The epilogue at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows gave us a glimpse into life after the Second Wizarding War, as Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Draco see their children off to Hogwarts Express from Platform 9 ¾. Although we get a few nuggets of information such as Teddy Lupin getting up-close-and-personal to Bill and Fleurs daughter, Victoire the epilogue could never be long enough to satisfy our fascination with the characters we have grown to know and love.
But J.K. Rowling being the genius that she is, new insights and information about the Wizarding World are being revealed all the time. Harry Potter
We had to start with Harry, didnt we? We learn in the epilogue that Harry and Ginny have three children together James, Albus and Lily and that his scar hadnt pained him for the past 19 years but what else do we now know about the Boy Who Lived? It has since been revealed that Harry went on to become an Auror and then the youngest ever head of department, aged 26. In fact, both he and Ron were instrumental in transforming the Auror department at the Ministry of Magic all without ever finishing school!

The Department of Magical Games and Sports, seen as the most relaxed department , deals with organising sports events like the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament. Ludo Bagman used to be the Head of Department here, but his gambling problem forced him to flee from Goblin creditors. The department is located on the seventh level of the Ministry of Magic, and includes the British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters, Official Gobstones Club, and the Ludicrous Patents Office â other sports and games-related aspects of the Harry Potter world.
Harry And Dudley Maintained A Relationship:
The once-estranged cousins made amends after Dudleys admission that Harry wasnt a waste of space and remained on Christmas-card terms as they grew older. However, their relationship never blossomed into a true friendship. They would visit more out of a sense of duty and sit in silence so that their children could see their cousins, Rowling told fans during a 2007 Q& A.

Alice And Frank Longbottom
Alice and Frank Longbottom are grouped here because practically everything that’s known about them applies to both, including their great power. As Aurors and members of the Order of the Phoenix, Alice and Frank were strong enough to defy Voldemort three times. They fought and captured many Death Eaters, and managed to survive the First Wizarding War.

The Ministers for Magic who appear in the Harry Potter series, such as Cornelius Fudge and Rufus Scrimgeour, tend to act in a somewhat patronising manner towards the Muggle Prime Minister.

Kingsley Shacklebolt Is A Deeply Loyal Character
A character whose loyalties lie in the right place, Kingsley Shacklebolt is a wizard who consistently made the right choices. He worked as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic, but upon hearing the news of Voldemort’s return, he joined the Order of the Phoenix.
Though he stayed at his job in the Ministry, he worked with the Order and gave the Order information and updates on news about Voldemort and the Death Eaters. He was also on the front lines during the Battle of Hogwarts. He is definitely a character that could pull his own weight in Marvel.
Frank And Alice Longbottom
Nevilles parents are two notorious Aurors. During the First Wizarding War, they were well-respected members of the Order of the Phoenix and used their training as Aurors to take on Voldemorts Death Eaters. They eventually went up against Bellatrix Lestrange, who tortured them with the Cruciatus Curse.
This caused Frank and Alice to lose all of their memories and take on irreparable spell damage. Neville frequently visits the two former Aurors at St. Mungos Hospital even though they cant remember their son. Neville followed in his parents footsteps after the Second Wizarding War and became an Auror for a time before settling on being a Herbology teacher at Hogwarts.

Hesphaestus Gore Was Dedicated To His Job
This wizard is likely one of the earliest Auror’s in the history of the Ministry of Magic. Now, while there is not much known about him, but he certainly made a difference in the wizarding community.
And the drive he had to make that difference is definitely something that could transfer into the Marvel Universe very well. For instance, Hesphaestus put an end to the Goblin Wars and reinforced the wizard prison, Azkaban, to make sure no one gets out. It is that kind of dedication to his job that shows that Hesphaestus Gore would do well in Marvel.

Skilled Empath Merge At The Opera
What would an amusement park vacation be like without seeing an opera? Fortunately, my family didnt have to find out. The City Walk movie theater had a performance of Il Trovatore, the Verdi opera put on by the Metropolitan Opera and screened all over America.
The most amazing thing about this absolutely amazing performance was to do a quick aura reading of the four main soloists. Like being a birdwatcher, I suppose. You wait until just the right time, say after Sondra Radvanovsky has just sung another roller-coastery, impossible, gorgeous aria. The audience at the Met applauds, which slows her down. Not only is that about as close as Ill get to singing professionally in this lifetime. There is such bliss, having just done world class singing. And the Olympic feat is over, totally perfect, and applause lights up your scoreboard for a solid what, three minutes?

Mysterious to me. Oddly, the only people who watched the whole opera, this particular Orlando performance on May 18, were Mitch, Matt, and me. Three other people saw, at most, half of the opera.

Training Takes Three Years
The role of an Auror is comparable to that of a police officer or, more fittingly, a special agent within a program like the FBI. So training to become an Auror is a rigorous endeavor. If prospective witches and wizards meet the academic qualifications, they move on to background checks. If they pass, they can be accepted into Auror training which starts with a series of aptitude tests. They have to prove their skill in magical combat and even criminal investigations.
Aurors have to be able to perform well under pressure, which will be evaluated during their three-year training program. Any outperforming abilities such as being able to produce a Patronus or Animagi skills are taken into consideration as well. However, as noted by McGonagall, they dont accept many people. At the time of Harrys inquiry, there had not been anyone admitted into the program for over three years.
