Daniel Radcliffe Has Never Been Asked To Return To Harry Potter
Its been more than a decade since Daniel Radcliffe last appeared as The Boy Who Lived in the Harry Potter films, but fans continue to associate him with the franchise. Thats to be expected after playing one of the most iconic film characters of the 21st century, but dont count on seeing the actor in future Wizarding World projects.
For one, Radcliffe is no longer the age to play a Hogwarts student, though he could play a grown-up version of Harry or even another character. However, the Harry Potter star has also moved on to other projects most recently, the TBS series Miracle Workers.
Of course, that hasnt stopped fans from speculating about Radcliffes possible return to Harry Potter. During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor was asked which adult character hed have liked to play in the series. I would probably want to go with like, Sirius or Lupin, he responded. Those were always the two characters that I was like, Theyre great. And also like, Im obviously biased by my experience of filming those scenes, with those people, and theyre like some of my favourite memories.
Harry Potter And The Half
Voldemort and his Death Eaters are increasing their terror upon the Wizarding and Muggle worlds. Needing him for an important reason, Headmaster Dumbledore persuades his old friend Horace Slughorn to return to his prior post at Hogwarts. During Slughorns Potions class, Harry takes possession of a strangely annotated school textbook, previously owned by the Half-Blood Prince.
In July 2007, it was announced that Yates would return as director. Kloves returned to write the screenplay after skipping out of the fifth film, with Heyman and David Barron back as producers. Watson considered not returning for the film, but eventually signed on after Warner Bros. moved the production schedule to accommodate her exam dates. Principal photography began on 24 September 2007, and concluded on 17 May 2008. Though Radcliffe, Gambon and Jim Broadbent started shooting in late September 2007, other cast members started much later: Watson did not begin until December 2007, Alan Rickman until January 2008, and Bonham Carter until February 2008.Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince had its world premiere on 6 July 2009 in Tokyo, Japan, and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States on 15 July.
Jk Rowling Explains Why Harry Potter 9 Will Never Happen
The Eighth Story is probably the last story in Harry Potters timeline, meaning that Harry Potter 9 wont be happening.
Speaking at the Broadway opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Sunday, J.K. Rowling said she doesnt expect to continue moving the story forward by creating a Harry Potter Book 9. The events in The Cursed Child penned by her, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany are as far as she ever envisioned the series going, she says.
I think we really have now told, in terms of moving the story forward, the story that I, in the back of my mind, wanted to tell, she said. I think its quite obvious, in the seventh book, in the epilogue, that Albus is the character Im most interested in. And I think weve done the story justice. So I think pushing it on to Harrys grandchildren really would be quite a cynical move, and Im not interested in doing that.
The Cursed Child picks up virtually right where the Epilogue in 2007s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows left off, with Albus Severus Potter and his soon-to-be friends heading off to Hogwarts. The story quickly jumps ahead a few years to a point where Albus and his lover friend Scorpius cause some serious trouble.
Rowling made the comments to Variety, and in the same report its revealed that the author has seen the show a whopping 16 times. Assuming she means Parts 1 and 2, that means shes spent 80 hours watching her baby on stage.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1

Originally scheduled for a single theatrical release, on 13 March 2008, Warner Bros. announced that the film adaptation of Deathly Hallows would be split into two parts to do justice to the book and out of respect for its fans. Yates, director of the previous two films, was confirmed to return as director, and Kloves was confirmed as screenwriter. For the first time in the series, Rowling was credited as a producer alongside Heyman and Barron, however Yates noted that her participation in the filmmaking process did not change from the previous films. Pre-production began on 26 January 2009, while principal photography began on 19 February at Leavesden Studios, where the previous six instalments were filmed. Pinewood Studios became the second studio location for shooting the seventh film.
Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Release Dates: When Is Fantastic Beasts 3 Released
Long story short, Fantastic Beasts 3 will be released in cinemas on .
Originally, it was thought the threequel would repeat the two-year release gap of the first two movies and come out on November 20, 2020. This date was never set in stone, though and when production was pushed back by Warner Bros, we knew that 2020 wasnt going to happen for the threequel.
It was then set for November 12, 2021. However, just when filming was due to begin in March 2020, the pandemic saw the start of production delayed until September. And then came the exit of Depp, leading to the movie being pushed back to July 2022.
Afteranother production delay in early February 2021, filming wrapped later that month according to composer James Newton Howard: I know that David Yates has finished shooting, and Im chomping at the bit to get going.
So, hopefully, with filming done , the current 2022 release date will stick and there will be no further release delays.
The fourth and fifth movies have never had release dates, but we originally assumed we could expect them in November 2022 and November 2024, which now definitely wont be the case.
Theres no guarantee that the third movie will be a hit, so it could well be that it marks the end of the Fantastic Beasts series. So we could be waiting a while to see if well get a fourth and fifth movie.
Assuming they do happen though, dont expect a fourth movie anytime before 2024.

New Harry Potter Movie Reportedly Set 20 Years Later Might Start A New Series
They might have run out of source material back in 2011, but Warner Bros. isnt letting the Harry Potter brand die. Since then, the studio have served up the prequel/spinoff Fantastic Beasts series, and while these movies have scratched Potterheads cravings for another trip to the Wizarding World, what we really want is more from the characters we know and love from the original films. And thats unsurprisingly something WB is now reportedly working on.
We Got This Covered is hearing that, once the FB movies are complete, the next cinematic Harry Potter project will be a sequel to the first eight movies that picks up the story 20 years later, with much of the original cast said to be returning. As youd expect, therell be some similarities with The Cursed Child stage play, but it wont be a straight-up adaptation, as we previously reported.
Rather, our sources the same ones who told us Ace Ventura 3 is in early development, which the studio has since confirmed, and that , we we also know to be true have given us an update on the project and are saying that certain story details will indeed be carried over, but there will also be several new elements to the plot. Apparently, the main thrust of the film will revolve around Voldemorts daughter attempting to resurrect her evil father.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
Or as its known colloquially, Harry Potter and the Worst Camping Trip Ever. After the events of the previous book culminating in another major characters heartbreaking death Harry vows to personally destroy every one of Voldemorts Horcruxes. These Horcruxes are objects containing pieces of Voldemorts soul, rendering him effectively immortal. Which means that if Harry wants even a chance at killing Voldemort face-to-face, hell need to locate and eliminate the Horcruxes first. Its this daunting prospect that leads to the Worst Camping Trip Ever though of course, its brightened somewhat by the presence of the ever-faithful Ron and Hermione.
To be fair, the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows arent as quotidianly miserable as the events of OotP at least we know the characters are suffering for a greater purpose. But that doesnt stop this from being, as you might expect, the darkest book in the series. From the corrupting influence of a locket that causes Ron to abandon his friends, to the tragic prophecy that Harry uncovers through more of Snapes past memories, this book truly tests the readers tolerance for beloved characters in distress.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Trailer Teaser Concept
The release date of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is projected to be at the end of 2021.There are rumours that the Trailer for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will debut in 2021.
There is no formal confirmation of the film yet, but there have been heavy speculation and suggestions that there will be another Harry Potter movie and that the old cast will even make a comeback in this one.
As much as some Harry Potter fans would prefer to remove from their past, that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child even exist the fact remains it does. And those who skipped that specific voyage, what you need to note is that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play that opened for the first time in 2016. It takes place in 2017, 19 years since the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film.

Once Fantastic Beasts has concluded the Wizarding World will need a brand new direction if they want to continue to expand the Harry Potter franchise.
While Harry Potter has come to an end and Fantastic Beasts still has three more installments, it would only be natural for Warner Bros. to be looking to the future of the Wizarding World franchise. There’s not a clear path ahead just yet, but the series of movies and books are so massive that they simply cannot leave the brand dormant for long.

Harry Potter fans will soon get four new e-books that offer up the background and folklore behind wizard magic.
For those of us Muggles who can’t attend Hogwarts, there’ll soon be a chance to go deeper into our favorite Harry Potter wizarding subjects, with the release of four new e-books.
Pottermore Publishing said last week that it’ll release a series of short e-books that explore the “traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter series.”
The books, set to start appearing in June, will go into subjects offered to wizarding students at Hogwarts. The four titles include: “Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts,” “Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology,” “Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy” and “Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures.”
The collection may offer insight into the origin of the Patronus charm, which provides individualized guardians for wizards, or the best way to quiet Mandrakes, whose screams can literally kill you.
J.K. Rowling, creator of Harry Potter, launched the popular fantasy series over 20 years ago. Since then, more than half a million Harry Potter books have been sold and the series has been translated into 80 languages, according to the Pottermore website.

Harry Potter Movies In Release Order
There are no complicated interweaving timelines to deal with if you watch the Potter movies in release date order its two distinct series, with an incomplete set of prequels following on from the parent franchise. That means theres no need to introduce any kind of Machete Order yet though if we get some massive revelation in Fantastic Beasts 3, 4 and 5, that may change. Fantastic Beasts 3 starts shooting early in 2020, ahead of a 2021 release.
Its also interesting to note that there are more Harry Potter movies than there are books, with seventh instalment The Deathly Hallows split into two parts because there was so much story to fit in. Were sure the extra box office didnt hurt either
