Harry Potter author JK Rowling has often shared the difficulties she had faced while trying to become a published author. As a single mother who was unemployed for some time, Rowling recently revealed that she would write after 2 am after doing the dishes and once her baby was asleep.
The 56-year-old was responding to a question by Twitter user Janet Emson who asked authors how they fit writing into their everyday schedule when they first started.
Rowling also revealed that to ensure that she writes everyday even when she secured a job, she would write during lunch hours and at the end of the day after marking assignments.

Various other places claim to be sources of inspiration for Rowling owing, presumably, to their proximity to locations Rowling is known to have lived at previously or visited. A cafe table where Rowling wrote sections of her Harry Potter books has successfully been salvaged from fire.
Taylor said that he was immensely relieved to find Rowlings table amongst the rubble. He said that while it had suffered from water and smoke damage, it would be restored.
Taylor said: Thankfully Ive found JK Rowlings table among the rubble and although it is water and smoke damaged, it was in the back room so it can be saved.
It is going to the restorers on Thursday and Im just so relieved this bit of history has been retained.
However, Taylor said that a valuable edition of a signed Harry Potter book was still missing.
He said: There are piles of rubble everywhere so Im hoping it is under one of them. Ive started the search.
