Why Harry Potter Is So Good

J is one of the main reasons the franchise continues to grow despite its many ups and downs. A little bit of herself by Rowling herself. In one of her books, she managed to capture the hearts of readers everywhere through a magical world. Also, her characters were believable to the end of the story since they had enough personality to appeal to the reader.

How He Looks In The Films

Daniel Radcliffe certainly looks the part of Harry with one minor exception. His Harry has blue eyes, while the books tell us time and time again of Harrys green eyes just like his mothers. Theres a pretty simple reason for this, though. Radcliffe, who has blue eyes, couldnt wear green contact lenses, as he was allergic.

Another detail that a lot of fans wondered about was the placement of the lightning bolt scar. Although the books never specify exactly where on the forehead Harrys is we all surely pictured it being in the centre Daniel Radcliffes scar was placed to the side. But dont worry, this was all J.K. Rowlings decision, who told director Christopher Columbus to make it razor sharp, just off centre.

How Did Harry Potter Impact Your Life

I learned that Im proud of my identity from Harry Potter. My experience led me to learn that people making the best decisions are often the ones making the worst ones it was through loving those whom they meet that they can be transformed. When you live the right life, only few good friends are going to have a positive impact. A book series is but an introduction to experiencing Harry Potter.

Don’t Miss: Why Did Voldemort Want To Kill Harry Potter

Harry Potter And The Half

In the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry enters a tumultuous puberty that, Rowling says, is based on her and her younger sister’s own difficult teenage years. Rowling also made an intimate statement about Harry’s personal life: “Because of the demands of the adventure that Harry is following, he has had less sexual experience than boys of his age might have had.” This inexperience with romance was a factor in Harry’s failed relationship with Cho. Now his thoughts concern Ginny, and a vital plot point in the last chapter includes Harry ending their budding romance to protect her from Voldemort.

This book also focuses on the mysterious activities of Harry’s rival Draco Malfoy. Voldemort has coerced a frightened Malfoy into attempting to kill Dumbledore. During a duel in Moaning Myrtle‘s bathroom, Harry uses the Half-Blood Prince’s spell, Sectumsempra, on Malfoy, who suffers near-fatal injuries as a result. Harry is horrified by what he has done and also comes to feel sympathy for Draco, after learning he was forced to do Voldemort’s bidding under the threat of his and his parents’ deaths.

If youre looking for a Harry Potter-esque read for adults, this graphic novel series may not be the best fit. In addition to Maika Halfwolf, the orphaned protagonist, Maika must also contend with the near-uncontrollable power she has inside of her. It sounds like a good fit to me, what with the intricate world-building and the darkly imaginative plot.

Harry Potter In The Books: Skinny Round

Harry Potter Characters: In the Books Vs. In the Movies

Rowling introduces Harry as “small and skinny for his age. Harry had a thin face, knobbly knees, black hair and bright green eyes. He wore round glasses held together with a lot of Scotch tape… The only thing Harry liked about his own appearance was a very thin scar on his forehead that was shaped like a bolt of lightning.”

A crucial feature of the books is that Harry has Lily’s green eyes. He’s also supposed to have a much more round face and shoulder-length hair in Deathly Hallows. Apparently, he’s too busy finding Horcruxes to upkeep his hair. Though he did have enough time for drama.

I Visited The World’s Largest ‘harry Potter’ Store Here Are The Must

The world’s largest “Harry Potter” store opens in New York City this week, and the magical emporium is so much more than a place to buy merchandise.

After being delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic, the three-floor store based on the fantasy series by controversial author J.K. Rowling officially opens on Thursday.

I had a chance to visit the shop before its grand opening, and it was like stepping into a combination of a store, a museum, and the Wizarding World itself.

Read on to see what it’s like exploring the massive and magical store.

The Forbidden Forest Section Was Full Of Magical Creatures

When I got back upstairs, I headed to the Forbidden Forest area, which featured a Hagrid cut-out at the entrance.

Shoppers can measure how tall they are against the friendly half-giant, and they can even compare shoe sizes.

The rest of the section was marked by several large trees and plenty of recognizable creatures from the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” series.

There were even plush toys of Hedwig, Fawkes, and Aragog.

As I was looking around the area, I suddenly heard a loud engine sound, which an employee explained was the Weasley’s flying car that goes off every 15 minutes.

I also peered into the glasses on the Whomping Willow to find Pickett the Bowtruckle from the “Fantastic Beasts” movies.

How Voldemort Looked In The Books

While the filmmakers nailed Voldemorts incredibly pale and skull-like face, his snake-like nose, and thin lips, they didnt include his red eyes. He was also supposed to have pupils like that of a cat, rather than a human.

In the films, Voldemort is portrayed by actor Ralph Fiennes, whose eyes are blue. The filmmakers left Fiennes eyes as they are, making Voldemort look a bit more human than he was originally imagined. They also didnt completely edit out Fiennes lips, which would have also brought the character closer to his original description.

How Ron Looked In The Books

Ron Weasley as described in the books is far different than he appears on screen. First of all, Ron is described as very tall and thin. He is supposed to be one of the tallest boys in the class, but Rupert Grint is only 58.

Ron also has redder hair in the books, and freckles all across his face. Rowling has also mentioned that Ron has blue eyes. Grints eyes are more of a blueish, green hue. In the books, he also has a long nose, whereas Grints nose is pretty dainty!

As the first film, Sorcerers Stone had the challenge of adapting these characters to the big screen in a way that satisfied the imaginations of the millions who read the books. And because the choices made in the first movie would impact the seven to come, the initial casting and styling of the actors carried even more weight. But thanks to this moptop, Daniel Radcliffe is Harry Potter.
