Although beloved by fans to this day, the movie adaptations of Harry Potter are far from perfect. Entire subplots are cut out, characters are given diminished roles in favor of the leads, and each movie simply isnt long enough to cover all the content found in the books. As a result, you end up with a series filled with plot gaps.
Just read the books.
Mind you, the later movies are actually quite good from a filmmaking perspective, the third and fifth through eighth especially, but they fail as adaptations. They capture the spirit of Harry Potter, but miss out on all the nuances of the narrative. Lets not even get started on the horror that was Voldemorts fate in the movies. A complete mockery of his end in the books.

Ah, but that summer of 2011 what a glorious summer it was to be a Harry Potter fan. As Deathly Hallows Part 2 marked the end of the movies, it seemed like the whole world was talking about the series legacy. It was celebrated. It had not outlived its welcome. Rowlings tweets were harmless. Fans were sad to see their favorite story ending, but it would be the last time that talking about Harry Potter did not mean inviting discourse, or endlessly arguing about the need to separate the art from the artist.
For a short period, it was possible to believe Pottermore would be the perfect last addition to the franchise: a soft epilogue to the Potter books and movies, a way to keep the magic available for return, but also a way to move on together.
There isnt quite a together, these days, just a divide on what it means to love Harry Potter, on a scale that ranges from embracing every new word, spinoff, and Funko Pop to embracing and living in nostalgia for an era of mutual celebration through online discussions, fics, and the fan-made videos. Some fans can love Harry Potter without loving its creator, while others say the active harm shes doing has completely rotted away any lingering affection for the series that once gave them purpose.
Harry Potter as a franchise has grown up. Its fans have too, and some of them have decided it wasnt worth taking along with them.

Bringing Hogwarts To The Real World
At Universal Studios Orlando resort, two different locations from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter have been brought to life.
Resort guests have the option of walking through Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
To get to both parks, visitors ride the Hogwarts Express.
The train is made to look exactly like it appears on film.
After your ride on the Hogwarts Express, guests are let out into the Kings Cross Station.
Outside of the station, you can spot the Flying Car that Harry and Ron used in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Diagon Alley is right outside the station and has plenty of shops and restaurants for guests to visit, such as The Leaky Cauldron, the Fountain of Fair Fortune, and The Hopping Pot.
You can also experience Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, which is an attraction that takes you underneath Diagon Alley.
For shopping, guests have the option of visiting multiple shops that are featured in the books and films such as Weasleys Wizard Wheezes, Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment, and Sugarplums Sweet Shop.
Most of the Harry Potter-themed rides are located in Hogsmeade.
In this park, you can find rides based on different scenes from the series including Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle, or Flight of the Hippogriff.
There are frog concerts performed by Hogwarts students and performances from the Triwizard Spirit Rally going on around the park.
This is also where Ollivanders is located.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix ~ 65 Million Copies
