Voldemorts wand was 13 and a half inches long, made out of yew and had a phoenix feather core. It was originally purchased from Ollivanders Wand Shop by Tom Riddle, who later changed his name to Lord Voldemort.

The core of his wand came from Dumbledores phoenix, Fawkes. Fawkes also gave one other feather for a wand. Because the wands shared a core they were brothers. The brother to Voldemorts wand was later sold to Harry Potter.

As Dumbledore stated in Tales of Beedle the Bard, Those who are knowledgeable about wandlore will agree that wands do indeed absorb the expertise of those who use them. With the volume of dark deeds attributed to the Elder Wand, that is a terrifying thought.

He Was Unable To Produce A Patronus

Though anyone can find out what their Patronus is on Pottermore, it is not as simple in the Wizarding World. Some wizards and witches are actually unable to produce a Patronus. While we know that Harrys Patronus is a stag, many fans dont know what Dracos is. However, it has since been revealed that Draco is unable to conjure one.

This is apparently a common trait among Death Eaters, as many fans believe that they dont have enough light and goodness to summon one.

While it has been established that Draco is capable of feeling love, this may not enough to produce the special charm. J. K. Rowling has also mentioned that Death Eaters are unable to produce a Patronus because Voldemort controls Dementors anyway.

In Deathly Hallows, when Harry goes into the forest to fight Voldemort to sacrifice himself, he still has a part of Voldemorts soul within him without even knowing. But the protection from his mother is still there.
