to saving the entire European wizarding community in a book that spans over seven years. The series of books by J.K. Rowlings writing becomes more complex with each volume and for many years it touches the hearts of the whole world.
In the first book, Harry finds out that his parents didnt die in a car accident, but died trying to protect him from the worlds worst wizard. This prompts him to join a magical school they attend and learn all about the hidden worlds of modern day Scotland. From inside the school, he befriends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley before embarking on a program to save the world. Between exams and making the transition to the new world, he defeats a teacher who is trying to bring back the dreaded Voldemort.
In the sixth book, the other servants of the dark lord are revealed and the secret of his long life is discovered. Just when Harry thinks he can overcome his destiny, his mentor is taken from him and he is forced to face a world without the support he knows.
Finally, the day of the final battle has arrived and the three will fight against the forces of darkness as loyalties change, friendships fall in battle, and the bonds that bind families together will be tested. Finally comes the war against evil and death itself, a war in which only one will survive!

The First Harry Potter Audiobook Voiced By Stephen Fry Is Now Free To Stream
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, which was released as Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone in the US, is now free to stream on Audible. Its part of a series of initiatives launched by JK Rowling and friends to keep everyone entertained while theyre cooped up at home. Better yet, its the version narrated by Stephen Fry, which has previously been difficult to legally access in the US.
As well as making the audiobook available, the series publishers are also temporarily relaxing licencing restrictions to allow teachers to read the books to their students in remote video lessons.
There are big debates about whether Stephen Frys or Jim Dales rendition of the audiobooks are better, but as a Brit who grew up listening to Frys version its always been the obvious choice for me. If youre an American whos never heard it then Id recommend you giving it a go even if, as TechCrunch notes, you might have a difficult job getting your hands on his recordings of the rest of the books.
As well as Frys English version, the free audiobook is also available in Spanish, French, Italian, German and Japanese.

Chapter 1: THE BOY WHO LIVED
The Harry potter series begins about 10 years before the Harry joins the the Wizarding World. The chapter focus on the Dursley Family who considered themselves very normal, but arent.
On a normal day to work, a series of strange things starts to begins, Vernon Dursley try not to notice such things. But he was about to be caught in the middle of such peculiar mess.
On the same night, an old man appear on Privet Drive, Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall, was disguised as a cat and watching over the Dursley family all day.
They were joined by a enormous giant, Hagrid, who carrying a baby to be delivered to the Dursley, who name was Harry Potter.
Chapter 2: THE VANISHING GLASS
Ten years has passed since previous event and Harry Potter had a miserable life since then. Except that always some strange things happens around him when he seems to be emotional, which he cant be able to explain how.
On his cousins birthday, the Dursley family decide to go to a Zoo, where Harry happen to have a conversation with a snake.
After being pushed aside hard by his cousin, angry Harry somehow makes the glass of the snake compartment vanish, making the snake lose out.
Chapter 3: Letter from No One
After the mishap at zoo, Harry has earned a very long punishment and summer vacation has started.
But the Letter kept on coming and it drive Uncle Vernon crazy. He went to remote location along with his Family and Harry where no one can reach them.

Harry Potter at Home gives people a number of resources to explore while at home. And the timing is obviously due to the coronavirus pandemic which has led governments around the world to enact stay-at-home orders in order to slow the spread of the illness.

Design And Special Effects
Judianna Makovsky served as the costume designer. She re-designed the Quidditch robes, having initially planned to use those shown on the cover of the American book, but deemed them “a mess.” Instead, she dressed the Quidditch players in “preppie sweaters, 19th-century fencing breeches and arm guards.” Production designer Stuart Craig built the sets at Leavesden Studios, including Hogwarts Great Hall, basing it on many English cathedrals. Although originally asked to use an existing old street to film the Diagon Alley scenes, Craig decided to build his own set, comprising Tudor, Georgian and Queen Anne architecture.
Columbus originally planned to use both animatronics and CGI animation to create the magical creatures, including Fluffy. Nick Dudman, who worked on Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, was given the task of creating the needed prosthetics, with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop providing creature effects. John Coppinger stated that the magical creatures that needed to be created had to be designed multiple times. The film features nearly 600 special effects shots, involving numerous companies. Industrial Light & Magic created Lord Voldemort‘s face on the back of Quirrell, Rhythm & Hues animated Norbert and Sony Pictures Imageworks produced the Quidditch scenes.

J.K. Rowling has built a whole Wizarding World around Harry Potter, with books, films, merchandise, and a website meaning you can’t get away from her creation. And now, via a post on Wizarding World, the author has launched Harry Potter at Home.
