Pottermore Publishing has collaborated with Chinese audiobook platform Ximalaya to release the Harry Potter series in a Chinese audiobook version as of 21 June.
According to Pottermore Publishing, Ximalaya collaborated with VoiceGem and some prominent Chinese voice actors, such as Jiang Guangtao, to record the series in Chinese for the first time.
Pottermore is planning to release audiobooks in possibly as many as a dozen other languages in the next few years. We will have more information about those audiobooks probably next year. In the meantime, if you are a Chinese speaker, or student of the Chinese language, you can order the new Chinese audiobooks here.

Surely you will be surprised about this: Harry Potter is a type of literary works worth but suffer the rejection of the publishers in the journey to readers. Episode 1 of Harry Potter did not receive any approval from 12 publishers, including large units such as Penguin and Harper Collins. The first Harry Potter book series was only accepted by Bloomsbury, a small English publisher, but fortunately, thanks to the publishers 8-year-old daughter being able to read the first few chapters of the manuscript.

Believe it or not, there are two ways you can also have a friend or family member share a Harry Potter book with you via Audible:
First, members of your Amazon Household can share Audible books by way of the Family Library feature. If another member of your Amazon Household has a Harry Potter book in his or her library, follow the below steps.
- Log in to and hover over “Account & Lists” at the top right of the screen.
- Go to “Content and Devices.” Select the “Preferences tab.”
- Next, select “Households and Family Library,” and then select “Manage your Household.”
- Thereafter, you need to “Manage Your Family Library.”
Second, if a friend has a Harry Potter title in his or her Audible library, he or she can share the book by opening your Audible app and tapping My Library at the bottom of the screen. Then, find the specific Audible book and tap the three dots to the far right of the book. Tap Send this Book.
