We feel as though we have grown up with these characters which made it all the more difficult when they were taken away from us. Most of the people at Hogwarts serve as a tremendous influence in our daily lives and despite the fact that these characters are fictional, it doesn’t make the impact they have on our lives any less real.

When these beloved characters in the Potter world were killed off, it messed a lot of us up, yet as Sirius points out in Prisoner of Azkaban, the ones that love us never really leave us and you can always find them if you look inside your heart.
The fact that Harry Potter does feature so many deaths is a bit surprising, but it does lend to its popularity. While it might be a grim way to look at things, the fact is that without the deaths there are no stakes, and the movies made sure that fans were emotionally invested by killing certain characters off.

Who Killed Harry Potter
Harry Potter is alive and well today. However, he was actually killed by Lord Voldemort with the killing curse at the Battle of Hogwarts.
But because Lord Voldemort had inadvertently made Harry one of his Horcruxes when he tried to kill baby Harry, the killing curse killed the portion of his soul that he left within Harry but did not necessarily kill Harry himself.
Harry instead was thrown into limbo where he could choose whether to live or die. He chose life.
Did Hedwig Sacrifice Herself
While attempting to escape from Hagrids motorcycle, Hedwig was killed while sitting in her cage by Harry in what appeared to be her usual way as she had done over and over again. Beloved Actor Verne Troyer Who Brought Harry Potter’s Griphook To Life Died In 2018
Harry Potter features wizards, witches, creatures, elves, mythical animals you name it and one such role within the series is Griphook, a goblin who works at Gringott’s Wizarding Bank, played by the legendary actor Verne Troyer. As noted by The Washington Post, Troyer was not only known for playing Griphook, as his performance in Austin Powers also had a major impact on the entertainment industry.
However, Troyer’s fame and success could not keep him away from harmful habits, and he developed an addiction to alcohol. “As you know, I’ve battled alcohol addiction in the past,” he wrote on social media in 2017 . “While it’s not always been an easy fight, I’m willing to continue my fight day by day.” On April 21, 2018, Troyer died after being admitted to the hospital for alcohol abuse. His family later shared that he had other “battles,” including suicidal tendencies and depression an announcement later revealed that he had died from multiple organ failure.

How Did Harry Potter Get His Scar
Harry Potter got his lightning scar when Lord Voldemort tried to kill him with the killing curse. But, since Harrys mother Lily selflessly and lovingly sacrificed her own life to protect Harry, she protected him with a shield of love. This causes the curse to rebound off Harry onto Lord Voldemort.
As a result, Lord Voldemort was almost completely destroyed by his own killing curse. He was only saved by the existence of his Horcruxes, which preserve pieces of his soul elsewhere.
In this act, he also unwittingly left a piece of his soul in Harry, making him a living Horcrux. This also explains why Harry picked up some of Lord Voldemorts traits, such as the ability to speak parseltongue, and could often sense what the Dark Lord was thinking or feeling.
Dobby Dies A Free Elf In Harrys Arms
Originally the Malfoys’ servant, the house-elf Dobby tries to keep Harry from returning to Hogwarts in his second year. His outlandish attempts to save Harrys life are almost as dangerous as the Death Eaters, but Harry understands Dobbys intentions and helps free him at the end of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. After a short period of unemployment, Dobby starts working at Hogwarts for a Galleon a week.
He remains Harrys close friend, provides him with the gillyweed he needs for the Triwizard Tournament task, and even helps him discover the Room of Requirement. Dobby comes to Harrys aid once again when he and his friends are taken captive by Voldemorts forces. As he and Harry apparate out of Malfoy manor, Dobby is lethally struck by a dagger thrown by Bellatrix Lestrange. He dies in Harrys arms and is buried in front of Shell Cottage, with the epitaph here lies Dobby, a free elf.

Alecto And Amycus Carrow
Alecto and Amycus Carrow are siblings who participate in the assault on Hogwarts at the end of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Amycus is described as being squat and lumpy, with a lopsided leer and a wheezy giggle Alecto is described as a “stocky little woman” and shares her brother’s squatness and laugh. It is said that after Voldemort’s first downfall, they believed that he was gone forever.
Ralph Ineson plays Amycus, and Suzie Toase appears as Alecto in the films, wherein they are reduced to non-speaking roles. In the second part of the final film, Snape deflects a spell from McGonagall which hits the Carrows, possibly to protect the students from their abuses and to show his allegiance to Dumbledore.

Richard Harris 1930 To 2002
Richard Harris was the first actor to play Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore.
In August 2002, after the filming of the second film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harris was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease.
He died aged 72 at University College Hospital, London and Michael Gambon was subsequently cast as Dumbledore.
Tributes To The Potters
Now this, we feel, represents somewhat of a missed opportunity. Harry and Hermiones trip to Godrics Hollow is emotional in the movie, sure. But they could have turned it into a real tear-jerker by adding one simple thing.
In J.K Rowlings book, Harry and Hermione sadly look over the remains of Godrics Hollow. And what makes it that much more tragic is that theres a tribute and mural to James and Lily Potter with messages of support from many members of the magical community. This leads Harry into shedding a few tears and, had it made the movie, the same could be said for audience members.

In this book, Harry is in his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The mysterious attacks on students start to happen.
Then Harry hears the disembodied voices which lead him down into the Chamber of Secrets where he battles the heir of Slytherin Slytherins Basilisk.
Slytherins Basilisk is a giant serpent which was placed in the Chamber of Secrets by its founder Salazar Slytherin. Basilisk skin is armored like a skin of a dragon, deflecting spells cast upon it and making it very difficult to kill. During the battle between Harry Potter and the Basilisk, Harrys ally was able to blind the Basilisk temporarily. At this moment Harry stabbed Basilisk in the roof of the mouth with Godric Gryffindors Sword.

Richard Griffiths Who Played Harry Potters Uncle Died In 2013
Uncle Vernon may be one of the most despised characters within the Harry Potter series, but the role was brought to life by the beloved actor Richard Griffiths. Griffiths sadly died in 2013 after suffering complications from heart surgery and was remembered by many as a wonderful man with talent beyond measure. As noted by Entertainment Weekly, Griffiths had a wide-ranging career, but it was Uncle Vernon that he was most known for.
Despite his characters turbulent relationship with Harry Potter, Griffiths and actor Daniel Radcliffe who is not on social media worked together on a number of occasions. The two, of course, shared the screen during the Harry Potter films, but also made their way to the stage together in a 2008 production of Equus in London. Radcliffe said after Griffiths death that he was proud to have known him. In August 2000, before official production had even begun on Potter, we filmed a shot outside the Dursleys, which was my first ever shot as Harry. I was nervous and he made me feel at ease, Radcliffe said. Any room he walked into was made twice as funny and twice as clever just by his presence.

Did Anyone Ever Possess All Three Hallows
In the Harry Potter universe was there anyone who ever possessed all three Hallows at once?
This is barring the creator / creators .
I know that Dumbledore was in possession of the Elder Wand, and also the Invisibility cloak and then later the Elder Wand and the Stone but never all three at the same time.
Is this the closest anyone has gotten? or Has anyone ever been in possession of all three Hallows?

So, yes, Dumbledore. I see that you noted this in your question, but as far as I know, there isnt any other character who possessed the three Hallows either all together or separately.

Who Dies Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 2
During the chase scene, a stray Avada Kedavra curse from the Death Eater ended up killing Hedwig. Avada Kedavra is cursed to face Mad-Eye Moody after he is killed by Voldemort as part of the Avada Kedavra curse. Sadly, Rufus was killed offscreen by Voldemort in his version of Avada Kedavra. As a result, he tortured Harry in vain for information regarding his whereabouts.

Did Bellatrix Kill Hermione
Bellatrix didnt kill Hermione but a real question should be WHY she didnt do that. It is well known Bellatrix tortured many Muggle-born and killed them as well, for her own amusement. At Malfoy Manor, Bellatrix had a great opportunity to kill Hermione who was literally saved by Godric Gryffindors sword.
How Does The Last Harry Potter Book End
After battling Voldemort over the Elder Wand for their final battle, Harry succeeds. Now they are back in the office of Batulion, with Dumbledore telling the three of them not to take it away. Thanks to Harry, peace is restored. The ending of the epilogue reveals that Harry doesnt appear to have suffered any damage from his scar since almost 19 years ago.

The couple, who were among some of the most beloved Harry Potter characters, both died during the Battle of Hogwarts. Lupin was killed by a Death Eater named Antonin Dolohov, who defeated Lupin in a duel, while Tonks was murdered by her own aunt and Voldemorts right hand, Bellatrix Lestrange.
