St Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is a hospital within the Harry Potter universe. Medics at the hospital are not called doctors, but are known as Healers and wear lime-green robes. Founded by famous wizard Healer Mungo Bonham, St Mungo’s is located in London. It was established to treat magical maladies, injuries or illnesses endemic to the Wizarding World. To enter the premises, one has to step through the window of what appears to be a derelict department store called Purge & Dowse Ltd. The exteriors of the hospital are red-bricked and dirty, which is the complete opposite of the interiors. Inside, everything is very neat and looks exactly as a hospital should. There are six floors. The emblem of St Mungo’s is a magic wand crossed with a bone. This is the hospital where Arthur Weasley is sent after he was attacked by Voldemort’s snake, Nagini, in the Ministry of Magic and Minerva McGonagall is hospitalised from severe stunning when Hagrid is forced out of Hogwarts. During one visit, Harry and company happen across Neville Longbottom, who has come with his grandmother to visit his parents in the long-term care ward. Or as its known colloquially, Harry Potter and the Worst Camping Trip Ever. After the events of the previous book culminating in another major characters heartbreaking death Harry vows to personally destroy every one of Voldemorts Horcruxes. These Horcruxes are objects containing pieces of Voldemorts soul, rendering him effectively immortal. Which means that if Harry wants even a chance at killing Voldemort face-to-face, hell need to locate and eliminate the Horcruxes first. Its this daunting prospect that leads to the Worst Camping Trip Ever though of course, its brightened somewhat by the presence of the ever-faithful Ron and Hermione.
To be fair, the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows arent as quotidianly miserable as the events of OotP at least we know the characters are suffering for a greater purpose. But that doesnt stop this from being, as you might expect, the darkest book in the series. From the corrupting influence of a locket that causes Ron to abandon his friends, to the tragic prophecy that Harry uncovers through more of Snapes past memories, this book truly tests the readers tolerance for beloved characters in distress.

Number 12, Grimmauld Place , London is the address and name of reference to the home of the Black family, an ancient and pure-blooded line of wizards. It first appears in the fifth book. The structure of Number 12 Grimmauld Place is a Georgian terraced house.
Number 12 houses the Black family tree on a wall tapestry, and an enchanted portrait of Walburga Black, Sirius’ mother. Real Harry Potter Sells First Edition Of Philosopher’s Stone
A rare first edition of a Harry Potter novel has been sold for Â£27,500 – by Harry Potter.
He was given Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone by his “flabbergasted” father in 1997, when he realised it was about a wizard with his son’s name.
The sale of the hardback from the initial print run of 500, has been described as “emotional and magical”.
The novel sold at auction to a private buyer.
Mr Potter, from Waterlooville in Hampshire, was just eight when the first in the series of JK Rowling’s blockbuster novels came out.
The 33-year-old said his family decided to sell the book to honour his late father, David, who died from cancer in 2017.
His sister, Katie Sign said: “I remember Dad bursting through the front door after work brandishing a book, proclaiming ‘you’ll never believe what I’ve got!’.
“At first glance we were confused. Had someone written a book for Harry?
“The novelty and coincidence of the namesake was what made us open that first book but the magic of the story kept us turning the pages for years and years,” she added.
The hardback copy, one of only 500 in the first print run, includes a number of misprints including the word “wand” appearing twice on page 53 and “Philosopher’s” misspelled on the rear cover.
It was sold to a private UK buyer at Hansons Auctions in Etwall, Derbyshire.
Auctioneer Charles Hanson the sale was “very emotional and magical”.
“The providence is unique – it’s an honour to sell Harry Potter’s Harry Potter.”

Books in better to near perfect condition could sell for as much as £4000 and anything signed or inscribed by J.K herself will be worth considerably more. The print run can also affect the price the books will sell for.
Very early U.S and Australian copies of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone including the deluxe edition can be expected to make around £1800. These were printed in 1998 and 1999 and you may get more if you have a set of these first editions together I think youd have to be extremely lucky to do so though!
