Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire
Whether you like 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire depends on how much you enjoy meeting other kid characters, because there are plenty of them in this film. Harry is chosen by the Goblet of Fire to compete in the Triwizard Tournament, where three magical schools compete in three challenges. Twilight fans know this film because it also stars Robert “Edward Cullen” Pattinson as Hogwarts hunky champion Cedric Diggory. This is the first Harry Potter film to be rated PG-13 as opposed to PG.

Could Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Happen
While JK Rowling and Warner Bros. have both denied that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would ever be adapted for the big screen in the past, Kilar’s remarks rekindled old rumors. There are a great many avenues a future Potter project could take, including a series about the Marauders or Harry’s career as an Auror. Adapting the play to a movie would open the content to Potterheads who weren’t able to see the play. But taking into account that the play is shown in two parts because of its length, many argue that a movie version of Harry Potter in the Cursed Child wouldn’t work, and it might be better suited to a TV show format. The studio has announced a call for writers on a potential spinoff show set in the world of Harry Potter, as it happens.
A Reboot Could Bring Several Ideas Into The Spotlight
There are quite a few ideas in the Harry Potter books that did not make it to the big screen. From scenes at the Dursleys to Dobbies greater involvement, there are many scenes in the books that fans want to see. A reboot might have the chance to highlight some of these moments.
The story of Harry Potter and the world in which he lives is far larger than the movies have shown. By rebooting this idea, it could create a reaction among fans. Whether that reaction is positive or negative tends to rely heavily on how the director portrays each part of the story.
It feels like its still early for a reboot, but theres a good chance that such an idea would still require several years to take root. The work to bring the wizarding world back to life would need quite a bit of work to avoid copying too much.

Warner Bros Really Wants A Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Movie
Warner Bros. Discovery is still planning a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child film adaptation with the project being pushed by CEO David Zaslav.
Warner Bros. Discovery is still pushing for an adaptation of the play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
According to Puck News, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has reportedly planned on revitalizing the Harry Potter franchise by adapting The Cursed Child into a film and marketing it as a sequel, since the play takes place after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

While these plans have not been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. Discovery, this report comes wherein he stated that the studio has not “done a Harry Potter movie in 15 years” during a Q3 earnings call on Nov. 3. “We’re going to have a real focus on franchises…We haven’t had a Superman movie in 13 years,” he said. “We havent done a Harry Potter movie in 15 years. The DC movies and the Harry Potter movies provided a lot of the profits of Warner Bros. Motion Pictures over the last 25 years.”
Zaslav’s comments did not take into account the Fantastic Beasts franchise, which was originally intended to have five movies. However, based on the poor box office performance of the third film, The Secrets of Dumbledore, Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly no longer developing further films in the franchise.
There Are A Number Of Factors Against Cursed Child
While it seems a no-brainer to keep adapting one of the most popular franchises in history, there are actually many factors preventing The Cursed Child from ever seeing the screen.
Firstly is Rowlings reported lack of interest. This could be due to a number of reasons, she could be aware that her focus should remain on the play, milking it for all its worth before it loses steam, and then perhaps focus on a screen adaptation.
The failed franchise of Fantastic Beasts may have also wounded her faith in expanding the Wizarding World on screen. The films, while not doing abysmally, were met with mixed reviews and failed to gain the money that the original film series did.
Theres also the current political climate surrounding Rowling. With her transphobic statements alienating a notable portion of her audience, its hard to imagine that the adaptation would gain as much love as it once could have. Not only that, but her views have lead actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson to distance themselves from her, which would likely affect their appearance in any adaption.
Ultimately, Rowling doesnt want an adaptation, and as she holds so much creative and financial power over the franchise, it would be borderline impossible to make a Cursed Child adaptation without her approval.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
The third Potter film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, came out in 2004 and is one of the creepiest of the films, thanks to the eerie dementors, soulless, eyeless beings who guard the wizard prison, Azkaban. As Harry and friends start their first year, the dementors are guarding Hogwarts, supposedly offering protection from Sirius Black, an Azkaban escapee. Of course, in the Potter universe, nothing is quite as it seems.

Everything We Know About Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Movie
Chris Columbus wants to make Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Could he adapt the stage play into a Harry Potter sequel?
Director Chris Columbus has stated interest in continuing the HarryPotter franchise by making the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child into a movie. Here’s everything we know about it. Ever since the Harry Potter movie franchise’s flash-forward epilogue in 2011, fans have been asking for more stories set in the Wizarding World. Their wishes were granted in the form of a two-part onstage sequel to the books, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, as well as the release of prequels Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore .
The Fantastic Beasts series is surrounded by controversy and has underperformed compared to its predecessor. The second movie of the prequel series, The Crimes of Grindelwald, received brutal reviews after its 2018 release. The studio has been trying to rectify the situation by recasting Johnny Depp’s role as Gellert Grindelwald with Mads Mikkelsen, who has been deemed a better fit for the character in many critics opinions. It might entice viewers to give Fantastic Beasts another chance. In any case, a new Harry Potter project could breathe fresh air into the wider franchise and distract from Fantastic Beasts‘ failings.

Warner Bros Wanted To Make Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Movies
Its been over a decade since Warner Bros. released their last Harry Potter movie, and while much may have changed in those years, the studios thirst to capitalize on the wizarding franchise has not waned. Warner Bros. is now Warner Media Discovery, and Harry Potter has retired from the big screen and been replaced by magizoologist Newt Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts prequel movies.
That said, Harry is keeping busy. He grew up and appeared in the stage show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which is about Harry and Ginny Weasleys children attending Hogwarts alongside the kid of Harrys former rival Draco Malfoy. When that play hit the stage, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling published the script as a book that was touted as the next entry in the franchise. I still have flashbacks to the literal hundreds of disappointed people I talked to back when I worked at a bookstore during Cursed Childs release who were confused to discover the thing marketed as the eighth Harry Potter book was in fact the script for a play. But I digress.
Considering how much Warner Bros. Discovery wants to expand the Potterverse, wouldnt it make sense to do an adaptation of The Cursed Child? After all, it does still include a fair few of the main characters from the original series, even if they largely take a back seat to the next generation.

A New Harry Potter Movie Is Inevitable
News of a new Harry Potter movie or TV adaption has been gaining attraction over the past week. It is free publicity for the franchise and I expect Zaslav to use this to his advantage. It almost sounds like a new Harry Potter project is inevitable because of its guaranteed success and we should here something about it in the next six months.
What do you make of the news of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child being made into a movie? As I said earlier, it will eventually be made into a movie one day because it is already written and has been critically acclaimed. With the popularity of the show alone, it will make over a hundred million in its first week.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore
You’ll need to wait until April 15, 2022, to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Most of the original cast returns, including Eddie Redmayne as Newt, Dan Fogler as Jacob, and Jude Law as Dumbledore. But Johnny Depp is no longer playing Grindelwald — that role has been recast with Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen. Depp reportedly had filmed one scene for this film before Warner Bros. asked him to resign .
The film itself is set in the 1930s, and leads up to the Wizarding World’s involvement in World War II. It’ll also move on from the previously known wizarding communities in the US and UK and show magical life in Bhutan, Germany and China.
Where to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore: The film is scheduled to be available in theaters on April 8, 2022, in the UK and Ireland, and on April 15, 2022, in the US, and to stream on HBO Max 45 days after its theatrical debut.
A Reboot Would Not Involve The Main Actors
A Harry Potter reboot has found root in fans minds over the last decade and more. People want to see this idea return, but they also want it done right. Theres plenty of pressure on whoever wants to take on this project since, like many fanbases, Potterheads are notoriously picky.
The main actors will not return evidently. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint have all made it clear that theyve cut ties with the author of the books, JK Rowling. The reason behind this is well known since Rowlings statements concerning trans individuals have angered plenty of people.
Unfortunately, this indicates to many fans and actors that the franchise is better off without her. The downside of this way of thinking is that separating a creator from their creation is not quite simple. Plus, fans are notorious for saying one thing and doing another. Even while condemning Rowling, many fans will still watch the reboot.

Did Jk Rowling Write Harry Potter And The Cursed Child
Rowling, who has been at the center of numerous controversies recently, did not write Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. She was consulted, and is credited with working on the story, but ultimately it was playwright Jack Thorne who wrote the screenplay. Rowling presumably provided story details such as the House Albus ended up being sorted into alongside the careers of the legacy characters. As such, it’s generally considered canon, though this status is heavily disputed among fans that argue anything not explicitly written by Rowling shouldn’t be taken at face value.
Daniel Radcliffe Won’t Make A Cursed Child Movie Yet
Daniel Radcliffe won’t be returning for Harry Potter & The Cursed Child. Out of the entire cast, Radcliffe has been the most adamant about the fact that he’s not ready to jump back into his titular role yet. It’s understandable, given that Harry Potter‘s the Boy Who Lived had a slow start with his career outside of Harry Potter and has only just begun to shed the persona as a whole. The idea was brought up to the actor during an interview with The New York Times. Radcliffe went on to say, “I’m getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter okay, and I’m really happy with where I am now,”. He then went on to compare his role to that of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Harrison Ford as Han Solo, basically saying that they were allowed at least 30 years before returning to their defining parts. This should at least give hope to audiences that while Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t want to make another Harry Potter movie any time soon, he could still be open to it in future.

Harry Potter : The Cursed Child Movie Planned At Warner Bros
After the failure of the Fantastic Beasts film series, Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly looking to move forward with a movie adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The Wizarding World has experienced its own ups and downs through the years, but its momentum slowed down after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 ended Daniel Radcliffe’s on-screen adventure as the titular wizard in 2011.
Although the Fantastic Beasts movies did return to Hogwarts and even feature Albus Dumbledore in a significant role, some fans pointed out that it didn’t have the same magic that the Harry Potter films translated on-screen despite it managing to expand its world and history.
Now, amid the promising news that plans for a small screen expansion for Harry Potter’s adventures to continue, a new update about a potential Harry Potter 9 emerged online.
Harry Potter And The Half
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which came out in 2009, cost an estimated $250 million, making it the most expensive film in a very expensive series. And it’s not just expensive, it’s also full of huge plot points, including a heart-wrenching death that no Potter fan can forget or perhaps forgive. The Half-Blood Prince of the title appears to be whoever last owned Harry’s Potions textbook, leaving him notes and spells that help him in class, but of course, nothing is as simple as it seems in this magical world.

Why Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Movie Was Scrapped By Wb
A new report reveals the reasons why a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie adaptation fell apart at Warner Bros. several years ago.
A new report reveals why the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie adaptation fell apart at Warner Bros. Ever since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 capped off the cinematic adaptation of J.K Rowling’s novels in 2011, there has been tremendous interest in seeing the franchise’s Golden Trio of Harry Potter , Hermione Granger , and Ron Weasley return to the silver screen. One way that could happen is a film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a stage play written by Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany set nineteen years after the events of The Deathly Hallows.
Now, a new report reveals that Warner Bros. once entertained the notion of adapting Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to the screen. According to Puck News, the studio had serious interest in adapting the two-part play into two movies, but Rowling and her representatives did not share their excitement. The Harry Potter author and her stage producers, Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, were primarily concerned that a potential film adaptation would hurt the play’s ticket sales on Broadway. In addition, not everyone at Warner Bros. supported the idea, as they felt a Cursed Child movie would suggest that Fantastic Beasts was a failure.
