Bellatrix Lestrange, a notorious Death Eater
Bellatrix Lestrange was a Death Eater who fought in both Wizarding Wars. She was fanatically loyal to Lord Voldemort and so, although acknowledging Dumbledore as a very powerful wizard, considered her master as the superior being. Bellatrix was among the few people who knew of the plan to assassinate Dumbledore, and that Draco Malfoy had been assigned the task of murdering him. She participated in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, and reacted to Dumbledore’s death with utter glee. Bellatrix did not live to discover that her initial suspicions of Snape’s loyalty had been correct, dying during a ferocious duel with Molly Weasley. Dumbledore recognised Bellatrix as an incredibly dangerous and sadistic Death Eater, commenting to Severus Snape that, given the choice, he would prefer to die a quick and clean death rather than fall prey to Bellatrix who tended to “play with her food”.
Bellatrix also killed many of Dumbledore’s friends, such as Sirius Black, Dobby the house-elf, and Nymphadora Tonks.

What Did Dumbledore Teach In Fantastic Beasts
During the time of the events taking place during the Fantastic Beasts franchise, Dumbledore was teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts. The subject is a core subject in both Hogwarts and Ilvermorny. It is crucial for any witch and wizard since it provides a base for Defence against Dark Arts, creatures, curses, hexes, and jinxes as well as dueling.
One particularly memorable moment from this time period is his lesson about boggarts with Newt Scamanders class.
Dumbledor expressed on multiple occasions that he was extremely surprised when the boys boggart turned into a desk. In 1913 one of his students, Leta Lestrange was at a center of an issue involving a Jarvey.
The issue in question involved a case of illegal possession of the animal in question which caused endangerment to it and other people. The issue fell under the definition of a violation of Animal Welfare Laws 101/304.
Because the offense was so serious, the headmaster was forced to expel Newt from the school, but Dumbledore was able to convince him to allow Newt to hold onto his wand.

When Grindelwald steals the Elder Wand around a decade later Dumbledore goes after him and bests him, and, becoming master of the wand himself, returns Grindelwald to his homeland where he resides in the wizard prison Nurmengard before eventually being killed by Voldemort.
“I always thought of Dumbledore as gay.., Rowling told New Yorks Carnegie Hall at a reading of her seventh Potter book. Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was.

Albus Had A Romantic Relationship With Gellert Grindelwald
According to Entertainment Weekly, at a press event in 2007, not long after the “Deathly Hallows” book was released, Rowling said she “always saw Dumbledore as gay.”
This was the first glimpse she gave fans into any sort of LGBTQ representation in the Wizarding World.
More recently, during a feature, originally unearthed by Radio Times, on the “Crimes of Grindelwald” Blu-ray disc, Rowling expanded on their relationship, calling it “intense,” “passionate,” and “sexual.”
This news was met with backlash from fans, who felt the author should have more clearly drawn out this relationship. LGBTQ communities specifically took issue with the fact that this part of Dumbledore’s identity was left out of the “Fantastic Beasts” movies even after Rowling revealed he was gay.

Aberforth May Not Be His Only Brother
Albus’s brother Aberforth makes a brief appearance in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and gets formally introduced in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”
He was instrumental in helping Harry, Ron, and Hermione sneak into Hogwarts for the series’ final battle.
But it may come as a shock that there might be another mysterious Dumbledore brother who wasn’t mentioned in the original series.
During the climax of the 2018 film “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” Gellert Grindelwald tells the orphan Credence Barebone that his real name is Aurelius Dumbledore and he’s a long-lost brother of Albus, Aberforth, and Ariana.
The reveal comes at the end of the film and will most likely be expanded upon in subsequent sequels, but for now it’s hard to determine whether Grindelwald was telling the truth or manipulating both Credence and the audience.
Dumbledore Might Have Been A Great Wizard But His Hunger For Power And Control Kept Him From Being Truly Good
At the end of the series, Dumbledore admits to Harry that power is his ultimate weakness.
He was always conscious of it, and he feared that power had the potential to corrupt him beyond help. That’s why he never accepted the Ministry of Magic position even after it was offered several times.
Although it’s refreshing that he realized his shortcomings, he never quite grasped their impact. He had his eyes fixed on a goal and destroyed many lives in pursuit of it.
Harry was a loyal soldier he was “Dumbledore’s man through and through,” and the headmaster took advantage of that.
Dumbledore knew that nothing bound the soul more surely than love a lesson he sought to teach Harry throughout his life and so he used Harry’s love for him as a weapon just as he used Snape’s love for Lily to persuade him to do his bidding.
Some might argue that Dumbledore was doing what had to be done to defeat Voldemort he was doing what any good general of war would do. But he constantly crossed the line between a stoic general and a scheming conspirator by never giving his followers enough information to make a free choice.
He gave everyone only enough to get them to do what he wanted.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
Rowling used several chapters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to reveal two major details concerning Dumbledore: his early life and his death. The book introduces his parents, Percival and Kendra Dumbledore, as well as his little sister, Ariana his brother, Aberforth Dumbledore, was mentioned in previous books. At six years old, Ariana was attacked by three Muggle boys who had witnessed her performing magic. Because of this attack, Ariana was seriously traumatised and never able to control her magic again. Dumbledore had another Hallow in his keeping since the death of James Potter: the Invisibility Cloak, which he had borrowed to examine. When James died, Dumbledore kept the cloak and decided to pass it on to Harry, James’ son.

It is widely known that Dumbledore was offered the position of Minister For Magic and turned it down, taking on the position of Hogwarts headmaster instead. Despite this, the incompetent Fudge often sought Dumbledores advice.

The politics of Harry Potter is tumultuous at the best of times, so the fact that Dumbledore had no interest in politics and frequently governed his life based on what was best for his students was a good thing for the school.

Before Becoming Headmaster Dumbledore Taught Transfiguration But He May Have Also Instructed Another Subject
Years before becoming Hogwarts’ headmaster, Dumbledore was a professor at the school. According to the “Harry Potter” book series, he taught Transfiguration and was a regular writer for the magazine Transfiguration Today.
There is ample evidence that he’s skilled at the craft for example, he was able to make statues come to life and turn Nagini into a rope during the final battle in “Order of the Phoenix.”
In 2018, Jude Law, who plays young Dumbledore in the “Fantastic Beasts” films, told Entertainment Weekly that the professor “doesn’t teach Transfiguration” at that point in the series.
After the release of “The Crimes of Grindelwald,” many fans and media outlets speculated that Dumbledore taught Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts in that storyline.
Headmaster Alaric Saltzman Mcgonagall Style
Okay, so we know that McGonagall became headmaster after the Battle of Hogwarts and led the school for a number of years before retiring to a quieter life. She also was interim Headmaster a couple of times when Dumbledore would leave for significant periods of time. We didnt see much of her in this role, but based on how she supervised students in her classes and in her role as head of Gryffindor house, we can imagine how her ruling style would be different than Dumbledores.
First of all, shes much more strict about rules than Dumbledore, so I expect that while Harry, Ron, and Hermione came off scott-free with Dumbledore all those years, McGonagall would have had them cleaning things the muggle way for their incessant rule breaking, even if they had good reasons.
Alaric has seen how being lax about rules has affected people he loves, after all, Damon forced him to break or bend his own rules for nearly eight seasons. He knows what comes from bending the rules, so maybe he looks on his time as Headmaster as a time to instill strict discipline, hopefully instilling a healthy fear of consequences into the students in his charge.

What Is Draco Malfoys Job After Hogwarts

He Loves Me He Loves Me Not
Given the revelation about his sexuality, it is widely believed that Dumbledore was in love with his closest friend, Gellert Grindelwald. There is no proof that Grindelwald ever reciprocated Albus feelings though, and it has been argued that Grindelwald could never have loved anyone, because all he cared about was power.
