Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald is the second in a five movie plan to further flesh out these characters. This film focuses mainly on Credence, Newt and his family, and Grindelwalds scheming. Jude Law joins the cast as young Dumbledore in this movie.
The Crimes of Grindelwald received a mainly negative reaction from die hard Harry Potter fans. However, if you enjoyed the first Fantastic Beasts movie, you likely wont completely hate this one, unless you really dont like changes to the established canon. If youre new to Harry Potter and thinking of turning away because of Potter fans keep telling you to stop now, dont listen. At least give this film a chance and decide for yourself whether to hate it or think its fine. Not the best, but not terrible.
Fantastic Beasts 3 is expected to hit theaters on November 12, 2021, but with a delayed filming schedule, it might be a bit longer before we see another Harry Potter movie. Luckily, as we wait for the next film installment, we can always rent or buy any of or other video on demand services.

For many fans, the most memorable part of Harrys first adventure involves a three-headed dog, a terrifying plant, some winged keys, and a giant chessboard. But when it comes to pure terror, the movie hits its peak during the hunt for the unicorn.
When Professor McGonagall catches Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Malfoy wandering around in the middle of the night, the four of them are given detention and head into the Forbidden Forest to look for an injured unicorn with Hagrid.
This scene is the first truly frightening sequence in the franchise. The twisted tree roots, the strange noises, and the thick layers of fog come together to create an unsettling atmosphere, and the intensity only increases when Harry and Malfoy stumble across Voldemort drinking unicorn blood.
Whilst this certainly isnt the scariest Harry Potter scene of all time, it does establish how dark the franchise is willing to go. When viewed in isolation, the hunt for the unicorn feels more like a supernatural-horror story than a coming-of-age fantasy tale.

Harry Potter’s story is set in a magical, largely fictional Britain, but the film series used many real locations as evocative backdrops. Other settings, like Diagon Alley, exist only at Leavesden Film Studios .
Many of the real-life filming sites are closed to visitors, far out of the way for most travelers, or an unmagical disappointment in person for all but the most committed fan. But plenty of locations are worth visiting for their own sake these are my top picks.

Harry first realizes his wizard powers in The Sorcerer’s Stone when talking with a snake at the London Zoo’s Reptile House.
When Hagrid takes Harry shopping for school supplies, they enter the glass-roofed Leadenhall Market and approach the storefront at 42 Bull’s Head Passage the entrance to The Leaky Cauldron pub .
Harry catches the Hogwarts Express train at King’s Cross Station. Inside the glass-roofed train station, on a pedestrian sky bridge over the tracks, Hagrid gives Harry a train ticket. Harry finds his way to the magical platform 9¾ with some help, but these days it’s well-signed, with a luggage cart that looks like it’s disappearing into the wall, and a cleverly located gift shop. Expect a 30-minute wait for a photo with the cart.
In The Prisoner of Azkaban , The Leaky Cauldron’s exterior was shot on rough-looking Stoney Street, at the southeast edge of Borough Market, near The Market Porter pub. En route there, the Knight Bus squeezes between Muggle buses on Lambeth Bridge .

Ralph Breaks the Internet will retain top spot on the weekend box office chart with an estimated $25.8 million for a two-week total of $119.3 million. Granted, this is lower than we predicted, but not so much lower than anyone at Disney should be panicking. Internationally, the film added an estimated $33.7 million in 27 markets, lifting its international total to $87.7 million after two weeks of release. Its only major market opening of the weekend was the U.K. where it reportedly earned $5.2 million. With Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone set to launch in China today, theres a pretty decent chance that the first chapter in Warner Bros. generational mega-hit franchise will earn just enough to push it past the $1 billion mark in unadjusted global earnings. Thursday Night Previews: Fantastic Doesnt Quite Live Up To Its Name With $875 Million
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them pulled in $8.75 million during its midnight shows last night. Thats good, but a little lower than expected and not even the best of the fall so far. It was beaten by Doctor Strange, which earned $9.4 million just two weeks ago. Worse still, Fantastic Beasts‘ reviews have fallen to 74% positive. Thats still good for a blockbuster release, but it is the lowest in the Harry Potter franchise and will likely hurt the films box office performance over the weekend. Its been more than a decade since the release of the final Harry Potter movie, and fans are still talking about the series and discussing their favourite moments from the trios adventures at Hogwarts and beyond.
During these discussions, certain scenes crop up again and again. Every Harry Potter movie features a hefty climax with several standout moments that are impossible to forget. And whilst these scenes are thrilling to watch, they can sometimes overshadow other great moments that deserve more love from the fanbase.
Indeed, there are a number of underrated scenes that keep us hooked without resorting to explosive magic or gripping action sequences. These scenes provide us with a more intimate look at the wizarding world, focusing on the characters more than the plot. They can be heartwarming, tragic, amusing, or even a combination of all three.
