Don't Miss

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Real

Harry potter – born for this

Deathly Hallows broke sales records upon its publication, outperforming previous games in the Harry Potter franchise. This is the darkest movie, well, movies. Death, growing up, being alone, and isolated are motifs that perfectly capture the ages of the characters.

The novel was mostly well-received by reviewers, and it won the Colorado Blue Spruce Book Award in 2008, as well as the American Library Associations Best Book for Young Adults award due to the fact it being more popular among teenagers because of the ages of the characters.

The book was adapted into a film in two installments, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in November 2010 and Part 2 in July 2011.

Many other analyses of concepts in the books have been established by academics and writers, some more nuanced than others and some having political subtexts.

Normalcy, tyranny, survival, and overcoming imposing odds have all been identified as themes that run throughout the series.

The events of Deathly Hallows took place between 1997 and 1998. This did not affect the ages of characters as much as the real-life ages of actors.

Parts 1 and 2 were shot back-to-back, beginning on the 19th of February 2009 and ending on the 12th of June 2010. Part 1 was released on November 11, 2010, and Part 2 was released on July 7, 2011. Still, the real-life ages of the actors tell a story of the period in which the movies were shot.

But how did the actors ages influence them after the biggest franchise?

Harrys Birthday Is July 31 1980

We get the year from a feature on JK Rowlings old website, Wizard of the Month. Although the site is down, the HP Lexicon got images from every entry. Harrys tells us he was born in 1980:

The books establish that Harrys birthday falls at the end of July. He actually shares a birthday with JK Rowling. In Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, at the end of first week at Hogwarts, when Harry meets Hagrid, he tries to talk to him about the Gringotts break-in, saying that it happened on the same day as his birthday I.e. July 31. I also found confirmation from JKR herself, in a tweet earlier this year:

For example, on their birthday this year, she said on Twitter:

Thank you so much to everyone wishing Harry and me a happy birthday! I’m having a wonderful time in the sun with family and friends. xxxxx

Or depending on the book you look at

First the day and month:

While its a well known fact for Harry Potter enthusiasts, most people dont know this. J.K. Rowling, the billionaire authoress of Harry Potter, was born on July 31st, 1965 near Bristol England. Rowling decided an appropriate date for the birthday of her main character was the same as her own1.

1JKR Birthday

The year is a wee bit more difficult:

But hold on!

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which Harry helped celebrate Nearly Headless Nick’s deathday anniversary on October 31, 1992. Harry was 12 at that time. So this would mean that Harry was born in 1980.

The Harry Potter books and its subsequent films have become a staple within pop culture. Muggles worldwide are likely celebrating the birthday of the series’ fictionalized wizard Tuesday.

Harry James Potter was born on July 31, 1980. While the series doesn’t list his exact birth date, evidence indicating Harry’s age first surfaced in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets when he celebrated the deathday anniversary of Nearly Headless Nick. This celebration fell on October 31, 1992, when Harry was 12. If Harry existed outside the pages of author J.K. Rowling’s novels and off the big screen, he would be 38 years old. He’d likely celebrate this momentous occasion with friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in addition to his wife Ginny Weasley and their children Albus Severus, James Sirius and Lily Luna.

Rowling shares a birthday with the half-blood wizard. Her birth year, however, is 1965. She’s now 53.

Rowling’s first conceptualized Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 1990 while experiencing train delays from Manchester to London King’s Cross. The book was initially rejected 12 times before Bloomsbury accepted the work in 1996. It later hit shelves in the United Kingdom on June 26, 1997. The book found its way to the United States in 1998 through Scholastic. In America, the title was changed to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Hold On Harry Potter Cant Be In His Mid

Pure, Half, Or Muggle

He can indeed. Harry James Potter was born to James and Lily Potter on Thursday 31st July 1980. No, theres no mention of the exact year in the book, but thanks to Nearly Headless Nicks Death Day, fans were able to work it out.

In Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, the trio are celebrating Nearly Headless Nicks 500th Deathday the anniversary of the fateful day when his head was nearly chopped off on 31st October. Nick says he was almost decapitated in 1492, so if we count forward 500 years it means Harry was 12 years old in October 1992.

Count back 12 years and youll find yourself in 1980.

Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone Real

The events of Philosophers Stone take place between 1991 and 1992. Filming began on September 29, 2000, and continued until March 23, 2001. Its release was scheduled for November 4, 2001.

The main character, Harry Potter, was 11 years old during the events of the first book/movie. Since the ages of characters did not differ in the books and movies, it is safe to say how old a certain character was at what time.

However, the actors were sometimes a bit older or younger. So, for example, Daniel Radcliffe was 11 years old during the filming of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.

Many influenced the young British actors from the Potter films influenced Radcliffe, maybe none more so than Gary Oldman, who played Sirius Black in many of the films, most notably the last, 2004s Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Surprisingly, Radcliffe considers the film to be the time he learned he liked acting.

He claims that his parents constantly reminded him that he was not obligated to just keep doing this.

But as he grew in confidence, Radcliffe started to see his active creativity as his most valuable quality as an actor.

Ron Weasley, Harrys best friend often seems less mature than Harry or Hermione. However, he was 11, going on 12 at the time. His actor was a bit older and was exactly a year older than his character. So, Rupert Grint was 12 at the time of filming.

Its plot revolves around Harry Potters third year at Hogwarts, where he learns that an inmate named Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and plans to kill him.

With the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the output of the Harry Potter films was moved to an eighteen-month schedule.

Cuarón was chosen from a shortlist that featured .

The cast of previous installments returned for the film, with Gary Oldman, David Thewlis, and Emma Thompson joining the cast. Due to Richard Harriss death in 2002, it was Michael Gambons first performance as Professor Albus Dumbledore.

HOW OLD IS HARRY POTTER? (When Was Harry Potter Born?)

Harry Potter’s famous July 31st birthday came just over a year before the tragic murdering of his parents, Lily and James Potter, at the hands of Voldemort on Halloween night, 1981, both of whom died at the age of 21.

Both born in 1960, sharing a calendar year with the likes of the aforementioned Snape and Lupin, Lily was the older of the two, born at the end of January while James’ birthday helped usher in the springtime two months later.

Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone

Harry first appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Starting in 1981, when Harry was just one year old, his parents, James and Lily, were murdered by the most powerful Dark Wizard, Lord Voldemort . He attempted to kill Harry too, but was unsuccessful and only left a lightning bolt shaped scar on Harry’s forehead. Voldemort’s body was destroyed, but his soul was not. Harry later learns that the reason why he survived was that his mother sacrificed herself for him, and her love was something that Voldemort could not destroy.

According to Rowling, fleshing out this back story was a matter of reverse planning: “The basic idea Harry … didn’t know he was a wizard … and so then I kind of worked backwards from that position to find out how that could be, that he wouldn’t know what he was… That’s… When he was one year old, the most evil wizard for hundreds and hundreds of years attempted to kill him. He killed Harry’s parents, and then he tried to kill Harryhe tried to curse him…. Harry has to find out, before we find out. And for some mysterious reason, the curse didn’t work on Harry. So he’s left with this lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead, and the curse rebounded upon the evil wizard who has been in hiding ever since”.

How Old Is Harry Potter Today The ‘boy’ Wizards Real Age Revealed

Harry Potter, the boy who lived. How old is he? He cant be more than 25 now, right? He was 17 when the series ended with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but who remembers what year that came out? To add to the confusion, the books are obviously older than the movies, which ended with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011.

Its turns out that Harry Potter turned 35 Friday. As Potterheads know, he also shares his birthday with English author J.K. Rowling, the creator of the beloved book-turned-movie series.

To explain why hes 35 Friday, we take a trip back in time. The first Harry Potter book was published in June 1997, and Rowling said Harry was 10 at that time. However, Rowling started to write the series seven years earlier, in 1990, which means Harry was born in 1980. The author wrote the novels to be set in the ’90s, a fact most fans dont know since they became widely popular in the 2000s, and even more so after the first movie debuted in 2001.

Rowling gave an update on the wizard last year, in case anyone doubted Harrys real age. She took to Pottermore, an interactive website for Potterheads, which allows people to submerge themselves into the world of witchcraft and wizardry without leaving their houses.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire Real

born that way

The activities of Goblet of Fire took place between 1994 and 1995. Filming took place between June 25th, 2004, and a date I cannot recall, but it was a very long film.

We can estimate that post-production took 6 months because that is how long the last one took, so shooting finished in May 2005. On November 6, 2005, it was finally released. This is the first movie in which we see the darker theme. After all, our characters are now in puberty and are showing angst.

The film is the first in the series to be rated PG-13 in the United States and 12A in the United Kingdom. The production began in early 2004. Leavesden Film Studios was used to film the Hogwarts scenes.

Five days after its debut, the film had earned more than US$102 million at the North American box office, making it the third-highest first-weekend haul for a Harry Potter film, behind only Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.

Goblet of Fire had an enormously profitable box office run, grossing $896 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2005 and the sixth-highest-grossing film in the Harry Potter franchise.

Special Effects In The Films Ranged From Green Screens To Animatronics

From Quidditch sequences to the flying books in Hogwarts’ library, green-screen technology played an essential part in bringing the magic of the “Harry Potter” universe to the big screen.

Not every special effect, however, was added post-production. Animatronics were used for creatures such as Professor Sprout’s baby mandrakes and the “Monster Book of Monsters.” There was also an animatronic Buckbeak used for close-up shots of the Hippogriff.

Live Action Television Series

On 25 January 2021, a live action television series was reported to have been in early development at HBO Max.
