A press release for the Harry Potter reunion mentions “more details to come” at a future date for the larger global debut for the special.

Warner Bros Discovery Era Future Merger With Discovery+ And Restructuring
On March 14, 2022, after shareholders approved its merger with a divestiture of WarnerMedia by AT& T to form , Discovery CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels stated that the company planned to pursue an eventual merger of HBO Max with its own streaming service . Wiedenfels stated that this process would most likely begin with a bundle of the two services as a short-term option, with a long-term goal to eventually merge the services into one platform. President and CEO of Discovery Streaming and International JB Perrette first identified this as a possibility in November 2021, stating that the company could pursue such a unified service in markets where Discovery+ has yet to launch, such as other parts of Asia-Pacific.
In July 2022, as a part of a post-merger money-saving and strategic move, it was reported that HBO Max had ceased new original series development in , , the Netherlands, and Turkey, as well as removed selected international series from the platform worldwide. It was reported that France and Spain had been largely excluded from these cuts, due to French regulations requiring streaming services to produce domestic content, and Spanish-language content appealing to a wide range of markets served by HBO Max. With the cancellation of later that month, it was reported that the service was also abandoning development of live-action children’s and family programming.

Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts Cast Release Date Trailer
Many people spend their holidays watching the so-called marathons of movies, and for fans of magical worlds, the series about Harry Potter is indispensable.
Twenty years after the first and ten years after the last Harry Potter film premiered in theaters, HBO Max has prepared an incredible surprise for all fans. This is a special episode that will bring together the old line-up of this magical series of films based on books by J. K. Rowling.
A long-announced trailer has finally been released in which members of the cast of the Harry Potter franchise are cordially invited to attend the twentieth-anniversary gathering.
It was also announced that in addition to the reunion, a special four-part event led by Helen Mirren entitled Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses will be shown, which will show how fans of the wizarding world present their Harry Potter knowledge on the test, and as a reward is the proclamation of the champion of the House Cup.
The best news of all is that the main cast Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint will be back.
And not only the fans, but also the cast, are happy, testifies Emma Watsons Instagram post, which wrote:

Casting The Roles Of Harry Ron And Hermione
In 2000, after a seven-month search, lead actor Daniel Radcliffe was discovered by producer David Heyman and writer Steve Kloves seated just behind them in a theatre. In Heyman’s own words, “There sitting behind me was this boy with these big blue eyes. It was Dan Radcliffe. I remember my first impressions: He was curious and funny and so energetic. There was real generosity too, and sweetness. But at the same time he was really voracious and with hunger for knowledge of whatever kind.”
Radcliffe had already established himself as an actor in the 1999 BBC television production of David Copperfield in which he played the title role’s childhood years. Heyman persuaded Radcliffe’s parents to allow him to audition for the part of Harry Potter, which involved Radcliffe being filmed. Rowling was enthusiastic after viewing Radcliffe’s filmed test, saying she didn’t think there was a better choice for the part of Harry Potter.
Also in 2000, the then unknown British actors Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were selected from thousands of auditioning children to play the roles of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, respectively. Their only previous acting experience was in school plays. Grint was eleven years old and Watson ten at the time they were cast.
