The original books follow the story of protagonist Harry Potter as he navigates his newly-discovered identity as a wizard. What unfolds is a beloved tale of magic, intrigue, and unbreakable friendship that inspired a love to read for entire generations.
Others expressed frustration that no new content is being created, and old franchises are being stretched out unnecessarily.

Where To Watch All The ‘harry Potter’ Movies Before The Hbo Max Reunion
The cast of the Harry Potterfranchise, including Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, will soon be reunited for a 20th anniversary special, coming to HBO Max on January 1.
As that is eight days from December 24, now is the time to start a great rewatch of the eight movies if you want to have time to watch one a day from now until when the special airs.
Unfortunately for fans, the eight movies have a habit of shifting from one streaming service and landing on another with little to no notice.
Luckily, the services who have been swapping the Harry Potter specials between them seem to have reached a compromise that should satisfy most fans.
All Eight Harry Potter Movies Are Leaving Hbo Max Soon
The entire Harry Potter collection will leave HBO Max at the end of August.
Every Harry Potter movie is leaving HBO Max relatively soon. It’s been confirmed by Variety that the entire franchise collection will leave the streaming service on August 31.
The movies set for removal include Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.
While these movies are leaving HBO Max, fans in the US can still stream them elsewhere. All eight films were added to Peacock on July 1.
HBO Max debuted in May 2020 with the entire main Harry Potter series, but they quickly left the service after just 90 days and jumped to Peacock in the fall of that year. HBO Max swung back and renewed the rights starting September 2021 for a period of one year.
While the main Harry Potter series is leaving HBO Max soon, members in the US can stream the three spinoff films in the Fantastic Beasts series on the platform. Beyond those, the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary special is available on HBO Max.
Looking ahead, the new boss at Warner Bros. is reportedly interested in creating new Harry Potter content for HBO Max and took a meeting with J.K. Rowling to discuss what could happen.

Are The Harry Potter Movies Streaming On Netflix
In the U.S.? No. In other countries? Yes.
Currently, two territories have the eight Potter movies in their Netflix catalogs. Netflix Australia has the rights to show them, as does the streamer in Turkey.
In Canada, the films are on Crave, while UK viewers can watch them on Now TV.

Besides feelings of frustration, it seems there is a general trend among Harry Potter fans to binge-watch all the films in the franchise.
Upon realising that there were just four days to watch Harry Potter on HBO Max, one mega-fan tweeted that the challenge to binge-watch them all in that timeframe had been accepted.
Another wrote: apparently all the harry potter movies are leaving hbo max in like 4 days so now i gotta have a hp movie marathon
With a total running time of nearing twenty hours, if you want to watch all eight films, you better get started! A reasonable Harry Potter movie marathon should take between two and three days.

Harry Potter fans shouldn’t head to Platform 9 and 3/4 just yet.
Despite previous reports suggesting that a live-action Harry Potter series was in the works at HBO Max, the streaming service has made it clear that they aren’t heading back to Hogwarts any time soon. Sarah Aubrey, HBO Max’s head of originals, confirmed the news, telling Variety, “We don’t have a series in active development right now.”
Now, before you drown your sorrows in a butterbeer, Aubrey hinted that HBO Max hasn’t ruled out creating additional Harry Potter content.
“There’s nothing like a Harry Potter fan,” Aubrey shared, “in terms of their endless appetite for storytelling and new ways of interacting with these characters. So whether it’s the reunion or live events or games, we’re very much in the business of creating new content for those fans and thinking what to do next.”
In short, don’t put away your house robes just yet.

How To Watch Every ‘harry Potter’ Movie
All eight “Harry Potter” movies are now available to watch on both HBO Max and Peacock Premium at the same time. That said, it’s not clear how long the movies will remain on each platform since the films tend to jump between a few different services.
The cheapest way to watch every “Harry Potter” movie is with a Peacock subscription. Peacock offers some of its library for free, but to stream the “Harry Potter” franchise, you’ll need a Peacock Premium plan. You can opt for the ad-supported tier for $5 a month or the ad-free one for $10 a month.
Meanwhile, HBO Max’s ad-supported tier costs $10 a month, and the ad-free tier costs $15 a month. All subscribers can watch the “Harry Potter” movies. The ad-free plan also adds support for downloading content and the ability to stream select titles in 4K quality. That said, the “Harry Potter” movies are limited to high definition .

Take the Harry Potter movies, for instance given how beloved they are, any streaming service would kill to have those eight films available to watch. The Harry Potter movies were produced by Warner Bros., so youd figure theyd only be available on HBO Max. And maybe someday thatll be true, but Warner Bros. contracted them out to other providers years before the streaming wars heated up, probably not realizing what a hot commodity they would become.
The result: the Harry Potter movies are available to watch on NBCUniversals streaming service Peacock, of all places. Peacock is usually free to watch, but NBCUniverse knows what it has with the Harry Potter movies viewers have to pay an extra fee to get to them.
But now, the Harry Potter movies are also available again on HBO Maxfor June 2021 and not a moment longer. So if youre an HBO Max subscriber and feel like visiting Hogwarts, best do it while you can.
