If early admission is at Universal Studios Florida, team members will usually; though not always; start processing visitors through the turnstiles during the EPA period and allow them to queue in the front of the park, typically by Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. This enables two time-saving strategies: if Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is operational that morning, guests can actually ride it right away, before the park officially opens; and then, afterwards, they can start;lining up for Rip Ride Rockit, Shrek 4D, or Transformers: The Ride; 3D. Considering how long Minion Mayhems line can grow as the day goes on, this can really save you a good chunk of time.

Universal Studios Hollywood Reopening Health And Safety Procedures
When visiting, guests should review and comply with all travel requirements including state travel advisories and local travel advisories. The State of California strongly recommends that visitors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, obtain a negative COVID-19 test result prior to visiting, or wear a face covering.
New health measures in place during the Universal Studios Hollywood reopening include :
- Guests who are not fully vaccinated should wear a face covering during their visit.
- All guests must wear face coverings indoors, per Los Angeles County’s mandate.
- Team members may continue to wear masks.
- Guests should maintain proper physical distancing of at least 6 feet between their party and other parties or employees.
- Guests should avoid contact with people who are sick.
- Use hand sanitizer when offered.
- Employees regularly clean and disinfect tables, chairs, ride vehicles, escalator railings and all high-touch areas.
- Cashless payments are available at all areas .
- Virtual Lines may be in use for some attractions.
- You can rent wheelchairs, strollers and ECVs for your visit. Per usual cleaning protocol, each wheelchair, stroller and ECV will be cleaned and disinfected between each guest use.
- The procedure for getting to the Lower Lot for wheelchair users is generally the same with reduced capacity.
- No more temperature checks
You will wear the mask when you enter a shop or restaurant, but you can remove the mask when seated to eat.
Universal Studios To Open Orlando Theme Parks In June
Universal Orlando plans to reopen on 5 June at reduced capacity and new health and with strict new safety procedures in place.
Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay will reopen next week following a three-month closure. Limited capacity, face masks, social distancing and disinfectants will all be part of the experience but officials are warning potential guests that despite these added precautions, a visit to the theme parks still comes with an “inherent risk”.
“This carefully managed reopening comes with stringent new health, safety and hygiene procedures in place. So, as we enjoy our parks together again, everyone will need to follow CDC guidelines and the recommendations of health officials, and Universal Orlando’s policies,” Universal said in a statement. “Note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.”

Tips For Visiting During The Phased Universal Studios Hollywood Reopening
Here are few tips and some advice for visiting during Universal’s reopening period:
- Arrive early you’ll want to maximize your time in the park!
- Purchase your theme park ticket in advance
- Opt to upgrade to Universal Express early in the day. The price varies per day .
- Single Rider lines have returned, so that’s a free way to skip the lines.
- Hit the Lower Lot early .
- Save the Wizarding World for the last two hours of the day for short waits.
- Note the time of the last Studio Tour and be in line before that time.
- Set wait time alerts for rides in the app to receive notice if the wait time drops.
- Plan your meals.
- Bring a back-up mask.
- Use the Virtual Line for Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash when offered .
- You can try out the test vehicle for Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash out front. But even if it’s not a good fit, the queue is just as enjoyable as the ride, so hop through!
- Chat with Captain Snowball across from The Secret Life of Pets.
- Bring swimsuits and water shoes for the kids to cool off in Super Silly Fun Land.
Stay At A Universal Orlando Hotel
The first method is to stay at one of Universals;hotels, which include Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort, Sapphire Falls Resort, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Aventura Hotel, and;Endless Summer Resort. All guests staying at a Universal resort, regardless of how they booked their rooms or which venue they chose, will get EPA as a benefit, including on both their check-in and check-out days. Previous Universal Harry Potter Attractions
A Harry Potter themed attraction at a Universal Studios park or a Disney park was rumored in 2003. However, the rights to the Harry Potter franchise had been acquired by Warner Bros., which denied all rumors. In January 2007, About.com reported a rumor from a “highly credible source” that the Islands of Adventure park’s Lost Continent area at Universal Orlando Resort was going to be re-themed “to the stories and characters of one of the most popular children’s franchises”. Other sources followed up in the next few days with unofficial confirmation that the new area would involve Harry Potter. On May 31, 2007, Universal, in partnership with Warner Bros., officially announced that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter would be added to Islands of Adventure.
After a 2+12-year construction period, the area officially opened to the public on June 18, 2010. This resulted in attendance at the park jumping approximately 50% in its first year of operation. On July 8, 2014, Universal opened an expansion to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios Florida, Diagon Alley, which was placed in the former Amity Island area of the park. This expansion also included the new ride experience: The Hogwarts Express, in which a train travels between the two Universal Florida Parks, from the Hogsmeade area to Kings Cross Station . A week later, on July 15, 2014, Universal opened The Wizarding World at Universal Studios Japan.

Therefore, it doesnt step on the toes of anything Universal has exclusivity over. Thus, does a virtual reality broom experience create a conflict of interest? Depends on who you ask. Is it technically a ride? Not really since you dont actually go anywhere, explains Young. Hours And New Parking Rates At Universal
You can check the park hours calendar online for the latest information. Universal Studios has expanded park hours. The park opens at 9 a.m. daily and closes at various times. The park opens the gates about 30 minutes early so you can enter and get to your must-do attractions first. Parking rates have changed. Parking generally opens an hour before park opening.
Daily parking fees:
- General parking – ;$28 from open to 5 p.m. and $10 after 5 p.m.
- Preferred parking – $35 from open to 5 p.m. and $20 after 5 p.m.
- Front Gate parking – ;$50 from open to 5 p.m.
- $5 parking with purchase of General Parking and a movie ticket at Universal Cinema at CityWalk Hollywood. To receive your $5 parking, present your general parking receipt at the Universal Cinema ticket window. Valet parking is available at this time. The following parking rates apply:

Annual Pass Holders And Reservations
Passholders can visit without making reservations. You may resume regular use of your pass in accordance with its terms. You will receive a new printed pass upon entry to the park at the time of your first visit, which will include your new pass expiration date. The expiration date of your pass will be extended by the number of days the park was closed including the additional Bonus Days period between April 15, 2021 and May 16, 2021. Passholders may visit on any day the pass is valid .

Because of this, people get to the parks as early as possible to ensure they get into the park before it hits capacity- something it does within 1-2 hours after opening almost every day. Book A Universal Orlando Vacation Package
The second way to get Early Park Admission is to book a Universal Orlando vacation package, which must include, at the very least, accommodations and theme-park tickets. As far as accommodations go, you can choose from over 20 Universal partner hotels, which tend to be mid-range and quite affordable. We must emphasize that staying at a partner hotel;alone is not enough to get EPA; you must book a;Universal Orlando vacation package, which includes both that hotel stay;and park admission, to be granted the benefit. There are many third-party travel agents who can sell you a vacation package, in addition to going through Universals own website. However, if you arent booking directly with Universal, make sure you get an E-Travel Document that states your Early Park Admission eligibility.
How Do I Go About Using Early Park Admission On My Check
The answer to this question depends on whether you are staying at a Universal property or at one of the independent partner hotels.
If you are at the former;and want to use Early Park Admission on your check-in day, we recommend arriving at your resort one to two hours before early entry officially starts. Although your room will most likely not be available just yet, guests may still check in to receive a room key for each member of his party, to serve as proof of your hotel stay . Leave your cell number with the front desk so that they can text you when your room is ready, and drop your bags at luggage services.
