The Harry Potter film series based on seven novels by J.K. Rowling of the same name reached its end with Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2. The distributor Warner Bros. made the film series of eight parts from seven novels. The story of Harry, Hermione, and Ron ends in the last part when they send their children off to Hogwarts. Yet, J.K. Rowling with John Tiffany and Jack Thorne had also written a play which reportedly was planned to come out as HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD Movie.
Harry Potter Hbo Series
Rumors of an HBO Harry Potter TV series have been doing the rounds for quite some time, and while there doesn’t appear to be anything concrete, there still remains a high possibility that this could happen, given the unwavering popularity of the franchise, from the ongoing success of the books and films to new films in the form of Fantastic Beasts spin-offs and theme parks and video games and so on.
Of course, none of that is actual evidence. But whether it does or doesn’t happen, this has very little to do with Harry Potter in films. Right? Not necessarily. Look at the success of The Mandalorian not only has it resulted in the greenlighting of several other live-action Star Wars shows, but also upcoming movie projects such as Star Wars:Rogue Squadron.
Should a Harry Potter TV series ever come to light, though, it’s not known exactly where along the timeline the show would be set. Those rumors suggest that it will take place during Harry Potter’s time at Hogwarts, but this would be tricky to navigate, seeing as the show would have to keep the likes of Harry, Ron, and Hermione off the screen . However, let’s not forget that The Mandalorian operates close enough to the original Star Wars trilogy, and so far hasn’t failed to bring back some original characters, such as fan-favorites Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker.

New potential Harry Potter movies & TV shows are on the way and its making diehard fans super excited. Harry Potter fans, aka Potterheads, have enjoyed seven incredible books & movies over the years not including the prequel film series Fantastic Beasts. The imagination of J.K. Rowling is undeniable with the whimsical stories of Harry Potters adventures existing as proof.
When The Cursed Child became a popular stage play followed by the popular video game Hogwarts Legacy being released, Potterheads had even more to hold onto. It appears as though there wont just be one new Harry Potter movie or TV show either . . . Its looking like there will be at least three TV projects.
According to We Got This Covered, three separate TV Shows are currently in development even though the bulk of their details, like the Southfreak movie, are still completely under wraps. This is what we know so far.
New movie or TV show about Hermione
The character of Hermione Granger is played by the stunningly beautiful Emma Watson. She took on the role at a very young age and fans watched her grow up in front of the cameras into a lovely adult whos landed other serious roles outside of the Harry Potter franchise. Some of her other movies include The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, The Circle, and Disneys Beauty and the Beast.

Stream Them On Peacock
Even though the movies are currently streaming on HBO Max, from time to time you can also watch them on NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock. Because of a deal that dates back to 2016 , NBCUniversal has the TV and digital rights to the films until 2025. The movies aren’t available on Peacock right now, but that explains why sometimes you’ll be able to find them there before they’re officially housed on the WarnerMedia service in a few years.

The Cursed Child Story
Set 19 years later after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child shows Harry, Ron and Hermione as 37-year-old parents who are seeing their children off to Hogwarts. The play continues Harry Potters story through his son, Albus, following Albus Severus Potter as he uncovers secrets from his fathers past in a time-travel adventure. On top of the original set of characters, the play also features Draco Malfoys son Scorpius, Hermione and Rons daughter Rose, as well as Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestranges surprise offspring Delphi. The time-travel aspect of the play could make for a very engaging movie or TV series, both for new and old, loyal audiences by exploring much of the original story through a fresh lens.

Daniel Radcliffe May Not Return As Harry Potter Due To Jk Rowling
The end of the story of the boy who lived left everyHarry Potter fan with a bittersweet taste. After all, the franchise movie Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part II wrapped the saga ten years ago. Yes, it has already been ten years since the last Harry Pottermovieseries came out in theaters.
However, the wizarding world hasnt been completely out of our minds with the new Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts. This new magical saga showed Harry Potter fans a new side of the wizarding world not touched by the original films.
Despite the new view of our beloved wizarding world being portrayed in the new saga, it may be heartbreaking to think that fans might not see the original Harry Potter cast together on the big screen again. Some of the original franchise actors have even stated the possibility.

Fantastic Beasts 3 Trailer
Given all the delays and controversies, there is sadly no trailer as yet. But for fans wishing to get their teeth into anything Wizarding World-related, check out the brand-new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, an upcoming open-world video game from Portkey Games that takes place in the late 1800s, just a few decades before the Fantastic Beasts series begins.
Returning cast members are Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Ezra Miller, and Jude Law, who will all be reprising their roles as Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein, Jacob Kowalski, Theseus Scamander, Credence Barebone, and Albus Dumbledore.
Mads Mikkelsen will be replacing Johnny Depp as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Johnny Depp played the character in the first two Fantastic Beasts installments but was asked to leave by Warner Bros., following his court case with ex-partner Amber Heard.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actor Richard Coyle is also said to have joined the cast, and will be playing the younger version of Dumbledore’s older brother Aberforth.

Fantastic Beasts 3 Grindelwald
The character of Gellert Grindelwald was controversial long before the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard fiasco. In fact, he was quite controversial even before his heinous actions in the most recent installment, which sees him claiming some truly innocent lives on his rise to power. Grindelwald was mentioned in the Harry Potter series both books and films alike – having once owned the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that would ultimately help to defeat Lord Voldemort.
Like Voldemort, Grindelwald was a powerful dark wizard, intent on emphasizing the lines of separation between the Wizarding World and the No-Maj World, due to his belief that wizards, witches, and other magical beings are superior to humankind, and in an earlier life was even close friends with Dumbledore. In the first film, Grindelwald uses Polyjuice Potion so that he can pose as an Auror, in an attempt to locate Credence Barebone. At the end of the second film, Grindelwald reveals Credence’s real identity to him that he is a Dumbledore.
Production for the film wrapped in late February this year, following delays due to COVID-19 and the Johnny Depp controversy and recasting.

Harry Potter is an orphaned boy brought up by his unkind Muggle aunt and uncle. Voldemort also attempted to kill one-year-old Harry on the same night, but his killing curse mysteriously rebounded and reduced him to a weak and helpless form. Harry became extremely famous in the Wizarding World as a result. Harry begins his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and learns about magic. During the year, Harry and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger become entangled in the mystery of the Philosopher’s Stone which is being kept within the school.

Fantastic Beasts 3 Plot: What Is Fantastic Beasts 3 About
Officially, all we know about the third movie is that there will be a “globe-trotting adventure” with speculation that it would take place in Brazil.
Even if the main adventure takes place in Brazil, that doesn’t rule out the third movie spending more time at Hogwarts. It’s rumoured that there will be more of a focus on Dumbledore, which we’d definitely welcome.
We haven’t had many teasers from the cast as of yet, but Fogler did reveal in March 2020 that he’d read the script.
“The character development is really lovely and it’s very similar to the feel of the first movie, which I think is great,” he said. “It’s leading toward this massive war with the backdrop of World War II, so you can just imagine epic battle scenes are coming.”
Intriguing.
Fogler’s co-star Katherine Waterston was equally mysterious about what we can expect from the movie.
“I never really know what I’m supposed to say or not say,” she explained. “But yes, I can confirm there will be surprises. I just thought of one, in fact. It surprised me! I think that’s about as far as I can go.”
Given the potential doubt over the future of the series, it’ll be interesting to see whether the third movie is as open-ended as The Crimes of Grindelwald, or could it potentially end in a way that could mark a satisfying finale to a trilogy?

Quidditch Through The Ages
Quidditch Through The Ages is another title that J.K. Rowling released for charity, which fleshes out the Wizarding World further. Once again, the text is mentioned within the main Harry Potter canon but has been fully written detailing the complex history of the sport.

There are a number of stories within the book which could definitely serve as a spin-off film, much in the way that Warner Bros. adapted Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, whether it’s a narrative based on the world’s longest game or perhaps a comedic retelling on how the Snitch was originally created . The creation of Quidditch itself would make for an exciting watch and be the first sports film set in the universe.
What Are The Deathly Hallows
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, we learn all about the three Deathly Hallows. They are the Elder Wand, the Invisibility Cloak, and the Resurrection Stone. Hermione reads to Harry and Ron a story from The Tales of Beedle the Bard, book witches and wizards grow up with, which contains a number of Wizarding World fairy tales, one of them being The Tale of the Three Brothers.
As that story goes, three brothers reach a river too dangerous to cross, where they forge a bridge out of magic. Feeling cheated, Death appears, who tricks the three men into thinking they have been clever to evade him, and offers each of them a prize: the most powerful wand in existence a stone that can bring back loved ones and his own cloak, which allows him to go unseen.
At this point in Deathly Hallows, Voldemort is hunting the Elder Wand, which he knows Dumbledore won from dark wizard Grindelwald long ago. Harry realizes what Voldemort is up to, but at the end of Part I, Voldemort finally acquires it from Dumbledore’s tomb, with which he intends to kill Harry.
Harry, however, is still in possession of the Invisibility Cloak, which he has owned since Sorcerer’s Stone after Dumbledore gave it to him, while the Resurrection Stone is hidden inside Harry’s Golden Snitch, which is posthumously gifted to him by Dumbledore.
