What Are The Consequences Of Time Travel In Harry Potter
Thanks to the keen wit and rule following of Hermione Granger, and with some help from Harry Potter of course, Buckbeak and Sirius Black are allowed to escape into the night. With their freedom won, and their lives spared, Sirius can now go into hiding, hoping that his name will be cleared and that things will die down enough for Harry to be able to come live with him. However, dark times wait ahead, as the course of events in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban werent changed so much as to alter historys flow too heavily.
Peter Pettigrew still escapes from captivity, and Professor Remus Lupin resigns after its revealed to the world at large that he is, in fact, a werewolf. So the world of Harry Potter keeps turning in the same orbit that we would have expected, by and large. But when it comes to Buckbeak and Sirius, those changes are definitely large enough to make all the difference, and they wouldn’t have been possible without the Time Turner.
Why Did The Time Turner Change The Events In Prisoner Of Azkaban
When Harry, Ron and Hermione were first trying to complete their task “strange” things kept happening, such as being hit with rocks, saving Buckbeak howling to distract the transformed Prof. Lupin and casting a physical stag Patronus.
It was later revealed that these were in fact caused by their future selves via use of the Time Turner to try and change how events went down.
After using the time turner, the “present” Harry and Hermione were now the ones committing these acts. The same disruptions seemingly took place, yet the timeline somehow changed.
How is this possible?
It didn’t. The same events happens both times, but since the characters did not have first hand impressions of them all the first time, the reader is let to believe that the most obvious outcome happens, i.e. Buckbeak is executed instead of Harry and Hermione travelling back in time to be two places at the same time.
Nothing changes. You seem to be focussed on the execution of Buckbeak specifically, which I guess the movies portrayed badly? Here’s the passage from the book. As you can see, they aren’t actually around to see the execution.
Later we see this scene from the other side, including the swish and thud of the axe. The very fact that the action is described using the exact same words is a clear indication that this is the same event we heard first time round.
Why Was The Time Turner Never Used Again
It seems like it would be a very helpful device.

The Ministry regulates their control and usage, to stop people mucking about with them. When the Time-Turner is first introduced, Hermione tells us that
Professor McGonagall made me swear I wouldnt tell anyone. She had to write all sorts of letters to the Ministry of Magic so I could have one. She had to tell them that I was a model student, and that Id never, ever use it for anything except my studies.

From this, we can assume that the majority, if not all, Time Turners were under Ministry license and control. . Theyre obviously a subject of intense research in the Dept. of Mysteries, as we see in OotP. In the battle to escape, the Ministry stock is apparently destroyed:
So that explains why the Time Turner couldnt be used again, from a practical standpoint.

She Bosses Ron Around
Most of what we saw of Ron and Hermione during the Harry Potter novels was her bossing Ron around. Ron would generally be rather silly, but Hermione would mainly counter that by telling him what to do.
In times when they werent butting heads, Ron would follow whatever Hermione told him to do and their dynamic generally was just this. He never complained about it other than when he was annoyed by her. Looks like he didnt mind being the less dominant one in their relationship, so who are we to complain?
Why Did Hermione Even Need A Time
So we known that Bill, Percy and Barty Crouch Jr. all got 12 O.W.L.s meaning they took all the elective subjects offered in Year 3 and studied them till Year 5. Now Hermione also picked all elective subjects meaning she was studying 12 subjects in Year 3 like them.
Now J.K. Rowling revealed on Pottermore that the Time-Turner given to Hermione was the only one to “ever” enter Hogwarts. This means that Bill, Percy and Barty Jr. managed to to go through not only their 3rd year without needing one, but also their 4th and the much tougher fifth O.W.L year.
So like I said in the title, why did Hermione no one else has ever needed one in Hogwarts to study all 12 subjects. The 3 people mentioned to have gotten 12 O.W.L.s are probably not the only ones to do so all this time in Hogwarts.

She Gets Crazy Jealous
Fleur Delacour never did anything to Hermione she never even spoke to her, but Hermione vehemently hated Fleur for no reason. That is, unless you see how obviously she was jealous that Ron was into Fleur and ignored Hermione. Discounting Fleur, Hermione still got jealous when Ron was interested in Lavender and she was left in the cold.
We didnt see how Hermione was like in a relationship, but you can bet she wasnt the cool girlfriend guys hope they can find. Hermione seems to be very possessive of who shes interested in.
She Was Happy About Breaking Ron And Lavender Up
When Lavenders interest in Ron was a mere flirtation, Hermione didnt seem happy at all. And when Ron and Lavender became an item, Hermione was completely distraught about it. Once Hermione and Ron made up from their squabble, they started spending time together again and it was because of this Lavender dumped Ron.
Rather than feeling guilty, Hermione was seen with a visible smile on her face by Harry once Ron was single again. She was inwardly happy at what had happened because of her involvement.

This is the most fitting end to Hermione’s career. After all her hard work in and out of the Ministry, it makes total sense that she became the Minister of Magic. Her Fear Of Voldemort
Hermione is a nerd who reads up on everything before she even has to deal with it. When shes introduced in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, Hermione already knows all about Voldemort and is shown to be as terrified of him as every other wizard.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
Hermione later uses Polyjuice Potion to impersonate Bellatrix when the trio attempt to steal Hufflepuff’s cup from Gringotts. She, Harry, and Ron join Dumbledore’s Army in the Battle of Hogwarts, during which Hermione destroys Hufflepuff’s cup in the Chamber of Secrets with a basilisk fang, eliminating another Horcrux. Hermione and Ron also share their first kiss during the battle. In the final battle in the Great Hall, Hermione fights Bellatrix with the help of Ginny Weasley and Luna. However, the three of them are unable to defeat Bellatrix and stop fighting her once Molly Weasley orders them to disengage.
Epilogue and later life
Nineteen years after Voldemort’s death, Hermione and Ron have two children, Rose and Hugo. Though the epilogue does not explicitly say Hermione and Ron are married, news articles and other sources treat it as a fact. The two children are named Rose Granger-Weasley and Hugo Granger-Weasley.
In Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, it is shown that Hermoine has become the Minister for Magic, succeeding Kingsley Shacklebot.

J.K Rowling confirmed that after the Deathly Hallows, Hermione returned to Hogwarts to complete her 7th year of school and took her N.E.W.T.s, also known as Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests. Getting good grades on your N.E.W.T.s is a requirement to getting a job at the Ministry of Magic, which also likely played a role in Hermione returning to school. We’d like to believe that after all those years of hard-work at Hogwarts that to simply not finish would be a tremendous let down for Hermione.
It would be awful for people to assume that her newfound celebrity was the reason behind her employment or rapid advancement within the Ministry. Hermione is the type of person who wants to earn what she gets and even though Harry became an Auror without completing his 7th year of school, Hermione would feel a bit tarnished by this fact. Harry has more practical experience than most when it comes to catching and tracking Death Eaters. After the Deathly Hallows, Kingsley Shacklebolt becomes the Minister of Magic and he was probably hard pressed to find Aurors he could trust. Plus, if you remember Dumbledore did tell Shacklebolt and Lupin that “Harry is the best hope we have. Trust him.” Dumbledore’s recommendation counts for a lot when it comes to job interviews.
