Buy A Park Hopper And Universal Express Pass
The Universal Express pass is imperative if you wish to do both Harry Potter worlds in one day to skip the very long wait times. There are two types of express passes: the Universal Express Standard and the Universal Express Unlimited. The standard pass allows you to skip the line one time per ride each day the unlimited pass allows you to skip the line as many times as you want. However, because you will be walking through the shorter queue instead of the regular long queue, youll miss some of the items on display to keep you occupied. There are some unique items in the shorter line as well, so dont worry about missing too much!

What If I Have Express Passes
Beginning July 2017, Universal added Express access to most attractions in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, including the Hogwarts Express . By using our plan, you will encounter the shortest possible wait times, so you can be strategic in your use of Express, especially if you have the basic pass, which only allows one usage per attraction. Consider using the standby queue while the lines are short, and use your Express Pass when lines get longer. Express Passes, of course, wont allow you to skip the lines for shops or avoid the general crowds, so early mornings and late evenings are still the way to go.
If you have Unlimited Express Passs, rejoice! You may visit the attractions at any time and re-ride as much as you want with significantly reduced wait times.
What To Know About The Hogsmeade Shops At The Harry Potter Orlando Theme Park
There arent nearly as many shopping locations in Hogsmeade as there are in Diagon Alley, but there are more than enough to meet all your wizarding needs.
Honeydukes
Honeydukes sells many of the same treats found at Sugarplums Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley. If candy isnt your thing, go for the Butterbeer Fudge or Cauldron Cakes in the bakery case.

What Do I Need To Know Before I Plan My Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Trip
To conquer the crowds and experience the best of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, weve outlined the ideal itinerary for a busy day at Universal Orlando Resort. Our goal is to have you be prepared for the worst crowds with a solid plan on how to make your way through Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade by understanding crowd-flows and peak crowd times when planning your vacation, these two points will help you decide how to arrange your days.
First, study up on Early Park Admission, which is available to any guest staying at one of Universal Orlandos hotels or who books a vacation package at a partner hotel that also offers Early Park Admission.
Second, plan on entering the Wizarding World at least four times, either at the very beginning of the day or in the last three hours before the park closes. The basic strategy is to have a morning and evening in Hogsmeade, and a morning and evening in Diagon Alley. This is what you will do during your visits:
- Ride Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
- Visit the shops, shows, and dining of Diagon Alley
- Ride the Hogwarts Express
Can You Ride The Hogwarts Express Without A Park To Park Ticket
Unfortunately, you cannot ride the Hogwarts Express at Universal Studios without a park to park ticket.
As you arrive at either Kings Cross inside Universal Studios or Hogsmeade Station inside Islands of Adventure your park ticket will be scanned.
If you do not have a park to park ticket then the conductor will turn you around or ask you if youd like to upgrade to a park to park ticket .
The reason behind this is that the Hogwarts Express links the two parks between the train ride.
When you board the Hogwarts Express at Hogsmeade Station in Universals Islands of Adventure the journey will take you across to Kings Cross Station.
This station is just outside of Diagon Alley in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.
Much like if you board the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross the journey will take you over to Hogsmeade Station in Universals Islands of Adventure.

Designed as a nighttime trail with lights, special effects and film-infused sounds, the characters and forest scenes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films take center stage along the way. Open to all ages, the walking trail was designed to last approximately 4575 minutes, though attendees may stroll along at their leisure. And, yes, photography is allowed to create the Instagram story of a lifetime.
While tight-lipped on all the surprises along the way, there are promises of a light trail entrance into the forest itself, face-to-face interactions with favorite characters and a unique opportunity to wave your wand and conjure a Patronus .

It all looks so realistic, and its an entirely immersive attraction if it werent for all the Muggles wandering around, you would honestly think that you are in the movies.
Any fans of the series will surely be delighted at all the little details and places you can visit the candy at Honeydukes is just as sweet as you imagined, Weasleys Wizard Wheezes is as chaotic and fun, and Flourish and Blotts even has a Monster Book of Monsters .
