She Never Loved Her Husband Rodolphus
Bellatrix was married to Rodolphus Lestrange, but the marriage was loveless on her part. The two met at Hogwarts, and her parents arranged a marriage of convenience. Rodolphus was a pure-blood, like their family, and it was very important to the Blacks to preserve their pure-blood heritage. He’s also rich and a Slytherin. Her sister Narcissa also married a pure-blood, Lucius Malfoy, but she loved him and had a son with him: Draco Malfoy.
Rodolphus became a Death Eater like his wife and they at least worked together in service of Lord Voldemort, but she never expresses any affection for him and barely mentions him. He and Bellatrix were part of the group that tortured Frank and Alice Longbottom together and went to Azkaban for it. They never had any children together, a sign that the marriage was a farce. Voldemort was the sole object of Bellatrix’s obsession and romantic love.

She Always Appears On Voldemort’s Right In Deathly Hallows Part 2
Bellatrix is Voldemort’s right hand woman, and that was cleverly communicated in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with the choice to always show Bellatrix on his right side. In every shot in which Voldemort and Bellatrix appear together, she always positions herself on his right. This is also traditionally the position of a leader’s most loyal and trusted follower. Having them appear next to each other also cements the closeness of their relationship.
One example is the scene in the Forbidden Forest in which Bellatrix tries to help Voldemort get up, only to be pushed away by him. She’s on his right when she tries to help him up, and when she’s pushed away, she gets up and returns to his right. It’s a fascinating and subtle filmmaking decision, one that makes you immediately want to rewatch the film .

Early Life And Education
Bonham Carter was born in Islington, London. Her father, Raymond Bonham Carter, who came from a prominent British political family, was a merchant banker and served as the alternative British director representing the Bank of England at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C., during the 1960s. A modest family man and pure-blood wizard, Arthur Weasley worked for the Ministry of Magic. where he staunchly believed in the equality of all magical and non-magical citizens and quickly grew a deep fascination for Muggle culture.
Unable to hide his enthusiasm over his fixation, his curiosity showcased his fun-loving side as he butchering everyday words, incorrectly calling escalators “escapators” and referring to telephones as “fellyphones.”
With his bright red hair and kind treatment to Harry, to whom he acted as a father-like figure, Arthur Weasley is a sentimental and affectionate member of the Weasley family, making Martin Freeman an ideal casting decision.
As imagined , Freeman’s ability to play mild-mannered yet extraordinarily unique characters makes him a prime fan choice for the part.
Remus Lupin David Thewlis
David Thewlis went from playing Remus Lupin, everyones favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, to Sir Patrick, everyones least favorite villain in Wonder Woman. In between, he starred in many movies and has since held important roles in Fargo and even Netflixs Big Mouth . Thewlis will also appear in the upcoming Avatar sequels.

Theres A Reason Harry Potters Eyes Werent Green In The Movies
So that Radcliffe could look as much as the green-eyed Boy Wizard described in the books, the original plan was for Radcliffe to wear contact lenses. However, he had a terrible allergic reaction and the idea was scrapped. They were prepared to go through the expensive process of digitally altering his eyes in post-production, but J.K. Rowling said the color wasnt essential as long as he had his mothers eyes.

It’s been seven years since Harry Pottervanquished Voldemort during the Battle of Hogwarts, capping off a decade-long franchise. For ten years, Potterheads ceremoniously swarmed theaters across the world to watch J.K. Rowling’s beloved Wizarding World on the silver screen over the course of 8 films.
With a wide-ranging cast of talent, there’s been little room to complain about the casting decisions made for many of the books’ characters. Still, there’s always reason to believe some improvement could have been made, had fans only had their chance at casting the characters.
Working with limited time constraints, it’s impossible to know how differently Hogwarts would have looked had the franchise’s producers been given free rein over the budget and creative decisions that went into each film. Luckily, the Potterverse has an imaginative fanbase that’s proud to share their own unique perspectives when it comes to choosing their own ideal actors for each role.
After some extensive research, we’ve stumbled upon some interesting casting decisions we’d personally love to see come to fruition. Although the likelihood of any of these actors and actresses landing these parts in the future is slim to none, it’s encouraging to see just how lively the Harry Potter movie universe has remained since the franchise’s end.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Voldemort furthers his quest for ultimate power. He disposes of the Minister for Magic and replaces him with Pius Thicknesse, who is under the Imperius Curse. Establishing a totalitarianpolice state, he has Muggle-borns persecuted and arrested for stealing magic from the pure blood wizards. After failing to kill Harry with Dracos father Lucius Malfoys borrowed wand , he goes on a murderous search for the Elder Wand, the most powerful wand ever created, seeing it as the weapon he needs to overcome Harrys wand and make him truly invincible. He goes on a quest that takes him out of the country to Gregorovitchs wand shop, where he kills the old wandmaker. His journey also takes him to Nurmengard, the prison where Gellert Grindelwald is kept, and he kills Grindelwald as well. He finally locates the Elder Wand and steals it from Dumbledores tomb.
Rowling stated that after his death, Voldemort is forced to exist in the stunted infant-like form that Harry sees in the Kings Cross-like Limbo after his confrontation with Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest. Rowling also mentioned that, despite his extreme fear of death, he cannot become a ghost.

Molly’s famous cry to Bellatrix before killing her stands out in the minds of everyone who’s read the book or seen the movie, but adding that curse word was actually a huge deal. After all, the Harry Potter series are supposed to be appropriate for children.

In his youth, his lack of interpersonal skills as well as his bitterness towards others, particularly Gryffindor students, resulted in his constant bullying, ultimately drawing him towards Lord Voldemort’s inner circle.
As a complicated individual who hid his emotions from the world, Snape was a multi-layered sorcerer who served as a member of both the Death Eaters as well as the Order of the Phoenix.
Dressed in all black attire with shoulder-length, black hair, Mark Strong’s character from Stardust, the cold-blooded Prince Septimus, has been called a picture-perfect example of how many Potterheads imagined Severus Snape on the big screen.

Nymphadora Tonks Natalia Tena
Tonks may have been sidelined in the Harry Potter films more than we would have liked, but Natalia Tena did a wonderful job with what she had. Her talents did not go to waste, as she moved on to star in another hugely popular fantasy series, Game of Thrones. Tena also co-starred in Origins alongside a fellow Harry Potter cast member, Tom Felton. Unfortunately, Youtube did not pick up the show for a second season. Most recently she joined yet another massive franchise, having appeared in an episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
Collin Farrell As Gellert Grindelwald
A student at the Durmstrang Institute, Gellert Grindelwald was a dark wizard who caused disruption among the Wizarding World in the 1920s. Kicked out of school for experimenting in the Dark Arts, he later befriended Albus Dumbledore, only to become obsessed with finding the Deathly Hallows in an attempt to end the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.
At the end of the 2016 HP spin-off film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it is revealed in a twist ending that Percival Graves, the director of Magical Security for the Magical Congress of the United States of America, played by Colin Farrell, is actually none other than Grindelwald.
Since the reveal, many fans have petitioned to have Farrell return to the role to replace the franchise’s controversial star, Johnny Depp.

In this book, Rowling used Albus Dumbledore‘s Pensieve as a plot device to reveal that Bellatrix, rather than deserting her leader like many other Death Eaters, was part of the group of dark wizards – along with Rodolphus, Rabastan, and Barty Crouch Jr – that tortured well-known AurorsFrank and Alice Longbottom in an attempt to gain information about Voldemort’s location. For using the Unforgivable Cruciatus Curse to torture the Longbottoms until they went insane, Bellatrix and her three associates were sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban. At her trial, Bellatrix proudly and defiantly proclaimed that “The Dark Lord will rise again, Crouch! Throw us into Azkaban we will wait! He will rise again and will come for us, he will reward us beyond any of his other supporters! We alone were faithful! We alone tried to find him!” Later in that book, during his rebirthing ritual, Voldemort stated that the Lestranges were amongst the most faithful members of his inner circle.

In January of 2016 a woman named Jenn cosplayed as Bellatrix Lestrange at the Celebration of Harry Potter , held at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. While walking around the park a young boy named Jeremy, dressed as Harry Potter, appeared from nowhere with his wand raised, approached her, and challenged her to a battle.Jeremy’s Harry defeated Jenn’s Bellatrix, but it was only after they dueled that something truly magical happened – they became friends.The next time they saw each other again was one year later, at the 2017 CoHP. Just like the year before, the two of them dueled, and Harry once again triumphed. When their battle was over Jenn and Jeremy spent the afternoon together, along with Jeremy’s family. They bonded over their love of the Boy Who Lived, and their friendship deepened.
