The Making Of Harry Potter
In March 2011, Warner Bros. announced plans to build a tourist attraction in the United Kingdom to showcase the Harry Potter film series. The Making of Harry Potter is a behind-the-scenes walking tour featuring authentic sets, costumes and props from the film series. The attraction is located at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, where all eight of the Harry Potter films were made. Warner Bros. constructed two new sound stages to house and showcase the famous sets from each of the British-made productions, following a £100 million investment. It opened to the public in March 2012.
The Tales Of Beedle The Bard Audiobook
In March 2020, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the 2007 collection of childrens stories from J.K. Rowling was given the audiobook treatment with a star-studded cast including quite a few actors from the Harry Potter film franchise. With Warwick Davis, Noma Dumezweni, Jason Iassacs, and Jude Law, who provides insights as the voice of one Albus Dumbledore, all providing their voices to this well-written and acted audiobook, theres no reason for diehard fans to miss this one. And best of all, The Tales of Beedle the Bard is available for free for Audible members.
Order Of The Phoenix Illustrated Edition
Ever since the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released in October 2019, fans around the world have been anxiously awaiting the release of the fifth book in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. And while we wont see the title in bookstores in 2020, theres a chance we may see all those great illustrations from Jim Kay at some point in late 2021, especially if you consider the fact that there was a two-year break between the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
In February 2020, Jim Kay that he was hard at work on illustrating The Order of the Phoenix but the process was moving slower than he had hoped due to his constant battle with depression. He’s also since expressed gratitude for all of the support he’s received. He occasionally shares some amazing Potter-related sketches on his Instagram, so be sure to give him a follow if you want to keep up on his progress illustrating Order of the Phoenix. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore
The third, and possibly final installment in the Fantastic Beasts series, The Secrets of Dumbledore is set to tentative release on 15 April 2022, in the United States and 8 April 2022 in the United Kingdom. Directed by David Yates and based on a screenplay by Steve Kloves and Rowling herself, The Secrets of Dumbledore is set several years after the events of The Crimes of Grindelwald, following up on Dumbledore tasking Newt Scamander and his allies with a mission that situates them right at the heart of dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwalds army. Most importantly, this film will also be delving deeper into the ancestry of Credence Barebone, who is revealed to be Aurelius Dumbledore, Dumbledores long-lost brother at the end of the second installment. Also, it is only a matter of time before viewers find out if the many temporal inconsistencies created by the franchise will be finally resolved.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
The third book in the series introduces Sirius Black, a deranged mass murderer whos just escaped from the wizard prison of Azkaban. As a result, swarms of Dementors dark, faceless beings that suck the soul out of their victims and serve as the guards of Azkaban infiltrate Hogwarts to patrol for Black, whos supposedly after Harry next. To make matters worse, our normally steadfast hero has a bad reaction to the Dementors, which cause him to faint on a train and even lose a critical Quidditch match.
Again, though, its not all doom and gloom. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban also features Professor Remus Lupin, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and a school friend of Harrys late father. Lupin and Harry quickly forge a father-son-like relationship themselves, and Lupin teaches Harry the Patronus Charm to protect himself from Dementors.
Meanwhile, Ron and Hermione are squabbling even more than usual over their respective pets, Crookshanks the cat and Scabbers the rat. But what seems like a lighthearted subplot turns out to be a major factor in one of the biggest twists of the series, revealed in the last few chapters and which naturally involves Black and Lupin as well. Oh, and hippogriffs and time traveling, in case that wasnt enough to sell you on it.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Script Book
Following the debut of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a script book for the play was published, allowing Harry Potter fans to read both parts of the play. To be clear, this book is not a novel, however it does contain the full play, for those who aren’t able to get to London to see it, or for those who want to relive the theatrical magic in script form.

It has been almost 10 years since the last book came out , even though chances are you don’t need someone to remind you of that. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be a continuation of the story we already know, although it will be years after where we left the characters. It is much less a book as it is a play, âThe Cursed Childâ which debuts in London this weekend.
Fans are surely going to want more of the story when it comes out this weekend, and there’s no shame in that. Unfortunately, there are no clues that we can expect another book, play, script, novel, tweet spree, or even blog post about what happens after The Cursed Child. But, as fans know, J.K. Rowling is very passionate about the Harry Potter franchise, so there’s really no knowing where this could lead.

Fantastic Beasts was originally discussed as a planned trilogy, but then in November 2016, J.K. Rowling announced that the story would be spread out over five films. Producer David Heyman confirmed to us that they’re aiming to release one film for the series every two years. While that was the case for the 2018 release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, it appears that the third movie in the franchise wont see the light of day until at least fall 2021, but even that window is up in the air due to the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic. The release date of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is projected to be at the end of 2021.There are rumours that the Trailer for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will debut in 2021.
There is no formal confirmation of the film yet, but there have been heavy speculation and suggestions that there will be another Harry Potter movie and that the old cast will even make a comeback in this one.
As much as some Harry Potter fans would prefer to remove from their past, that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child even exist the fact remains it does. And those who skipped that specific voyage, what you need to note is that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play that opened for the first time in 2016. It takes place in 2017, 19 years since the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film.
Since the play was revealed for the first time, and particularly after its script was published in book form, some people wondered if were ever going to get a Harry Potter and a Cursed Child movie. After all, weve got movies from all the original Harry Potter books, plus the Amazing Beasts movies why not a play as well?

Jk Rowling Announces An Eighth Harry Potter Book
When die-hard “Harry Potter” fans first heard that J.K. Rowling was writing a sequel to her beloved seven-part series, they couldn’t wait to get their hands on the book. Then they realized the sequel wasn’t going to be released in book form she had turned it into a play.
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is set to debut in London at the Palace Theatre on the day before Harry’s birthday, July 30.
But today, Rowling announced that the script of the play will in fact be released as a two-part book, at 12:01 a.m. on July 31, 2016.

“Pottermore is proud to be a key part of the multi-platform effort that will allow the epic eighth Harry Potter story to be read and enjoyed by a wider, global audience,” said Susan L. Jurevics, chief executive officer of J.K. Rowling’s online home base Pottermore in an announcement on the site.
The play was not written by Rowling herself. English playwright Jack Thorne wrote the script based on “an original new story” Rowling wrote with Thorne and theater director John Tiffany but never released as a book. It is set 19 years after the end of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” the series’ last book.
Harry is “an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.”

On 25 January 2021, a live action television series was reported to have been in early development at HBO Max. Though it was noted that the series has “complicated rights issues”, due to a seven-year rights deal with Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution that included U.S. broadcast, cable and streaming rights to the franchise, which ends in April 2025.

This weekend not only marks Harry Potter’s birthday, but also the official opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling was at the gala opening this weekend, and when asked about the prospect of additional stories to follow Cursed Child, the writer shot down the idea pretty firmly.
No. No. He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know. So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, No, Harry is done now.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts. The two-part play centers on Harry’s son Albus, and some other characters . Harry, Ron and Hermione are well into their adulthood in this new story, which is officially the eighth story in the series, and as Rowling notes, the focus is on the next generation.

Is There A Harry Potter Reunion Trailer
On the day the special was officially announced, HBO Max shared a minute-long teaser that opens with Albus Dumbledore once again musing, Mysterious thing, time When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin.

Jk Rowling Wont Appear In The Hbo Max Special
Notably absent from WarnerMedias release is the book series author, J.K. Rowling. No reason was given for Rowlings lack of participation. However, the iconic author did court serious criticism when she made comments about the trans community in June 2020.
THR cites sources close to the project saying that while she wont be a part of the new production, Rowling will appear in archival footage.
It has been an incredible journey since the debut of the Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone film, and witnessing how it has evolved into this remarkable interconnected universe has been magical to say the least, explained Tom Ascheim, president of Warner Bros.
