Released one year after Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Chris Columbus finished up his two-film run with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The movie that started it all came in 2001, four years after the publication of the novel. In the film, a young boy named Harry Potter lived with his emotionally abusive aunt and uncle until he learned his parents were great wizards, and he received an invitation to begin studying at Hogwarts, a prestigious wizarding school.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald
The final movie so far in the Harry Potter world hit theaters in 2018. This was the second movie in the Fantastic Beasts series. This is a 1938 English classic that reads as easily as a modern-day thriller. This story has got all the trappings of a chilling Alfred Hitchcock movie, so its no surprise that Hitchcock adapted it for the screen in 1940.
It features a widower, his new wife and a fanatical housekeeper. The narrator speaks at an easy pace, and if youre really a fan of the story, you can watch the movie too.
Rebecca is a book thats all about the subtleties. Nothing is written without intention. This isnt a particularly hard read, but the French learner will benefit from really tuning in with a keen ear to the nuances of the story and how the language gets the point across by showing, not telling.
