|Dobby enters the Room of Requirement during one of the DA lessons and finds Harry, tugging at his robes to get attention. His eyes are wide with terror, and he is shaking. He begins to warn Harry about something but pauses to punish himself as the house-elves have been told not to mention anything he runs head-first into the wall of the Room of Requirement, but merely bounces off the stone, protected by the eight wooly hats he is wearing. Dobby struggles to tell Harry that Professor Umbridge has found out about the DA, and that she is on her way to the Room of Requirement, forcing Harry to guess most of the details. Dobby is picked up by Harry as the students run towards the exit, only set down once they reach the back of the queue to leave he is ordered to go back to the kitchens, and to lie if he is asked whether he warned Harry.|

Freshwater West Beach can be found in the county of Pembrokeshire in the West of Wales along its gorgeous coastline.
Pembrokeshire is HUGE and Freshwater West can be found by visiting the South West area. Its a section of coastline owned by the National Trust.
Its nearby the Green Bridge of Wales, Bosherton and just a few miles from the town of Pembroke. So, if youre based in the town, you can visit easily from there.
To put it into perspective this is around two and a half hours from Cardiff and forty minutes from Tenby.

Voldemort: Dead By His Own Curse
This is a relatively minor grievance when compared with the others, but in keeping with the theme of Harry and his friends always ensuring their hands remain clean, Harry Potter doesnt even kill Voldemort at the end. Now, in some stories, the hero refusing to kill the villain is in service to some theme or other, but not here.
Voldemorts death is of the sort wed expect of a Disney villain. In other words, the hero doesnt have to get his hands dirty, because Voldemort does himself in. This blatantly contradicts the prophecy that the whole story is built on:
The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches
born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies
and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not
and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives
the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Notice the part where one of them has to die at the hand of the other there? Yeah Voldemort ties by his own curse, so thats out the window.
Rowling Responds To Backlash
In response to the ensuing criticism she received, Rowling claimed that TERF was a misogynistic slur. This coming from the woman who liked a tweet calling trans women men in dresses. The tweet is as follows:
Feminazi, TERF, bitch, witch.
Times change. Woman-hate is eternal.
J.K. Rowling on Twitter
Just days before I wrote this, in June 2020, J.K. Rowling doubled down on all her transphobic rubbish. In the following two tweets, the creator of Harry Potter tries to justify her biological essentialism with what she seems to think is feminism. Notice how she keeps using the misleading and irrelevant phrase Sex is real:
If sex isnt real, theres no same-sex attraction. If sex isnt real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isnt hate to speak the truth.
The idea that women like me, whove been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because theyre vulnerable in the same way as women ie, to male violence hate trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences is a nonsense.

|Dobby visits Harry in the dormitory on Christmas morning. He stands on Harry’s bed, so close they are almost nose to nose, until Harry awakes. Dobby jumps back when Harry yells at him, and stands anxiously next to Harry’s bed, waiting for Harry to get up. He is thrilled to receive a pair of socks from Harry, but is confused as to why the shop gave Harry two of the same design. He happily accepts a pair of violet socks from Ron so that he can mix them up, as well as the hand-knitted jumper that Mrs Weasley made for Ron. Dobby gives Harry a pair of socks for Christmas, one bright red with a broomstick pattern, the other green with a pattern of Snitches. He made the socks himself, buying the wool with his wages. Dobby was the resident house-elf of Malfoy Manor, serving Lucius Malfoy, his wife Narcissa, and their only son Draco. They treated Dobby with unkindness and cruelty, often reminding him to perform extra punishments on himself when he did something disagreeable to them. The Malfoys were harsh and abused Dobby often. Dobby was threatened many times during his time serving the Malfoy family and told Harry Potter that he was accustomed to death threats, because he received them ‘five times a day’ from the Malfoys. Though he always did as he was told, he knew that their behaviour was wrong and he longed to be free of them.

How Harry Potter Avoided A Dobby Plot Hole In Deathly Hallows
Theres a belief that Dobby broke a promise when he saved Harry Potters life at Malfoy Manor, but that wasnt necessarily the case. Heres why.
There was always a thought that Dobby the house-elf broke his promise to Harry Potter when he saved the wizards life toward the end of the series, but that wasnt necessarily the case. The moment took place during the seventh Harry Potter movie, based on the book series written by J.K. Rowling. Dobby was one of the most beloved characters to come out of the franchise and his death was one of the most tragic moments in the series, both in page and on screen.
Dobby first appeared in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as a house-elf that served the Malfoy family. He was treated cruelly by his masters to the point that he made an effort to betray them. After learning about the plot that involved Lord Voldemort and the Chamber of Secrets, Dobby visited Harry and warned the boy not to return to Hogwarts. The young wizard didnt listen but Dobby effectively looked out for him. Harry eventually tricked Lucius Malfoy into setting Dobby free and the elf ended up getting a paid post at Hogwarts and assisted his friend on multiple occasions.

Start Out At The Car Park By The Caf Mr Food Van
So, once youve parked up at the car park in Freshwater West. Youll need to start heading towards the beach.
I wouldnt personally walk on the single track road behind the dunes. Id head down the laid out pathway towards the sandy coastline.
Freshwater West beach is a half pebbled beached and half sand beach. So, you will need to tread over quite a few large pebbles to actually make it onto the soft sand.
I made the mistake of climbing onto the sand dunes straight away. This was because it was sunset and I wanted to make a beeline for Dobbys grave before it got dark.
I thought it would save some time. But, I would avoid doing that at all costs.
It ended up with me climbing over mountains of sand and made the walk twice as long as it should be.
Bellatrix And The Art Of Emotional Payoff
After doing almost nothing of note, Bellatrix is killed by Molly Weasley, whose son Fred was killed shortly before. This would have been a weighty payoff had Bellatrix been the one to kill Fred, but he died in an explosion presumably caused by an unnamed Death Eater.
Of all the characters who have a grudge against Bellatrix, not one of them duels her in the final battle. Theres no buildup and no payoff. In the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, when the Witch-King killed Théoden, theres a reason it was Éowyn and Merrynot Pippin and Beregondwho battled the Lord of the Nine, avenging the king.
Éowyn was Théodens niece, and Merry had formed a bond with the old man. In other words, they were both invested in what happened to Théoden. The impact would have been greatly diminished otherwise.
As far as I could tell, Bellatrix was just another Death Eater from Mollys perspective. Imagine if Bellatrix had duelled Neville, Hermione, or even Harry! Shed wronged each of them in various ways, torturing Hermione and robbing both Neville and Harry of the people who would have been their parental figures.
All Bellatrix Lestrange did to Molly was taunt her about how her son was killed . Also, Molly rips off one of the Alien films

When He Redecorated The Room Of Requirement With Harrys Face
Harry arrived early in the Room of Requirement for the last DA meeting before the holidays and was very glad he had, because when the torches burst into flame he saw that Dobby had taken it upon himself to decorate the place for Christmas. He could tell the elf had done it, because nobody else would have strung a hundred golden baubles from the ceiling, each showing a picture of Harrys face and bearing the legend: HAVE A VERY HARRY CHRISTMAS!Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Incredible punning skills and a masterclass in interior design. Oh Dobby, we wish we could have a friend like you.
When He Wore All Of The Hats
Dobby the house-elf was standing beside the table on which Hermione had left half a dozen of her knitted hats. His large, pointed ears were now sticking out from beneath what looked like all the hats Hermione had ever knitted he was wearing one on top of the other, so that his head seemed elongated by two or three feet, and on the very topmost bobble sat Hedwig, hooting serenely and obviously cured.Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Picturing the image of Dobby wearing all of Hermiones hats in one go is just… perfect. It kind of ruined Hermiones whole S.P.E.W. initiative, but at least Dobby was happy. And Hedwig really was the cherry on top.

Because of this, he is unable to name the culprit behind the supposed plans, and causes himself bodily harm instead.
