The Deathly Hallows Come Together At Last
There was an interesting Easter egg contained in Harry’s first shot of the last film. As he’s mourning by Dobby’s beachfront grave, he looked in a triangular fragment of a mirror the elf had possessed thanks to the circular nature of his glasses, it created the symbol of the Deathly Hallows in the reflection. It was a wink to how all three elements would eventually be his to do with what he wished.
The Deathly Hallows as Part 1 explained in animated format consisted of the Elder Wand, the Cloak of Invisibility, and the Resurrection Stone. When combined, the three gave a wizard untold power, the ability to disappear from Death’s purview, and a means to bring back lost souls. Voldemort got his hands on one the Elder Wand while Harry had been casually given the cloak in his earliest days at Hogwarts, not knowing its strength. He eventually recovers the Stone, too, after kissing his Snitch goodbye with the intention of sacrificing himself.

Harry Potter Stars Who’ve Sadly Passed Away
Harry Potter has been enchanting audiences for years whether you’re a fan of the book series, or it was the films that captured your imagination, Harry Potter is a staple throughout collective, international culture. Ask yourselves: What other series has so many intricate characters, so many unique creatures, rituals, and traditions, and keeps us coming back time and time again? The only answer is Harry Potter.
J.K. Rowling brought an entirely new world to the pages of her books, and it was up to the actors throughout the film series to bring the characters to life in front of our eyes. So many people have said since the films premiered that the casting of Harry, Hermione, and Ron couldn’t have been more perfect and that Snape was just as true in the films as he was in the books. But, of course, as time has passed, beloved actors who made the wizarding world what it was have since died.
We’re taking a look back at some of the cast members of the Harry Potter film series who are no longer with us and are celebrating all that they represented on screen. Here are the Harry Potter stars who’ve sadly passed away.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald embodies everything wrong with the continued expansion of the Harry Potter universe. The Harry Potter prequel could have explored a whole new corner of the wondrous world Rowling once built. Instead Grindelwald plays like a cash grab. Rowlings script tries to connect just about every new character it introduces in some forced, hackneyed and occasionally racist way to the characters we know and love from the original Harry Potter films. But the revelation that one character will eventually become a snake or that another is a long-lost relative of Albus Dumbledore only muddles the canon.
Jennifer Smith And Jessie Cave As Lavender Brown
Now on to the most controversial Harry Potter recasting to date: Lavender Brown. Up until Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Lavender was played by an uncredited actress, since she was in the background with some of the other Gryffindor students. However, in the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film, she was credited as Jennifer Smith and seen more often during classes with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, including Care of Magical Creatures and Divination. It isnt until the sixth film that Lavender is seen again, but boy does she look different.
The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book did not come out until 2005, the same year the movie adaptation of Goblet of Fire came out. At that time, the Harry Potter producers found out that Lavender begins to have a more important role as Rons first girlfriend. As a result, they recast the role and gave it to a white actress instead, Jessie Cave. While Lavenders race is not explicitly mentioned in the books, many fans were offended by this sudden change of race, taking to sites like Tumblr to vent their frustrations and even writing academic essays on the subject. Its likely that the original casting was more of an afterthought than a purposeful choice, assigning extras minor characters names from the book so they could keep track of them. Nevertheless, it was a pretty reprehensible decision one that Warner Brothers never apologized for.

Ron Weasley And Hermione Granger
- Headmaster, youve got to stop them. Theyve got the wrong man.
- Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley regarding Sirius
Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger were Harry Potters best friends and, like Harry, they thought Dumbledore was a great wizard. Dumbledore liked them too, despite that he wasnt as close to them as he was to Harry.
After his death, he left Ron his Deluminator and Hermione his copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. These gifts were proven very useful, as Ron abandoned Harry and Hermione formerly to find his family, and, when he wanted to come back to Harry and Hermione, the Deluminator showed him the way. The trio also read the Tales of Beedle the Bard and learned about the Deathly Hallows. Harry, Ron and Hermione also visited Dumbledores portrait, after the Battle of Hogwarts.
Harry Potter And The Half
The title of this part gives me the creeps but it is a title owned by one of the very talented wizards whose identity reveal is going to be shocking. Watch as Harry alongside his mentor embarks upon a journey to the extremes of the world to find the end of Lord Voldemort. This will not end well for him as he has to suffer an immense loss of a very close aid. Will he be able to cope up with the dangers put in front of him.

Harry Potters Death In The Movie
It turns out, Harry actually had to die to eventually defeat Voldemort in the end.
This is because he was made into a Horcrux when the dark wizard tried to murder him as an infant.
As long as he was alive, so was the dark wizard.
This leads the young Potter to willingly give himself up to Voldemort as a sacrifice to help end the war.
He ends up dying in the scene by the woods and meets with Albus Dumbledore in the next world.
Since the Resurrection Stone was in his possession during this time, he was able to come back and eventually put an end to Voldemort.
This is convenient as no one else seems brave or powerful enough to put a stop to the evil magician.
Otherwise, it would be a much darker world.

Was It All In His Head
There’s a popular fan theory that everything that happened to Harry Potter outside of Privet Drive was a mental machination of his young, abused mind, and Deathly Hallows did little to dispel that theory. In fact, while at the heavenly version of King’s Cross Station, Harry asked Dumbledore if it was all in his mind and his headmaster told him that it was, but that didn’t make it any less real.
So, was the entirety of the Harry Potter universe fiction, coming from the imagination of a desperate boy who lived under the stairs and who wished for something more? Very possibly so.
