The Deathly Hallows Audiobook Review:

The Good:

The final instalment in the Harry Potter series will leave fans satisfied, but also sad. It always made me sad whenever I re-read it or listened to it. Sad to think that this was the end. The great thing about the Harry Potter series is that theyre just as good the second time, third time and 67th time! The Deathly Hallows ties up all the loose ends quite neatly, but the audiobook itself is filled with so many twists and turns, its impossible to predict how the story will end. We revisit some key places and characters from all the previous books and a new light is thrown upon some of them. The trio are in more danger than ever. More than they have been in the past 6 books combined, because they are being openly hunted. The magical world turns on them as Voldemort rises to power. Each of the characters face life threatening situations and accomplish amazing feats. *SPOILER* The break in to Gringotts Wizarding Bank is one of my favourite chapters of the whole series. Fantastic writing, incredibly original and very surprising.

The Bad:

The Good:

Dobby is the embodiment of selflessness and good will. Its incredible that after all the abuse he received at the hands of wizards, that he was still willing to put his life in danger to rescue some. Dobby was a loyal and loveable character, he adored Harry, basically idolised him and would do anything for him. I loved Dobby so much!

The Bad:

Thank god the rest of the characters seemed to being doing ok.

Summary Of Harry Potter Series

The Harry Potter series features a boy with the same name as the main character. We see him go from being an abused orphan to saving the entire European wizarding community in a book that spans over seven years. The series of books by J.K. Rowlings writing becomes more complex with each volume and for many years it touches the hearts of the whole world.

In the first book, Harry finds out that his parents didnt die in a car accident, but died trying to protect him from the worlds worst wizard. This prompts him to join a magical school they attend and learn all about the hidden worlds of modern day Scotland. From inside the school, he befriends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley before embarking on a program to save the world. Between exams and making the transition to the new world, he defeats a teacher who is trying to bring back the dreaded Voldemort.

In the sixth book, the other servants of the dark lord are revealed and the secret of his long life is discovered. Just when Harry thinks he can overcome his destiny, his mentor is taken from him and he is forced to face a world without the support he knows.

Finally, the day of the final battle has arrived and the three will fight against the forces of darkness as loyalties change, friendships fall in battle, and the bonds that bind families together will be tested. Finally comes the war against evil and death itself, a war in which only one will survive!

Using Overdrive or Libby to get Harry Potter audiobooks free is one of my favorite methods on this list, so I definitely recommend it! These two apps allow you to download a variety of audiobooks and ebooks on your phone, computer, etc. at no cost. The only catchyou need to have a library card.

Both Overdrive and Libby work by syncing with your local library, so once youve entered your card number you can access all the online listings available at your library. This is awesome as you can download a Harry Potter audiobook online free instead of having to go to your local library!

However, like borrowing a physical copy of the audiobook from your local library, downloading a copy from Overdrive or Libby also requires you to wait your turn. Libraries only have so many electronic copies that they can lend out at one time, so you may have to join a holds list in order to get free audio Harry Potter books. The time it will take to get your copy simply depends on how many people from your library are also waiting for the audiobook youve selected, and whether they opt to return it early or not.

Tip: Join multiple libraries in your area to search all their catalogs. The Good:

The Goblet of Fire has forever been one of my #1 books in the series, basically in light of the fact that Rowling begins to investigate hazier, more mind boggling subjects than in her past books. Rowling foretells such countless things in this original that you will just get on in the wake of paying attention to the book and its replacements on various occasions. The turns in the plot are amazing and energizing, a few scenes amazed me with expectation and needing more. The story investigates issues of affection, envy, demise and dismissal. However, the sullen feelings just add to the story. The Goblet of Fire is apparently the main book of the series, it is obvious how much exertion Rowling put into the book. She emptied her heart into the subtleties, not a block was awkward in the wizarding scene. I wasnt exhausted briefly, this story will pull at your heart strings, make you snicker and make you flinch. It is splendid.
