When Is The Best Time To Visit The Warner Bros Studio Tour
If I could give you on tip about visiting the Harry Potter studios it would be book EARLY.
You can only go to the Studio Tour if you have a ticket booked in advance, and at busy times of year like school holidays you will need to book several months ahead. If you cant do this, you can often get last-minute tickets from London tour companies like Superbreaks. They will sell you a ticket plus transport to the Studio Tour as a package.
If youre wondering what the best time of day is to visit, Id say the earlier the better.
The Studio Tour admits around 590 people each hour. Because people like to dawdle, not all of those people will leave in the three hours that Warner Bros expects you to spend on site. If we assume that each hour, the number of people in the tour will increase by about 100 people, there will be twice as many people on site at 4pm compared to 10am.

The Harry Potter Studios In Leavesden
The filming of all eight Harry Potter films took 10 years in total to make. The studios in Leavesden was the place where all magic happened. Thousands of props, sets, and costumes were made and collected at Leavesden. When the filming came to an end, the majority of the items were put on display for Potter fans to experience. It is breathtaking to see all the hard work and incredible detail that went into producing the Potter movies. You can walk through the sets as if you are taking part in the film, and it is very exciting.
The props that you see are the very items visible on the screen in the films. There is also a fascinating section where you can learn how the animatronics work and how the special effects were added. The attraction is a walk-through tour in low lighting. There is a lot to see at Londons Harry Potter Studio Tour.

After all this time?Always.Theres no other quote that perfectly encompasses the spirit of the world of Harry Potter. JK Rowlings fantasy book series on the Boy Who Lived is a worldwide phenomenon, humanely tackling complex subjects like love, death, loyalty, friendship, and the eternal dilemma of good vs evil.
The 8-part Harry Potter films brought Rowlings words to the silver screen, not just by bringing wholesome characters to life, but by creating elaborate, detailed sets of locations like the Great Hall and the Forbidden Forest and true-to-word costumes, along with investing in stellar artwork and special effects.
Years after the release of the final book and film in the series, the magic lives on. Fans of the series now have the opportunity to visit the famous sets and go behind-the-scenes on a Harry Potter Studio Tour at the Warner Brothers Studios in London. Have a look on Get Your Guide and simply work your way through the different operators until you can find one with a ticket for the date that you want. Simple and oh so crafty *cackles uncontrollably in the manner of Bellatrix Lestrange*.

Continuing on past the crew displays, youll start to get a sense of just how much this first section has. Explore and photograph the main sets in this section but dont miss the thousands of props and other magical elements on display.
Pro-Tip: Dont miss the Mirror of Erised, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Golden Snitches all over this area.
The Gryffindor Common Room
If youve always wanted your own common room, youll now get a sense of what that might be like. The Gryffindor common room is the only common room set on display, but you can look at both the common room itself and the boys dormitory.
Though there were several headmasters in the films, the office stayed the same. This is a prime photo spot, including a chance to gaze into the pensieve.
The Potions Classroom
I am a Slytherin at heart , so I loved seeing the Potions Classroom set. You can spot the Half-Blood Princes copy of Advanced Potion Making as well as the crucial bottle of Felix Felices. This set also has some magic so be sure to stick around to see it happen.
Some of the stories pivotal points occurred in and around Hagrids Hut, which you can peer through the door to see. Dont forget to move around and look through the windows to get different perspectives on this set.
