This isn’t just an ordinary reskin. As well as centering on a massive replica of Hogwarts, the Minecraft School for Witchcraft and Wizardry mod is jam-packed with new quests and items, taking you everywhere from the solace of a snowy Hogsmeade to the shady side streets of Knockturn Alley. On top of some established wizardry lore, the trailer mentions that players will be able to “discover secrets and mysteries,” implying that there’s a degree of original writing here, too, and a variety of areas and stories to explore for Harry Potter aficionados.

If you have a lot of experience with building, it will take a few days to a few weeks.
If you have little experience, it can take months. But until then he would probably be disinterested.

It always depends on how you want to build it. Can also be built quickly if, for example, it should only look from the outside as if it is Hogwarts. I would say that takes a maximum of 1.5 hours. But it also depends on your knowledge.
But if you want to have it detailed then you have to put a lot of time into it, willy-nilly. Again, it depends on your knowledge. Personally, I probably wouldnt even make it because Im not the greatest builder in Minecraft. So first of all you have to have a lot of knowledge of something like that and depending on how much it depends. I would say at most 4 months xD.

BEWITCHED Harry Potter fans have recreated key film locations in the Minecraft video game.
The staggeringly detailed project includes a full-scale replica of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Gamers are free to explore the castle, and even take part in lessons, quests and the odd Quidditch match.
The castle even has a Chamber of Secrets, which served as a key location in the second movie.
Iconic characters such as Hagrid and Dumbledore appear inside the castle, bringing the world to life.
The modders behind the project have also recreated other locations from the franchise, including Privet Drive, Diagon Alley and Platform 9 & 3/4.
Die-hard Potter fans at the Floo Network a team of Minecraft modders have spent around seven years on the project.
The mod is set to be available by the end of the month, and will be free to download for anyone with the game.
A little more than two years ago we released a recreation of a number of the locations from the Harry Potter Universe, the Floo Network wrote.
Since then, we have been working on expanding and improving that map, creating a Harry Potter-themed RPG map in Vanilla Minecraft.
We are a very small team consisting primarily of poor students who have spent and continue to spend countless hours making this map.
