His Health Suffered Because Of His Mission
Malfoy was cocky and arrogant for the first five books in the Harry Potter series and this seemed to be sole character attribute. In Half-Blood Prince, however, he took more to himself and was barely seen by anyone.
Although he did start off being arrogant, the months took their toll on him and the pressure of taking out Dumbledore got to him. Harry noted when he got close to Malfoy that the latter was looking exceptionally frail. The possibility of Voldemort taking his life caused Malfoys health to suffer.
The Name Malfoy Tells Us A Lot About The Family
The Malfoy family is known for being powerful and conniving with very little regard for others, and the last name practically tells the reader to expect this from them.
According to Wizarding World, Malfoy comes from the old French words “mal” and “foi” .
Even Voldemort’s trust in the Malfoy’s ends up being in bad faith because they run and hide at the first sign of trouble.
He Is Much Older Than The Actor
Its weird to realize this but the actors in the Harry Potter films are almost all now in their thirties. Tom Felton was among the older ones and hell be turning 32 later this year. However, this is still much younger than how old Draco Malfoy is supposed to be.
Malfoy was born in June 1980, which would make him 39-years-old this year and gives him a seven-year difference himself and the actor portraying him. This means that Malfoy was already 21 when Philosophers Stones film was released.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Real
The events of Order of the Phoenix take place between 1995 and 1996. Filming began on February 7, 2006, and continued until December 31, 2006. It was released on June 28th, 2007.
From February to November 2006, live-action shooting took place in England and Scotland for outdoor locations, and at Leavesden Film Studios in Watford for interior locations, with a one-month break in June.
Post-production on the film lasted several months after it was finished in order to incorporate special effects. According to reports, the films budget ranged between £75 and £100 million .
The film was released in the United Kingdom on July 12, 2007, and in North America on July 11, 2007, in both traditional and IMAX theaters it is the first Potter film to be released in IMAX 3D.
Order of the Phoenix is the longest novel in the Harry Potter series, with 766 pages in the British edition and 870 in the American edition, but the film is the second shortest.
The inclusion or exclusion of certain characters sparked fan speculation about the significance of the characters in the final book of the series, which was released only ten days after the film.
In April 2006, Jim McManus representatives announced that he would be playing Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus brother and the bartender at the Hogs Head, where Harry and his friends discovered Dumbledores Army.
He Was Among The Youngest
Malfoy loved to gloat about his position, but as far as being older in class was concerned, he was at the complete bottom. According to the year and months of birth, Malfoy was born in June 1980 this made him only older than Neville and Harry, both of who were born one day apart at the end of July.
We saw this in effect when Malfoy and Harry were the only ones in Slughorns class while every other student had been off for apparition tests. Looks like Malfoy really was just a big baby, wasnt he?

The Malfoys’ Mental Instability May Be The Result Of Their Pure
The Malfoys believe in pure-blood supremacy, and according to Rowling, that contributed to some of the mental instability in the later generations of the family.
Their commitment to marrying pure-bloods left them with an increasingly small gene pool to choose from, so the Malfoys, along with the Gaunts and Lestranges, became “enfeebled and unstable.”
This may be why some of the characters we encounter in the series, like Bellatrix Lestrange and Draco, seem mentally unbalanced at times.

He Gets Punched By Ron
Harry, Ron, and Hermione save the lives of Draco and Goyle after theyre all nearly burned to death inside the Room of Requirement. This comes close to happening because of Crabbe casting a spell he cant control, one that gets out of control and ends up costing himself his own life as a result.
Afterwards, Draco is seen begging a Death Eater to let him join their cause. Ron, seeing this, then punches him in the face and labels him a two-faced b******. This would have been fun and satisfying to see, but Warner Bros chose to omit it from the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The colorful use of language may potentially be why

The Chamber Of Secrets
In Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, Draco hasnt changed much. Hes still a selfish, spoiled brat. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger all despise him really, he doesnt give them any reasons not to.
Dracos biggest scene in this film is in the Slytherin Common Room with Ron and Harry, who have disguised themselves as Crabbe and Goyle. Hes unnecessarily mean to them even though he thinks theyre his friends, telling them how stupid and inferior they are compared to him. The dungeons are a fitting place for him, then, as he bullies people and congratulates whoever is harming mudbloods while the Chamber is open.
Its frightful to see an actual child be this prejudiced. At just 12 years old, Draco harbors extreme conservative ideologies. It could be argued that this biased rant, which foreshadows a major divide in the Wizarding community, is Dracos most villainous moment. Although he is actively name-calling Hermione throughout the entire series, this rant while hes alone and at his most confident in his disgusting opinions illustrates just how indoctrinated he already is and how awful he could turn out to be.
How Tall Is Draco Malfoy
Harry Potter is an epic fantasy series brimming with witches, wizards, and plenty of magical creatures. Despite this, a lot of the franchise is based in a reality similar enough to our own, with much of the main cast looking very much like regular Muggles to unassuming eyes.
While the three central friends in the seriesHarry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasleyare characters we love to root for, their story wouldnt be half as interesting without a variety of antagonists for them to face off against. This of course includes Harrys primary rival at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy.
Portrayed by actor Tom Felton for the entire Harry Potter film franchise, Malfoy has grown up with along with fans who first saw him in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Theres a lot that we already know about Malfoyhis dark magic tendencies, his Death Eater father, his intolerable arrogancebut one thing you might not know is exactly how tall he is.

The Malfoy Family Has Ties To British Royalty
With all the money and influence of the Malfoy family, it’s no surprise that they have some pretty powerful connections. According to a 2015 feature on Pottermore, one of those connections is the British monarchy.
Draco’s ancestor Armand Malfoy performed “shady services to King William I” in exchange for the family’s first lot of land in England.
The first Lucius Malfoy also offered his hand to Queen Elizabeth I, and there are even rumors that the Malfoys jinxed the queen after she refused him.
Magical Abilities And Skills
Draco was a talented wizard from a young age and possessed several impressive magical abilities. His wand was made of hawthorn, which one should only ever consider placing in the hands of a witch or wizard of proven talent. Following his training from his aunt Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco grew to be an accomplished wizard for his age.

- Harry admits Draco’s talent in flying
- Flying: He was quite a fine Quidditch player and broomstick flyer. He started flying at a younger age showing his skills in his first year. He made the team as a seeker in his second year, which was a very difficult position to acquire. Although his entrance into the team is enhanced due to his father bribing the team with the new Nimbus 2001broomsticks, he also had sufficient talent, although Harry still surpassed him in pure skill despite Draco’s alleged experience and superior broomstick in their first game against each other. When Draco refused to play during his sixth year, his team suffered greatly due to the fact that his replacement did a poorer job, suggesting that no Slytherin during his time was more skilful than him.

Draco Malfoy and his cohorts
Dracos two constant companions throughout his Hogwarts years were Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle. Crabbe and Goyle were often involved in Draco’s confrontations with Harry Potter and his friends. Though Draco often made it clear that he considered both of them rather stupid a legitimate claim and treated them more like lackeys than friends, he showed genuine concern for them and the rest of his gang on a few occasions when Goyle was bitten by Scabbers the Rat, Draco waited for Goyle before leaving, and he also showed concern for Goyle when he was hit by Harry’s Curse, when Dumbledore expressed his disgust with Draco for allowing Fenrir Greyback “into the school where his friends live,” Draco denied knowing he would be there, clearly disturbed by the sadistic werewolf‘s unexpected presence. Draco’s abrupt departure from his criminal activities left Crabbe and Goyle looking oddly lonely to Harry, as Harry was used to seeing Draco in between the two hulking boys, bossing them around.
He Was A Coward By Personality
Just because he wasnt inherently rotten doesnt mean Malfoy was a braveheart. While all the fangirls on the internet would love to believe that Malfoy was secretly brave and on Harrys side, this wasnt the case.
In actuality, Malfoy was a deep coward who only hesitated to take out Dumbledore because he was scared about the consequences. He didnt rat Harry out at the Manor because he was afraid of what would happen if Voldemort arrived there. In the Battle of Hogwarts, all Malfoy did was cower like a frightened little boy.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
The Malfoys remain reluctant followers of Voldemort, who now uses their home as his headquarters Draco passes out after witnessing Voldemort murder Muggle Studies professor Charity Burbage. Harry experiences occasional and disturbing visions of Draco being forced into performing Voldemort’s bidding and feels “sickened… by the use to which Draco was now being put by Voldemort.” When Harry, Ron, and Hermione are captured and taken to Malfoy Manor, Draco is asked to identify them, and though they are clearly recognisable, he only ambiguously replies “It might be.” During the successful escape from Malfoy Manor headed by Dobby, Harry overpowers Draco and captures his wand.
When Harry, Ron, and Hermione seek Ravenclaw’s diadem in the Room of Requirement, Draco, along with Crabbe and Goyle , attempts to capture Harry alive. However, Crabbe defies Draco’s orders and attempts to kill the trio by casting the deadly Fiendfyre unable to control the spell, he dies in the blaze while the trio rescue Draco and Goyle . Draco, despite his often condescending and belittling attitude toward Crabbe and Goyle , grieves for his lost friend. He is once again saved by Harry and Ron, the latter of whom punches Draco in the face under the invisibility cloak for attempting to appease the Death Eater.

Final Year At Hogwarts
There seem to be a couple of things wrong here. The Seventh book Draco’s mother explicitly states at Easter that Draco is “home for his holiday” which very much suggests he was attending Hogwarts . Surely the article should reflect this?
Also why does this page say “Afterwards, Draco and his family were detained to the Manor by Lord Voldemort” when referring to Harry’s escape from Malfoy Manor?Apart from being poor English, Voldemort mocks Lucius for the fact that Draco has not joined him like the rest of the Slytherins during the Battle of Hogwarts. This implies that Draco did return to Hogwarts after the Easter holidays, otherwise why would Voldemort expect him to be with the other Slytherins? The fact that his mother asks if Draco is “still in the castle” is further evidence of this.Serenity Smiles 15:56, October 15, 2014
Telling Rita Skeeter Private Information
Draco spends a huge amount of time during his years at Hogwarts trying to get Harry Potter and his friends into trouble. He seems to take a lot of joy in making other people miserable, but double so when he publicly humiliate his victims.
This was especially apparent when he is the one, along with other Slytherins, who pass private information onto Rita Skeeter. This is how she learns about many things, many of them untrue, about Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid.

Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone Real
The events of Philosophers Stone take place between 1991 and 1992. Filming began on September 29, 2000, and continued until March 23, 2001. Its release was scheduled for November 4, 2001.
The main character, Harry Potter, was 11 years old during the events of the first book/movie. Since the ages of characters did not differ in the books and movies, it is safe to say how old a certain character was at what time.
However, the actors were sometimes a bit older or younger. So, for example, Daniel Radcliffe was 11 years old during the filming of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.
Many influenced the young British actors from the Potter films influenced Radcliffe, maybe none more so than Gary Oldman, who played Sirius Black in many of the films, most notably the last, 2004s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Surprisingly, Radcliffe considers the film to be the time he learned he liked acting.
He claims that his parents constantly reminded him that he was not obligated to just keep doing this.
But as he grew in confidence, Radcliffe started to see his active creativity as his most valuable quality as an actor.
Ron Weasley, Harrys best friend often seems less mature than Harry or Hermione. However, he was 11, going on 12 at the time. His actor was a bit older and was exactly a year older than his character. So, Rupert Grint was 12 at the time of filming.
