The Three Broomsticks
In the Harry Potter series, the Three Broomsticks is a popular pub and inn frequented by Hogwarts students during their weekend trips to Hogsmeade, the only all-wizarding village in Britain. Universal Creative worked together with the production and art designers from the original films to nail down the nitty-gritty details needed to bring this restaurant to life. Youll notice the same light fixtures from the films, as well as staircases that lead up to the inns rooms above the dining area. You may even spot the shadows of house-elves hard at work!
Rounding out the restaurants authenticity is traditional British pub fare. The menu includes fish and chips, shepherds pie and beef pasties, as well as smoked chicken, turkey legs and spareribs platters. While it may not be the exact same experience as dining in the Great Hall inside Hogwarts, the Great Feast is perfect for hungry frog families to share. The platter includes garden salad, rotisserie chicken and spareribs, corn on the cob and roasted potatoes. It easily feeds our family of four, as Lilys portion is usually too much for her. But that just means extra food for Leap and Tad!

When you enter Kings Cross to board the Hogwarts Express, ask the Muggle staffers for directions to Platform 9 ¾ and youll get some entertaining answers. Theyll also have some interesting comments for you if they spy you carrying a wand, a purchased Pygmy Puff, or another magical item.
Finding the secret entrance to Platform 9 ¾ yourself is easy when the station is crowded, but harder when the lines are blissfully short. Watch for Hedwig on the way there, and keep your eye out for a large pane of glass on top of some luggage on your left. The glass looks toward a brick wall marked with signs for platforms 9 and 10. Stand by the glass and get your camera ready to video your fellow Muggles seemingly walking through the brick wall to get down to the platform. It takes guests on a journey to the amazing world of Harry Potter and features some of the most epic facets of the storied series. Guests will see Hogwarts off in the distance which is a major part of the parks appeal. It is the home of one of the greatest rides in the park, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is also home to the rides Flight of the Hippogriff and Dragon Challenge. These rides are a great way to get the blood flowing and are perfect for the thrill seekers in the family. Universal did not skimp on the details when they created this magical place. Subjects painted into wizarding portraits are frequently used to carry messages between locations where their portraits hang. Phineas Nigellus is used to send messages between Dumbledore’s office and his other portrait in Grimmauld Place. Admission to the lands and attractions in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is included in your Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure admission.
Tickets to Walt Disney World are not valid at Universal and guests need the park to park admission to ride the Hogwarts Express.
Entrance To Diagon Alley
Many visitors to Universal Studios Florida walk right by the entrance to Diagon Alley without even realizing its there. No signs point to the entrance of the Wizarding World, as only wizards are meant to know how to get in.
