In September of 2019, J.K. Rowling sent into a meltdown by posting a cryptic in relation to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This looked to be the starting point for the rumors of a film. With no other caption, there was no further elaboration as to what the tweet actually meant. Strangely quiet on as of late, J.K. Rowling still hasn’t confirmed nor denied whether this was a tease that a film was on its way. However, it had been announced that, despite the hype, J.K. Rowling had refuted any claims about a new film in the works, which the tweet might of falsely created. While there were whispers, many believed it was simply to celebrate a new logo for The Cursed Child production.
On the other hand, looking at the evidence, We Got This Covered has made some major predictions before, that have all been correct. They reported that a new Ace Ventura film was in the works a claim that has since gathered speed and is looking very likely to come to fruition. Fantastic Beasts 3 will now be calledFantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and will now open not on July 15, 2022 but on April 15, 2022. The title news merely suggests that they are leaning into the Harry Potter nostalgia, and that Jude Laws young Dumbledore will likely be a co-lead alongside Eddie Redmaynes Newt Scamander as they team up to take out the diabolical Gellert Grindelwald .
To be fair, as the last film was called The Crimes of Grindelwald, it makes some sense for the next one to be titled the X of Character Y. If this pattern to continues, we can expect the fourth film to be called, I dunno, The Pontifications of Barebone or something to that effect. Alas, well probably never get one titled Fantastic Beasts and How to Cook Them. As for the release date change, thats a little trickier.
That mid-July slot was Warner Bros. favorite mid-summer release date for years. They had huge openings and leggy runs for the likes of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter parts 5, 6 and 8, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, The Conjuring and Dunkirk. Its also now crowded out by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on July 8, Jordan Peeles Nope on July 22 and Black Adam on July 29.

Filming might have finished, but we’re no closer to any footage from Fantastic Beasts 3 yet, we’re afraid.
The first teaser trailer for The Crimes of Grindelwald was released in March 2018, eight months ahead of the sequel’s release. A similar timeline would put the first trailer for the threequel landing in December 2021.
That’s speculative for now, but Warner Bros does have some big movies later this year, including The Matrix 4, that it could be promoted with.

In February 2020, Jim Kay that he was hard at work on illustrating The Order of the Phoenix but the process was moving slower than he had hoped due to his constant battle with depression. Hogwarts Legacy Release Date
It turns out we muggles will have to wait a little longer for our own Hogwarts Legacy to begin. As shared from the official Hogwarts Legacy twitter account, the game will now come out in 2022, so that the studio can give “the game the time it needs.”
That’s industry talk for “we need to make sure it’s not a buggy mess, where the jokes about how unstable it is become bigger than the game itself,” as happened with Cyberpunk 2077.

Originally, as we learned from the first trailer at the Sony PS5 event confirmed what was already reported by Bloomberg, Hogwarts Legacy was to come out in 2021 . The game was expected to make its public debut in summer 2020 at E3, but that event was cancelled.

In that Bloomberg story, Jason Schreier confirmed the Harry Potter RPG’s existence with two people currently working on the game which is being developed by Avalanche Software, a Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment-owned studio.

In addition to Fantastic Beasts 3 there is reportedly another Harry Potter project in the works, instead of taking a theatrical route, this one — if it actually pans out — will be coming to HBO Max in the form of a television series. In January 2021, The Hollywood Reporter released a report stating that very early discussions were happening for a live-action series set within the Harry Potter universe, but there has been no word as to what the story will be about or even a confirmation from Warner Bros, who has denied that any Harry Potter TV show is currently in development at the studio or HBO Max

In March 2011, Warner Bros. announced plans to build a tourist attraction in the United Kingdom to showcase the Harry Potter film series. The Making of Harry Potter is a behind-the-scenes walking tour featuring authentic sets, costumes and props from the film series. The attraction is located at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, where all eight of the Harry Potter films were made. Warner Bros. constructed two new sound stages to house and showcase the famous sets from each of the British-made productions, following a £100 million investment. It opened to the public in March 2012.

Is There A Trailer For Hogwarts Legacy
Yes! The game was finally revealed with a cinematic trailer during September 2020 PlayStation 5 Showcase. You can check it out for yourself below.
From the trailer, we can see that despite taking place in the late 1800s, many Hogwarts traditions are still present. For example, owls still seem to play a large role at Hogwarts. As do the haunted decor items.
We can also see Hippogriffs in the trailer, as the narrator mentions the world outside Hogwarts. Perhaps you can travel the land using flying creatures like Hippogriffs?
We also get a look at a masked person in a few shots. Like all masked people, they appear rather fearsome. Perhaps this person is the game’s villain?
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Illustrated Edition
Those of us who already own about five copies of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them found an excuse to buy one more when the fully illustrated edition was released in November 2017. The color illustrations came from artist Olivia Lomenech Gill, and used a variety of artistic techniques to depict the beasts. Nearly a year later in October 2018, fans saw the release of The Tales of Beedle the Bard: The Illustrated Edition which included masterful work by Lisbeth Zwerger who brought J.K. Rowlings collection of short stories to life in great detail.
In addition to a re-release of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, an audiobook edition for the textbook was released the same day the new edition of the book came out. Eddie Redmayne narrates the book. Normally, we would’ve hoped that Jim Dale — narrator of the U.S. versions of the Harry Potter books — would be back for this, but having the textbook narrated by Newt Scamander himself is far too perfect to complain. Based on Audible’s page, the audiobook clocks in at just under two hours.

Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Release Dates: When Is Fantastic Beasts 3 Released
Long story short, Fantastic Beasts 3 will be released in cinemas on .
Originally, it was thought the threequel would repeat the two-year release gap of the first two movies and come out on November 20, 2020. This date was never set in stone, though and when production was pushed back by Warner Bros, we knew that 2020 wasn’t going to happen for the threequel.
It was then set for November 12, 2021. However, just when filming was due to begin in March 2020, the pandemic saw the start of production delayed until September. And then came the exit of Depp, leading to the movie being pushed back to July 2022.
Afteranother production delay in early February 2021, filming wrapped later that month according to composer James Newton Howard: “I know that David Yates has finished shooting, and I’m chomping at the bit to get going.”
So, hopefully, with filming done , the current 2022 release date will stick and there will be no further release delays.
The fourth and fifth movies have never had release dates, but we originally assumed we could expect them in November 2022 and November 2024, which now definitely won’t be the case.
There’s no guarantee that the third movie will be a hit, so it could well be that it marks the end of the Fantastic Beasts series. So we could be waiting a while to see if we’ll get a fourth and fifth movie.
Assuming they do happen though, don’t expect a fourth movie anytime before 2024.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them arrived in theaters on November 18, 2016. The film is both a spinoff and a prequel to the Harry Potter stories. It centers on Newt Scamander , the wizard and magizoologist responsible for penning the titular textbook that would go on to be studied by Harry, Ron and Hermione, not to mention countless other Hogwarts students. The story is set in the 1920s, seventy years before Harry Potter attended Hogwarts. Fantastic Beasts follows Newt as he visits New York for what’s supposed to be a short stay, but ends up stuck there for longer when his collection of beasts gets loose in the city.
Magic and mayhem ensue, as do the introduction of numerous key characters, including former MACUSA auror Tina , her legilimens sister Queenie , No-maj Jacob , MACUSA auror Percival Graves and Credence Barebone . The film also features a crucial appearance by Gellert Grindelwald .
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is now available on home video.
