Rupert Grint And Georgia Groome
Unlike his on-screen character, Rupert Grint likes to keep away from the limelight and hasnt stolen any enchanted cars recently. Because of this, he keeps his personal life under wraps but we do know he did spend A LOT of time with the star of the popular British movie, Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. Rupert and Georgia Groome were rumored to be dating in 2011, and its believed they had an on-and-off relationship. It could be that theyre back together now, as the pair were spotted getting cozy in LA in 2017
Evanna Lynch And Robbie Jarvis
Magically, Bonnie Wright isnt the only Harry Potter actress to find love on set. While filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the mid-00s, Luna soon got to know Robbie Jarvis, who was cast as the young James Potter. While he didnt hang her upside down by her ankle like he did with Snivellus oops, we mean Severus he did seem to charm his way into her heart. Although the pair never confirmed their relationship, they did post numerous photos together after the Harry Potter franchise wrapped.
Lucius And Narcissa Malfoy
These two were both pretty nasty, though Narcissa ultimately proved how a mother’s love can overcome pretty much everything when she lied and said that Harry was dead in order to save her son. Maybe she could have done better without Lucius, then again, without their son Draco we wouldn’t have Tom Felton in the movies, so thank you Lucius and Narcissa for that.

They Rarely Communicate Throughout The Books
Im sure that a great portion of their falling in love happened between Harry defeating Voldemort and the books epilogue. But take a moment and think about how many actual conversations Harry and Ginny have.
The only two private conversations I can remember them having take place in the Chamber of Secrets and in Ginnys room in the final book.
We dont hear about their dates or study sessions, even when they are dating in The Half-Blood Prince. True, there are more important things for Rowling to talk about, but it would have been nice to hear these guys talk.
Pansy Parkinson And Blaise Zabini
Even though there were hints that Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson were dating in the series, he ultimately wound up marrying Astoria Greengrass. Given that Pansy and Blaises futures after the fall of Lord Voldemort are unknown, it is easy to imagine that the two might have fallen in love and got married. After all, both were sorted into Slytherin and sneered at the idea of marrying muggleborns. Draco once held this prejudice too, but it is clear that he has moved away from this kind of hateful ideology by the end of the Harry Potter series. It would not surprise me if Pansy became frustrated with Dracos tolerance, broke up with him and started dating Blaise because he is a proper Slytherin whose morals were not changed by the war.

Magical Abilities And Skills
Draco was a talented wizard from a young age and possessed several impressive magical abilities. His wand was made of hawthorn, which one should only ever consider placing in the hands of a witch or wizard of proven talent. Following his training from his aunt Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco grew to be an accomplished wizard for his age.

- He hadnt been lying, he could fly well.
- Harry admits Dracos talent in flying
- Flying: He was quite a fine Quidditch player and broomstick flyer. He started flying at a younger age showing his skills in his first year. He made the team as a seeker in his second year, which was a very difficult position to acquire. Although his entrance into the team is enhanced due to his father bribing the team with the new Nimbus 2001broomsticks, he also had sufficient talent, although Harry still surpassed him in pure skill despite Dracos alleged experience and superior broomstick in their first game against each other. When Draco refused to play during his sixth year, his team suffered greatly due to the fact that his replacement did a poorer job, suggesting that no Slytherin during his time was more skilful than him.

Hermione Granger And Viktor Krum
Viktor Krum is an underappreciated GEM. Though he comes from a school known for dark magic and death eaters, he doesn’t pursue either path. Hermione sees this, and values Krum for his character â not his celebrity. She recognizes that he has character, despite the stereotype of Durmstrang students. Krum also appreciates Hermione for her character and recognizes how smart and awesome she is, ignoring all the other girls throwing themselves at him. Plus, during the Triwizard Tournament, she’s the person he would miss most, and he tells her he’s never felt the way he feels for her for any other girl. And how happy are they during the first half of the Yule Ball? So. Adorable.

Harry Potter And Hermione Granger
When I first started reading the Harry Potter series, I was utterly convinced that Harry and Hermione were going to start dating by the last book. It just made so much senseboth were smart and powerful magic users, plus Hermione never let Harry wallow in self-pity. She had no problem calling Harry out on his s*** and often her brilliance helped save his life. I honestly have no idea what Hermione saw in Ronhes a nice guy, but they were constantly bickering 24/7 and I never felt that he truly respected her. He just seemed too immature for Hermione. In real life, that would be a recipe for disaster, but J.K. Rowling insisted on having a “One Big Happy Weasley Family” ending. Sigh. It wouldve been nice if Harry and Hermione got together, especially since Daniel Radcliffe also had excellent chemistry with Emma Watson.
Harry Potter: Are Any Hogwarts Professors Married
The lives of the Hogwarts teachers aren’t explored in depth in the Harry Potter series, but some details about their romances have since been revealed
Although Harry, Hermione, and Ron are deemed the heroes of the Harry Potter franchise, there is one set of characters that go underappreciated – The professors of Hogwarts. For the seven years Harry and his friends were at Hogwarts, these were the people who pledged their lives to protect them. The ones who comforted them when they were scared and ensured the students they were heard and listened to.
It is a shame that the readers never got to see more of the staff dynamics. It would have been interesting to learn more about them personally and if they had a social life outside of teaching. The only thing most people know is the professors’ relationship statuses – and some may shock you.
A Portuguese Notebook Reportedly Revealed Dracos Middle Name
Many middle names in the Wizarding World follow a pattern. For some, it may be their mother or fathers name . For others, it may come from a beloved or respected relative or friend. With Draco, its the former.
The Portuguese publishing house Editorial Presença released a notebook to accompany the release of Half-Blood Prince, and one page revealed Dracos middle name. Like Harry, that names takes its cue from his fathermaking his full name Draco Lucius Malfoy.
Just try not to laugh when he introduces himself.
Ginny Weasley And Luna Lovegood
As much as the character of Ginny Weasley irks me, I do think her less admirable qualities would have been tempered by Luna Lovegoods influence if they were dating. Ginny does seem to be very close with Luna, and even defended her BFF from bullies that tried to taunt her for being weird. It would have been nice if Ginny realized that her feelings for Harry were just a stupid schoolgirl crush, and she eventually fell in love with her pal Luna. If Ginny dated Luna, I imagine the latters calming presence would keep her fiery temper at bay while she would urge her girlfriend to be a bit more bold and outspoken in public.

Dean Thomas And Ginny Weasley
I wont lie, I felt sorry for Dean when Ginny dumped him in The Half-Blood Prince. They seemed like they were a cute couple, and it would have been nice if J.K. Rowling ditched the idea of Harry/Ginny for Dean/Ginny. After all, both Dean and Ginny were obsessed with Quidditch and seemed to be more interested in sports than they were with their studies. Sure, Harry loved Quidditch and was a great Seeker, but he has always been more interested in taking down the bad guys than winning matches. Plus, since Dean wasnt white, it would have been really cool to have an interracial couple that fell in love while attending Hogwarts and had the longevity to make it last long after they graduated from the famous wizarding school.
Getting His Wand Back
When Draco used his hawthorn wand to disarm Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Draco became master of the Elder Wand. This meant that when Harry won Dracos hawthorn wand from him in Deathly Hallows, Harry became master of the Elder Wand.
This led to Harry using the hawthorn wand to defeat Voldemort. Fans know what became of the Elder Wand and that Harry used it to repair his wand with the phoenix feather core, but they didnt know what happened to the hawthorn wand that once belonged to Draco. A that J.K. Rowling used to promote Harry Potter and the Cursed Child showed that Dracos wand in the play is made of hawthorn. This indicates that Draco has his old wand again. Since Harry has his old wand back, he has no need for the hawthorn one anymore, meaning he gave it back to Draco.
Harry Potter And Ginny Weasley
You knew this was coming from the moment Ginny fell for Harry, though it took him a while to catch on. Once Ginny relaxed around Harry and he saw her fiery, independent, strong-willed personality, he knew she was the one. I only wish the movie would have kept their story as it was in the book, with Harry kissing Ginny in front of everyone in the Gryffindor common room. Don’t even pretend you didn’t reread that scene like 700 times!! Ron is cool with the couple, Ginny tells people Harry has a tattoo of a Hungarian Horntail on his chest, and Book Ginny/Harry are an all-star Quidditch-dominating, dark-lord fighting power couple.
Cho Chang And Harry Potter
I wont lie, I was a bit disappointed that J.K. Rowling never had Cho Chang and Harry Potter wind up together at the end of the series. Both Cho and Harry have lost loved ones at very young ages, and struggled with their grief. Sure, Ginny lost her older brother Fred at the Battle of Hogwarts, but she was a bit older. Harry was an orphan, and Cho was only 14 when she discovered that her boyfriend Cedric Diggory was murdered on the orders of Lord Voldemort. I also felt that Cho liked Harry for who he was. I never got the impression that Ginny had gotten over her silly schoolgirl crush for the Boy Who Lived and in real life, that relationship would have fallen apart rather quickly.

Emma Watson And Will Adamowicz
Like her on-screen character, Emma Watson is also a brainbox. Shes a hugely talented actress, shes a model, shes an ambassador for the United Nations, and shes studied at both Oxford University AND Brown University. I mean, save some smarts for the rest of us, Emma. Although she likes to keep her personal life private, Emma could not keep her relationship with Will Adamowicz a secret during their 2011 to 2013 romance. Emma met the rugby player while studying at Oxford, but their relationship sadly came to an end.
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
During Hagrids debut as Care of Magical Creatures instructor in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the hippogriff, Buckbeak, attacks Draco after he fails to observe proper protocol while approaching it and insults it. He exaggerates the extent of his injury, giving Slytherin a chance to postpone their Quidditch match against Gryffindor until later in the year and as an attempt to have Hagrid fired. Hermione punches Draco when he mocks Hagrid for crying over Buckbeaks death sentence. Draco, who implies that he is aware of how Sirius Black was supposedly involved in the deaths of Harrys parents, also taunts Harry about the impending threat of Black: If it was me, Id want revenge. Id hunt him down myself.

Matthew Lewis And Angela Jones
Potterheads all across the world dream of one day marrying Neville Longbottom, but it seems as though Matthew Lewis has reserved that honor for a special someone. When hes not killing Nagini or trying to stop Harry, Ron, and Hermione from getting into mischief, Matthew is spending time with his fiancé, Angela Jones. The pair met while she was working at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and he later proposed to her underneath the Eiffel Tower. How bloomin adorable.
They Will Both Change With Time
This is the big issue with marrying young. Think back to who you were when you were seventeen. Are you still that person now? If you answered yes, youre probably a jerk. People change. Thats just a fact of life. Harry and Ginny, ten or twenty years into their marriage, will be completely different people than they were when they first married. This will put further strain on their marriage, as they have both romanticized each other so much. Harry being the glorious Boy Who Lived and Ginny being his best friend’s younger sister and a Weasley.

Harry Potter And The Half
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Luna is first seen on the Hogwarts Express. When some other female students invite Harry to join them in their compartment by saying that he does not have to sit with Luna and Neville, implying that they are undesirable companions, Harry witheringly states, “They’re friends of mine.” Luna observes in her bluntly honest way that people expect someone like Harry to have “cooler friends than us”. Harry’s response, indicative of the increased fondness he has developed for the pair, is that she and Neville are cool.
At Christmas, Harry invites Luna on a platonic date to the party hosted by Horace Slughorn. Despite wearing a spangled silvery dress, she looks quite nice, Harry notices, and her conversation about the Rotfang conspiracy has Harry coughing into his drink with laughter. Luna also does the Quidditch commentary for Gryffindor’s game against Hufflepuff, during which she says little about the play talking instead about “interestingly-shaped clouds” above the stadium and how nice Ginny is and referring to one of the Hufflepuff players as suffering from “Loser’s Lurgy”. Minerva McGonagall does not quite know what to do with her, but some fans find her commentary highly amusing. This wins over Ron, who remarks that Luna may be mad, but in a good way. The author noted in an interview that she “really enjoyed” writing Luna’s commentary and considered it “blinding insight”.
Bill Weasley And Fleur Delacour
At first, it seemed that Fleur was annoying and shallow, and not worthy of a Weasley. She didn’t really fit in with the Weasley women , but after Bill was attacked by Fenrir Greyback, Fleur showed her true colors: she indignantly stated that she was good-looking enough for the both of them, and that Bill’s scars showed his bravery. Props to this power couple.
Not A Peaceful Marriage
This leads me perfectly to my next point. Remember how much Harry was hounded by people after defeating Voldemort? Well, that would be going on for at least a decade. They wouldnt be able to go to the supermarket without someone asking about Voldemort.
Not to mention all the conspiracy theorists who will constantly be harassing them, claiming that Voldemort is still out there.
I dont even believe that theyd be able to drop their kids off at the Hogwarts Express in peace. That puts a lot of strain on a relationship.
Ron Weasley And Hermione Granger
Sorry to all the Harry/Hermione shippers, but Ron and Hermione were meant to be from the moment they met on the Hogwarts Express. Ron was always in someone’s shadow, but in spite of that, he: sacrificed himself in a chess game, tried to curse Draco for insulting Hermione, fiercely appreciated her intelligence and bravery , and always tried to protect her whenever he could . Hermione, on her part, always saw the good in Ron, even when he thought he was overshadowed by everyone else â plus she always went to the Burrow a little earlier than Harry, so it’s obvious that she and Ron just really liked being around one another.
