I love the fact that theres another aspect of the Harry Potter world which is completely different from everything else. I think its very special as it is and there will be a time when shes maybe ready to do it .
At the time Warner Bros told Express.co.uk: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage play, with no plans for there to be a film.
Presumably, this is still the official position, but no doubt the Hollywood studio will want to continue expanding its Wizarding World property once the three Fantastic Beasts movies are completed.

Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Release Date
Since nothing has been confirmed by either Warner Bros. or J.K. Rowling, there is no way to predict when a new Harry Potter movie or TV show might be released. With filming restrictions due to COVID, we can expect a release as early as 2023 if the project is confirmed in the next few months.

Is A New Harry Potter Movie Trilogy Coming
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child never struggled when it came to ticket sales, but despite the success of the play, J.K. Rowling has said that it will act as the final chapter in Harry Potter’s journey.
Well, maybe not so fast on that last part. Some recent comments were made by Jim Hill, a theme park historian and journalist with massive contacts at Disney and Universal, that may contradict earlier remarks from the studios and Rowling that Cursed Child would indeed be the final piece of Harry’s story on film.
Hill appeared on the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast to discuss a myriad of topics regarding Universal Orlando . During the conversation, Hill made mention of the current contract between NBCUniversal and Warner Bros., specifically a clause that allows NBCUniversal the exclusive broadcast rights for all Potter and Fantastic Beasts films from July 1, 2018, forward.
“They not only have Potter, they have Fantastic Beasts and, supposedly, if you drill down into the language of the deal, they also have when they’re finally made the trilogy of movies that will be based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
That is certainly an interesting development, and would allow the actors to get on wit their careers while also passing on the torch to a new group of stars for future films. Whether it happens or not, who knows, but it is certainly worth revisiting once Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has started to run its course.

Would The Harry Potter Cast Return
While recasting the beloved original cast of the Harry Potter franchise would prove a challenging endeavor, the studio might have to for story continuity. The characters are considerably older in the play Harry, Ron and Hermione are in their late 30s, so the original three actors of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are still a bit too young-looking to convincingly be just a stone’s throw away from 40.
Another thing to consider is how Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was originally cast, which had caused inevitable controversy back in 2016: Hermione Grangers role was given to a Black actress, which Rowling defended by saying that Hermiones skin color had never been described in detail in the novels. While J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. have both denied that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would ever be adapted for the big screen in the past, Kilar’s remarks rekindled old rumors. Taking into account that the play is shown in two parts because of its length, many argue that a movie version of Harry Potter in the Cursed Child wouldn’t really work and might it be better adapted in a TV show format. It so happens that the studio has announced a call for writers for a potential spinoff show set in the world of Harry Potter.

Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Plot: How Will Fantastic Beasts End
If we assume that we’re going to get three more movies of the series, here’s what was originally planned for the spin-off.
Rowling has said that the films will cover 19 years of Wizarding World history. That will take the last one up to 1945, the year that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald and claimed the Elder Wand from him.
That was also the year that a certain Tom Riddle graduated from Hogwarts.
All that considered, it seems unlikely that the fifth movie won’t feature the climactic battle between Dumbledore and his former friend. Credence could also turn out to play an important role in their struggle, especially if the theory that Dumbledore’s sister Ariana was another Obscurial turns out to be true.

That 19-year period also covers the birth of Voldemort and the actions surrounding the creation of his first Horcruxes.
Theseus was known to be corresponding with Percival Graves, the director of magical security for the US magical government MACUSA, which put Newt’s brother in contact with Grindelwald, who had assumed Graves’s identity.
That considered, his outlook might be quite different to Newt’s. Could that put them on opposite sides of Grindelwald’s coming war?

What Could An New Harry Potter Film Be
When she finished The Deathly Hallows, Rowling was pretty adamant that this was the end for Harry and the Wizarding World and so naturally the same was assumed of the films . Of course, shes since dramatically and repeatedly gone back on her word first with a massive expansion of the mythology with Pottermore, then last year with double-tap of cinematic prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and stage sequel The Cursed Child .
The Cursed Child covers the first few years of Albus Severus time at Hogwarts and has a suitable mix of new adventure and reverence for the original characters pretty much what a film studio would look for in a legacy-quel. Indeed, doing this was rumored when the play opened, with it alleged Warners wanted to use it as a springboard for a Force Awakens-esque reboot of the series, possibly a trilogy adaptation. While these reports were later denied by both studio and author, it would be naive to think at the very least conversations havent happened.
The creator has shown explicitly shes willing to continue the Potter story, which nullifies any sense of impossibility, and shes also given us the obvious source for an future movie. Yet, aside from last years denied report of Warners considering it, all of this is mere speculation, so why is a new film so certain?

As there are no plans to adapt Harry Potter and the Cursed Child into a movie, there is no release date information to speak of.
Instead, film fans will have to look forward to the next Fantastic Beasts film, the third in the series, which is currently slated for release on July 15th, 2022.

Will There Be A Movie
Rumors about the release of the 9th part of Harry Potter appeared after the press leaked information that Warner Brosers, which had filmed the previous parts of the franchise, began to negotiate with JK Rowling on the right to film the last book. The notorious Daily News magazine reported that the studio had already obtained rights and even started developing a script.

Fantastic Beasts 3 4 And 5 Release Dates: When Is Fantastic Beasts 3 Released
Long story short, Fantastic Beasts 3 will be released in cinemas on .
Originally, it was thought the threequel would repeat the two-year release gap of the first two movies and come out on November 20, 2020. This date was never set in stone, though and when production was pushed back by Warner Bros, we knew that 2020 wasnt going to happen for the threequel.
It was then set for November 12, 2021. However, just when filming was due to begin in March 2020, the pandemic saw the start of production delayed until September. And then came the exit of Depp, leading to the movie being pushed back to July 2022.
Afteranother production delay in early February 2021, filming wrapped later that month according to composer James Newton Howard: I know that David Yates has finished shooting, and Im chomping at the bit to get going.
So, hopefully, with filming done , the current 2022 release date will stick and there will be no further release delays.
The fourth and fifth movies have never had release dates, but we originally assumed we could expect them in November 2022 and November 2024, which now definitely wont be the case.
Theres no guarantee that the third movie will be a hit, so it could well be that it marks the end of the Fantastic Beasts series. So we could be waiting a while to see if well get a fourth and fifth movie.
Assuming they do happen though, dont expect a fourth movie anytime before 2024.
