We would rank Escape from Gringotts three out of five Dementors in terms of scariness. Universal has tried hard to make this physically tame for the younger Potter fans but still thrilling in terms of the simulated effects. With armored trolls, fire-breathing dragons, and Lord Voldemort himself all zipping around you every which way, its a bit on the over-stimulating side, especially for the little ones.
Please note that the tour through Gringotts Bank wont be scary at all. With child swap available, its worth bringing little ones for the queue experience alone while the older members of your party enjoy the full ride.

Can You Wear A Harry Potter Cloak Inside Of Universal Studios
This question is common because of Universal Orlando Resorts costume policy, which can ban certain items from entering the park. Lucky for you, all Hogwarts alumni are allowed to wear their Universal Studios Ravenclaw robes or Universal Studios Slytherin robe at the parks! You arent restricted to only wearing your Harry Potter robes inside of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter either. Just know due to safety reasons, you may have to remove your Universal Hogwarts robes on certain rides.

The second land added to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is Diagon Alley . If you are entering from the front of the park walk straight until you hit the Revenge of the Mummu attraction and make a right, then continue until you see the Knight Bus. The area outside of Diagon Alley is themed to fill like London, and you will need to make your way through the brick wall until it opens up as Diagon Alley.
Be prepared especially if you are a die hard Harry Potter fan as the attention to detail is unmatched in Diagon Alley. You will be in the middle of shops and cooked buildings, as well a fire breathing dragon nestled over Gringotts Bank!
