How Do I Go About Using Early Park Admission On My Check
The answer to this question depends on whether you are staying at a Universal property or at one of the independent partner hotels.
If you are at the former and want to use Early Park Admission on your check-in day, we recommend arriving at your resort one to two hours before early entry officially starts. Although your room will most likely not be available just yet, guests may still check in to receive a room key for each member of his party, to serve as proof of your hotel stay . Leave your cell number with the front desk so that they can text you when your room is ready, and drop your bags at luggage services. What Is Universal Orlando Resort Doing For The Holidays
Over in Florida, Universal Orlando Resort will sell holiday-themed merchandise, food and beverages and be decorated in holiday cheer.
The park will turn its own The Wizarding World of Harry Potter into a winter wonderland, including the Hogwarts castle being decked out for “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” At night, the castle will show a projection show of “holiday spirit and Christmas moments” inspired by “Harry Potter.” Catch holiday-themed performances throughout Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
At Universal Islands of Adventure, catch the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a live retelling of the classic Grinch story. Seuss Landing will also feature holiday adornments.
The Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will go through the streets of the park, featuring balloons and floats, some of characters from movies like Shrek and Despicable Me. Santa Claus will also make an appearance. The parade “culminates with the lighting of the parks dazzling 80-foot Christmas Tree.”
On Dec. 3, 4, 10 and 11, Mannheim Steamroller will perform holiday hits.

How Is It Different From The Wizarding World In Orlando
Although the two themed areas have the same name there actually have substantial differences. First of all, the one in Orlando actually consists of two areas , which in turn are located in two neighboring but distinct parks , while the one in Los Angeles consists of only one area that shares similarities with the Hogsmeade in Florida. Consequently, you can understand how the Hollywood version is consequently smaller and has fewer attractions than the one in Orlando.

What If I Cant Get Early Park Admission
Guests without Early Park Admission can still get some advantage over everyone else, if theyre willing to get to the front gates just as early. If early admission is at Universal Studios Florida, team members will usually though not always start processing visitors through the turnstiles during the EPA period and allow them to queue in the front of the park, typically by Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. This enables two time-saving strategies: if Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is operational that morning, guests can actually ride it right away, before the park officially opens and then, afterwards, they can start lining up for Rip Ride Rockit, Shrek 4D, or Transformers: The Ride 3D. Considering how long Minion Mayhems line can grow as the day goes on, this can really save you a good chunk of time.

Savvy parkgoers might want to redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards and Citi ThankYou points to buy their Universal Orlando theme park admission. But, at least for now, this option may not be available when you search.
If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve, you can redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points for travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. Or, if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or the Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, you can redeem for travel through the portal at a rate of 1.25 cents per point.
Historically, Univeral Orlando tickets have often been available through the Chase travel portal at rates comparable to Universals direct pricing. However, as of writing this article, we weren’t able to find any Universal Orlando tickets bookable through the Ultimate Rewards travel portal. So, although it’s worth checking, don’t get your hopes up.
If youve got a stash of Citi ThankYou points, you can use them through the Citi ThankYou travel portal to redeem for activities, including tickets to select attractions and theme parks. However, as of writing, we didn’t find any options to redeem for Universal Orlando tickets. This may change though, so check out the Citi ThankYou portal to review your options.
