Ajout le plus récent à lunivers de Harry Potter, Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure est un parcours en montagnes russes à travers la forêt interdite. Vous aurez le choix entre vous asseoir sur une moto ou un side-car, qui on se le rappellera, est le mode de transport privilégié par Hagrid.
Vous croiserez de nombreux animaux magiques durant votre tour. Le trajet est constitué de quelques zones de démarrage, qui vous feront prendre de la vitesse à chaque départ. Ça va donc assez vite, mais on est quand même loin des grosses montagnes russes ailleurs dans le parc de Universal.
Whats In Orlando Florida
First, lets cover some simple geography.
The theme park capitol of the world, located in sunny central Florida, is a sprawling metropolis called Orlando.
Its home to more theme parks than I can count on my fingers, and multiple attractions and land marks worth visiting.
Harry potter and Disney World are both in Orlando.
Portable Phone chargers are great to bring with you to a full day at the parks. I really like because theme parks dont have the best wifi and it sucks your battery
I Had To Book My Disney Ticket In Advance And I Was Only Able To Get Entrance Into One Park At First
Disney World is running on a reservation system that requires all guests, including those staying at on-site resorts, to buy their theme-park tickets in advance.
It books up early and leaves little to no room to wing anything on your vacation.
On my visit, I was able to snag a reservation for only one of Disney World’s four theme parks Epcot. But I opted for a park-hop ticket, so after 1 p.m. I was able to roam freely to the other parks as long as they weren’t at capacity.

Hogsmeade Stores Harry Potter 2022
It is no surprise to anyone who regularly reads the blog that I love a store, but the stores in the Harry Potter areas are going to drive you crazy.
Despite liking stores, I am zero consumer and I don’t usually buy on impulse or anything, but I admit that in these stores it is quite easy to lose your head if you are a fan of the series.
Let’s see what stores are found there.
Honeyducks
It is the Hogsmeade confectionery that in Portuguese books is called Dedosdemel.
If you have seen the film or read the books, you already know the amount of goodies that are mentioned there.
And in this store you will find many things like chocolate frogs, beans of all flavors , pumpkin juice, among others.
The prices are not the cheapest, especially the most classic items like chocolate frogs.
It’s pretty easy to get carried away and buy a bunch of stuff, but always check prices before you buy something.
For example, the box of beans of all flavors is much more expensive than the same candy sold in bulk at the store itself.
Dervishes & Bangs and Owl Post
These two stores connect from the inside and have some pretty cool stuff.
On the outside of the Owl Post is a howler that you can actually record your message to play every time it is opened.
These stores have very interesting things, like a monster book that snarls and shakes and brooms that move.
There you can also buy stationery, stamps, and even send a postcard with the Hogwarts stamp.

Explorer Les Boutiques Magiques
Dans les deux parcs, les boutiques sont toutes plus jolies les unes que les autres. Impossible de ne pas être complètement charmés par leurs vitrines extérieures si originales. Vous pourrez vous y procurer de nombreux souvenirs. Que ce soit des foulards aux couleurs de votre maison, des figurines, de la papeterie, ou des bijoux, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Vous aurez même le bonheur de croiser sur votre chemin la boutique de farces et attrapes de Fred et George Weasley.
Un autre magasin digne de mention est celui de Ollivanders. Il se trouve dans les deux parcs, et propose une cérémonie toute particulière qui vous montrera comment une baguette choisit son maître. Je ne sais pas si cest parce que mes attentes pour ce moment étaient très élevées, mais je croyais que jallais être un peu plus impressionnée.
Je crois que malgré tout, cette expérience unique en vaut la peine. Mon conseil : si vous souhaitez voir la cérémonie des baguettes de Ollivanders, faites-la dès votre arrivée dans un des parcs. En plein jour, lattente pour entrer dans la boutique peut être interminable.
Universal Studios Opens The Harry Potter Wizarding World
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been open to Muggles in Orlando since June 2010. After two years of construction and building excitement, the attraction was finally revealed within the larger “Islands of Adventure” in the Universal Studios Orlando.
Harry Potter fans will be thrilled by the three exciting rides at the theme park: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff. Six new Potter-based stores include items from the Weasley twins’ mischievous magic and every flavor of beans. You can even enjoy a unique dining experience at Three Broomsticks and raise a Butter Beer to Harry and the gang.
Simply walking into the Wizarding World is an experience in itself. The world of Harry Potter has been so amazingly recreated that you may even forget you’re in a theme park, and not actually transported to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts Castle. Talk about magic!

I Was Able To Experience Some Of The Summer Bites Booths At Universal
When I visited, Universal was offering a series of Summer Bites booths many of which were Japanese inspired in honor of the Tokyo Olympics.
Although the dishes weren’t nearly as impressive as Disney’s festival options, the white-cheddar mac and cheese was delicious. The generous portion was $10.
Universal’s festival goodies were mostly full-sized portions, so it wasn’t as easy to sample a few dishes as it was at Epcot.
Is The Wizarding World Or Star Wars Land Better For Adults
Its no secret that Universal parks cater to an older crowd. I even have a blog post with 5 things for adults to do in Universal.
Most of the Disney Parks are very obviously geared towards children, but Hollywood Studios isnt quite as kid-focused as Magic Kingdom.
If youre comparing Universal vs. Disney for adults as a whole, Universal will probably win. However, when comparing Galaxys Edge vs. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, there is no clear winner.
Both Galaxys Edge and the Wizarding Worlds offer entertaining rides for adults, adult beverages, and more.
Adults might have appreciated Galaxys Edge more if it had been set in an earlier time, but we already talked about that.

Disney Plus Has So Many Other Gems In The Meantime
To satiate your Harry Potter need, Disney Plus does have some options that may help! If you’re looking for a good fantasy-type movie, Disney Plus offers movies like The Chronicles of Narnia franchise, A Wrinkle in Time, Beauty and the Beast, and Avatar.
There is also the 2010 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, which will spark familiar feelings of nostalgia and childlike wonder for any Harry Potter fan. If a television series is more your taste for magic and wizardry, there’s always the entire series of the Selena Gomez Disney Channel original series, Wizards of Waverly Place.
I Really Liked The Flower And Garden Merchandise Disney Had This Year But It Was Pretty Expensive
Disney has continually produced lustworthy souvenirs, but they come with pretty steep price tags the ever-popular spirit-jersey shirts retail at $70.
Disney has successfully curated a fan base that excitedly awaits the latest merchandise drops. I loved the vibrant limited-edition collection for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival as well as the home-line collaboration with the illustrator Jerrod Maruyama.
But I typically shy away from actually buying most of the items because of the cost.

Harry Potter The Orlando Attractions And Tips Guide 2022
For those like me who grew up with characters in books and movies, visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios parks is a dream come true.
But, even if you don’t consider yourself a fan of books or movies, the area created for today’s most famous little witches is well worth it for the ambience and attention to detail.
Although there is a Harry Potter park also at Universal Studios in Hollywood, in this post well cover only the parks found in Orlando!
The 2 Harry Potter areas found in Universal Studios Orlando Resort parks are the most amazing areas of both parks, and will leave every visitor’s jaw dropped!
Undoubtedly this post will be quite extensive as we will talk about all areas, attractions, restaurants, shops and tips from all areas of the Harry Potter Park in Orlando.

Harry Potter And The Forbidden Journey
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey est lattraction principale du monde de Harry Potter. Elle se situe à lintérieur du château de Hogwarts. La file dattente vaut à elle seule le détour tellement il y a de détails à observer.
Davantage un immense simulateur que des montagnes russes, elle vous fera vous envoler dans différents tableaux représentant des scènes du château. Les wagons ne sont pas sur des rails, mais sont plutôt maintenus par un bras robotisé. Il ny a pas de chute et la vitesse nest pas très élevée, mais il ne faut pas avoir le mal des transports pour faire cette attraction. Ça bouge quand même pas mal, mais ça reste très tolérable.
Pour vous donner une idée, Steve qui nest absolument pas un amateur de manège à sensation, la vraiment bien tolérée. Tellement en fait, quil a demandéà ce que nous la fassions trois fois plutôt quune.

Hogsmeade Restaurants In 2022
This is Hogsmeade’s main restaurant and offers a fantastic range of British food.
It is decorated to look like an old tavern and is really well done.
The portions are large and it is a healthier food. We usually share the dishes around here .
It is also home to the famous pumpkin juice, which is simply wonderful!
Hog’s Head
In this bar, you can buy classic buttery beer, pumpkin juice and other drinks for adults like beers and etc.
Neeps
These stalls in Hogsmeade offer bottled drinks and snacks. There was a wide variety of fresh fruits, for which I was very grateful after all that buttery beer!
butterbeer
There are several Butterbeer stalls in Hogsmeade where you can buy a frozen Butterbeer or a Frozen Butterbeer, which is like a Butterbeer Slushie.
Despite the name “beer”, it is not an alcoholic beverage.
It’s almost an absurdly sweet milkshake. I don’t particularly like it much!
Harry Potter And The Disneyland Purchase
One source claimed that one of the reasons why Harry never made his way to Disney is because of the underwhelming offer J.K. Rowling received from Disney for a Harry Potter-themed attraction in Disneyland. According to Jim Hill Medias Universal Joint podcast, Disney would put Harry Potter attractions around Disneyland as big as the leagues of Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, but would simply be a mini-land featured inside Fantasyland.
Had Disney gotten its way, there would be a Leaky Cauldron that served food and probably their version of butterbeer, a petting zoo inspired by a Care of Magical Creatures class, and an attraction that was similar to the Buzz Lightyear attraction, but with wands instead of guns. This was an extremely small attraction for the real potential the Harry Potter franchise could have, so it was no surprise that J.K. Rowling turned it down and accepted Universals offer which was much more extensive and immersive.
Prior to this, Disneyland not only dominated the competition for theme parks from the 80s until the early 00s, but it made so much that it earned twice the profits of its closest competition. But in 2010, when Universal won the rights to opening a Harry Potter land called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Suddenly, Disney had a serious competitor threatening its position in terms of profit. So, in an attempt to beat the Harry Potter attraction, it turned to other franchises it thought could compete with Harry Potter.

Potter Heads To Universal
From here, you likely know the story. Universal, arguably desperate to reinvigorate their Florida parks, agreed to all of Rowlings demands and announced their deal with the author in 2007.
Three years later, the first Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened to rave reviews. Both critics and fans praised the lands technologically advanced E-Ticket attraction Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, as well as its entirely book/screen-accurate version of Hogwarts Castle and the village of Hogsmeade, filled with land-specific products and nothing from the outside world. None of which would have been present in the Disney version.
What Is The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the overarching name for the themed areas, attractions, shops, restaurants, and entertainment based on the Harry Potter books and movies. Hogsmeade opened in 2010 at Islands of Adventure and features the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, nearby Hogsmeade Village, and the events of the Goblet of Fire. Diagon Alley opened shortly after in 2014 and includes the London-based aspects of the world such as the Knight Bus, 12 Grimmauld Place, Kings Cross station, and the aforementioned Diagon Alley.

What If Disney Owned Harry Potter
Shows like on Disney+ have certainly got us thinking whether the multiverse exists, in which every other reality is radically different to our own. And should it exist, then weve no doubt whatsoever that theres a dimension where Disney owns Harry Potter and not Universal!
Its not a far cry to imagine such a scenario after all, Harry Potter has all the right ingredients for one of Disneys IPs, even if the acquisition of Fox has muddied any lines of distinction. And could we ever really have imagined Disney owning Star Wars?!
But what if Disney owned Harry Potter? What would the movies have been like? Would the Wizarding World feel any different in Disneys theme parks than it does at Universal Studios? Would it feel more magical or more muggle? Grab your broomsticks and join us as we see what things might be like in another reality..!
I Would Never Drive To Universal Because The Parking Area Is Cramped And Crowded
I would never suggest driving your own car to Universal Orlando, especially if you’re trying to get to the park for opening. The main entrance is compact and often severely backed up.
Since Universal provides its resort guests with free transportation options, I was able to avoid this.
My preferred method of transportation is the walking paths connecting the hotels to the parks. The 15- to 20-minute walk ends at an entrance that’s reserved for resort guests, allowing for expedited security and smaller crowds.

At Universal I Stayed At The Cabana Bay Beach Resort
Thanks to the ever-growing list of budget-friendly hotel options at Universal Orlando Resort, there’s little reason to stay off the property.
For this trip, I choose the Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which cost $119 for my one-night stay.
I still got the amenities and perks of the higher-tier resorts like on-site dining, bars, entertainment, and two pool areas but at a fraction of the cost.
For tourists trying to keep an even tighter budget though, rooms at Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts often cost less than $100 a night.
Visit During Special Events
While always magical, a few times during the year the Wizard World becomes even more magical. First, you have the Celebration of Harry Potter, which include celebrity guests, panel discussions, and more.
Around the holiday season, you will also see Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as a part of the Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort. This includes not only beautiful decorations, but also special food options and performances.

Many Of The New Attractions And Experiences At The Disney Parks Were Delayed Amid The Coronavirus Pandemic
Disney World’s long-awaited new additions have been riddled with delays over the course of the past year.
Highly anticipated attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot and Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Magic Kingdom are still under construction.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot, an import from Disneyland Paris, was also delayed. But it finally received an opening date of October 1, 2021, to coincide with Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration.
Because of the pandemic delays, I didn’t have the chance to experience many new attractions at the parks.
