Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 – Walkthrough Part 1 (The Wedding)

The actress who played Dumbledores right-hand man has slowed down her Hollywood career after Harry Potter. Still, shes had some big roles: She co-starred in the Downton Abbey TV series as the hilarious Violet Crawley, and will appear in the upcoming movie. She also starred in the two The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel films as well as 2015s The Lady in the Van.

Argus Filch David Bradley

David Bradley is another veteran actor who has the honor of having been in all but one Harry Potter film, the first Deathly Hallows. Hes been in many big name projects including The Strain, Doctor Who, Broadchurch, and playing one of the most hated characters in Game of Thrones. Most recently he played Ricky Gervais dad in After Life on Netflix, and hes set to voice Geppetto in Guillermo Del Toros Pinocchio.

Harry Potter: 20 Wild Things The Weasleys Did After Deathly Hallows

Of course, the adventures don’t end with the Weasleys once the war ends. They’re too exciting for that.

By far, the most tight-knit, happy family in the Harry Potter universe is the Weasley clan. Fans are meant to bond with the whole brood, falling in love with how happy and supporting they are. It’s clear the characters love them, too, considering how many heroes marry into the family of wholesome red-heads.

At the end of Deathly Hallows, almost all of Weasleys are paired off and living their happily ever after. Considering that they started off as a large family living in the Burrow, the journey they took the second they bonded with Harry Potter showed how brave they truly were. They experienced all of the joys, terror, and heartbreak that came with adopting him into their ranks.

Despite being frowned upon as the poor by other pure-bloods, they are the ones who succeeded and rose to power after Voldemort was ended. They even officially adopted Harry, the Boy Who Lived , as a family member when he married Ginny.

Afterward the war, they all enjoy a life of peace and happiness — or at least for the most part. Of course, the adventures don’t end with the Weasleys once the war ends. They’re far too exciting for that.

With that said, here are the 20 Wild Things The Weasleys Did After Deathly Hallows.

Uncle Vernon Richard Griffiths

Richard Griffiths perfectly portrayed the narrow-minded, unsympathetic Vernon Dursley, right up until his last appearance in Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Before his passing in 2013, he also appeared in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, On Stranger Tides, Hugo, and in The Hollow Crown, the BBCs adaptation of Shakespeares historical tetralogy.

Teddy Lupin Started Dating Victoire Weasley

The Harry Potter series is very fond of intermingling the families of fan-favorite characters. For example, Harry married into the Weasleys and Scorpius, Draco’s son, had a crush on Ron and Hermione’s daughter Rose. Therefore, it’s no surprise that the orphan son of Lupin and Tonks started seeing Victoire Weasley, Bill and Fleur’s eldest daughter.

When Teddy lost his parents during the Battle of Hogwarts, his grandmother, Andromeda, and his godfather, Harry, worked together to give the boy as much love as possible. This probably meant a lot of interaction with the endlessly large Weasley brood. There, he met Victoire and fell in love. Though it’s a little cheesy for Teddy to fall for a Weasley, it’s nice to add him to the Weasley family. He deserves a large and loving family.

When Fred And George Discussed Weddings

While this is more bittersweet than adorable, we still wanted to include it. We thought it was cute that Fred was thinking about what he would want for his future wedding, and we also enjoyed George sticking up for their mum. Knowing Freds fate, this interaction felt incredibly poignant and broke our hearts a little bit. But were very glad that the Weasley twins made the most of this final family event that they attended together.

When I get married, said Fred, tugging at the collar of his own robes, I wont be bothering with any of this nonsense. You can all wear what you like, and Ill put a full Body-Bind Curse on Mum until its all over.

She wasnt too bad this morning, considering, said George. Cried a bit about Percy not being here, but who wants him? Oh blimey, brace yourselves here they come, look.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter: Ron & Hermione’s Relationship Timeline Movie By Movie

Ron and Hermione are one of the central couples of Harry Potter, but their budding relationship definitely had its ups and downs.

Ron and Hermione are a controversial couple in the Harry Potter franchise, with many fans furious that the two end up married with children in the final scene. Even J K Rowling has said that she regrets the pairing, and plenty of fans think Hermione should have ended up with Harry – or perhaps met someone as an adult! Others, though, still feel like this was a perfect pair, and that the two brought out the best in each other.

Whether you love them or hate them, though, there’s no denying that this relationship was written into the books from the very start – even if it took the entire series to truly come to fruition. From the first time they met to that flash-forward on the platform, these are the moments that defined their relationship and how it grew.

Is It Any Good

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 – The Ministry has fallen (HD)

The movie alternates between being a frenetic, nail-biting thriller and a slow-moving adolescent relationship drama set against a beautifully shot, expansive backdrop. Director David Yates, back for his third Potter film, speeds through the action sequences early in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 — like the fantastic Seven Potters scene, in which six of Harry’s friends masquerade as him so that they can help move him to safety. But the second act, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are camping, hiding, and waiting for inspiration can feel sluggish. The series’ most fervent fans may feel disappointed that some scenes and characters were barely in the movie it would have been great to see more of Remus, the Weasleys , Neville , Krum, Dean, and more. And an entire review could be dedicated to all of the important details in the novel that didn’t make the cut.

A household name before and after Harry Potter, Timothy Spall has been in countless films and television shows over the course of his career. Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1: The Wedding ...

Bellatrix Lestrange is an exceptionally wild woman, but shes actually not that much more eccentric than a lot of the other characters Helena Bonham Carter has taken on. If youve ever seen a Tim Burton move, she was likely the woman at the helm, often alongside Johnny Depp, She was once married to the director, although the two split in 2014. She also starred in Oceans 8, and you can see her in The Crown season 4 as Princess Margaret, among many other projects.

Nymphadora Tonks Natalia Tena

Tonks may have been sidelined in the Harry Potter films more than we would have liked, but Natalia Tena did a wonderful job with what she had. Her talents did not go to waste, as she moved on to star in another hugely popular fantasy series, Game of Thrones. Tena also co-starred in Origins alongside a fellow Harry Potter cast member, Tom Felton. Unfortunately, Youtube did not pick up the show for a second season. Most recently she joined yet another massive franchise, having appeared in an episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+.

When Fleur Made Her Entrance

We felt a tad emotional when Fleur made her way down the aisle to meet Bill. Their wedding was a lovely oasis in the mess that had been Voldemorts return, and to see two people so happy and so in love was a welcome relief. We thought it was very fitting that Fleurs beauty seemed to enhance everyone elses in that moment like the way their wedding was a flash of light in the dark.

A great collective sigh issued from the assembled witches and wizards as Monsieur Delacour and Fleur came walking up the aisle, Fleur gliding, Monsieur Delacour bouncing and beaming. Fleur was wearing a very simple white dress and seemed to be emitting a strong, silvery glow. While her radiance usually dimmed everyone else by comparison, today it beautified every- body it fell upon. Ginny and Gabrielle, both wearing golden dresses, looked even prettier than usual, and once Fleur had reached him, Bill did not look as though he had ever met Fenrir Greyback.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

No doubt youve seen a movie with Bill Nighy in it. Its a shame he only makes one appearance in the Harry Potter films, in Deathly Hallows: Part 1, but there are plenty of other great roles to see him in. Percy Weasley Chris Rankin

After playing the pompously-reformed Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films, Chris Rankin largely put acting aside. Instead he took on work behind the camera, working as a production coordinator for Atlantis, Downton Abbey, and A Discovery of Witches. He did, however, make an appearance as Mycroft in the Hillywood Shows parody of Sherlock. If youd like a chance to meet Rankin, youre in luck! Like his fellow Weasley brothers, Rankin can also be found at many fan conventions throughout the year.

Talk To Your Kids About

  • Families can talk about whether Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is an appropriate movie for younger kids, even if they’ve seen or read the books. Discuss whether your child is truly ready for this movie, which is very dark and disturbing at times.

  • Why does Harry need help on his journey? What do Hermione and Ron offer him that no one else can? Can you think of other movie/literary heroes who require a lot of help on their life-or-death journeys?

  • How does Ron’s departure affect Harry and Hermione? How did the locket horcrux torment Ron, and what did it confirm about his self-esteem? Did he redeem himself by his return?

  • If you’ve read the book, what parts of the novel were left out? Which were faithfully adapted? How did you feel about the characters who died in the movie?

  • How do the characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 demonstrate teamwork, perseverance, and courage? Why are those important character strengths?

Why Did Harry Not Use Polyjuice Potion At The Wedding Of Bill And Fleur

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 (BluRay ...

In the movie Deathly Hallows Part 1, Harry Potter did not disguise himself using polyjuice potion at the wedding of Bill and Fleur. But in the book he was disguised as a cousin of the Weasleys, Barny Weasley, because there were threats.

Shouldn’t he have disguised himself, as Death Eaters might be around looking for him? Why did they not take that matter seriously in the movie?

  • 7And the wedding was heavily protected. Plus they did this way too many times in the book. The films chose to only disguise them in Gringotts and in the Ministry, and not to do it in Bill’s wedding or Godric’s Hollow, because we need to see the characters to actually care. )

IMO, it’s simply due to the fact that film is a visual medium.

Harry’s disguise made every sense, and so he had it in the book , but it was not overly important for the scene. Probably because of that, taking the time to show it and explain it was avoided.

Also, having a different actor being Harry would be distracting for some of the viewers, even when explained, and it would also probably feel old .

So, unless there is a real need – from the perspective of the scene, not the plot – for Harry to be disguised, he’s not.

Granted, this is a bit speculative, but whose appearance would he assume by use of polyjuice potion? Anyone who he would want to look like would be attending the wedding, and having two “copies” of the same person would make it obvious to any Death Eaters around that one of them was Harry.
