Producer David Heyman has said in interviews that Spielberg opted to direct the film A.I. Artificial Intelligence instead.

He forces himself to forget the sight, but upon arriving in town, he notices large groups of people wearing cloaks. He eavesdrops on them and hears them talking about the Potters and their son Harry.
