Diagon Alley At The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter
The second land added to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is Diagon Alley . If you are entering from the front of the park walk straight until you hit the mummy attraction and make a right, then continue until you see the Knight Bus. The area outside of Diagon Alley is themed to fill like London, and you will need to make your way through the brick wall until it opens up as Diagon Alley.
Be prepared especially if you are a die hard Harry Potter fan as the attention to detail is unmatched in Diagon Alley. You will be in the middle of shops and cooked buildings, as well a fire breathing dragon nestled over Gringotts Bank!
Look Up Down And All Around
There is always something happening somewhere. When we first boarded the Hogwarts Express train, we expected a simple train ride where we could close our eyes and rest our feet, but this was so wrong. Yes, we got to sit down, but we still had an interactive experience! As the train passed through the Forbidden Forest, creatures that lived there ran alongside the train while witches and wizards walked the hallway outside our cabin door. Even if you head into the washrooms, you may hear a certain Moaning Myrtle Its these little details that make the whole trip fun.
At first, we didnt bother going into the shops since we werent planning to buy anything and didnt want to waste time browsing. Mistake. The shops are immersive and one of the best parts of the experience for any fan, so go inside and check out every one of them and look into the shop windows. Just leave your wallet zipped tight in your pocket.
Pro Travel Tip: if you have little Harry Potter fans in tow, paying a visit to Ollivanders can be extra worth it. They may get picked to be a part of Harrys wand selection process in the first movie. Noteyou may have a better chance of getting selected if you are dressed for the role!

At The Wizarding World The Magic Is In The Details
While Disney is well-known for the immersive design in their parks, Universal Studios’ Wizarding World might have them beat: Once you enter, you genuinely feel like you’ve stepped into Harry Potter’s world. This even continues when when you go to the bathroom, as Moaning Myrtle’s voice floats around you. If you visit 12 Grimmauld Place, a location featured heavily in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and are patient enough, you can see the house elf Kreacher make an appearance in the upstairs window.
For more interactive details, have a wand handy: according to Orlando Informer, there are many spells that, with your wand, you can activate in shop windows throughout the parks. Or consider visiting the Knight Bus and have a nice talk with the driver, Stan Shunpike. Going a step further, Japan’s Wizarding World also includes Hogwart’s Black Lake complete with live owls in the park.

Tourist Attraction Discount Passes
There are currently four tourist passes in Los Angeles that offer discounts on general admission at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The first and most popular option is the Go Los Angeles Card, which offers admission to the theme park with every 3, 5 and 7-day all-inclusive pass.
This pass also includes admission to dozens of additional attractions while it is valid, including the Warner Bros. Studio tour which features a Harry Potter tour.
- 3-Day Pass: $258/Adults | $222/Children
- $86/day for Adults | $74/day for Children
At $57 per day with the 7-day pass, youd literally be paying less than half the price of general admission tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood.
The Starline Attraction Pass is another all-inclusive pass that offers admission to this theme park at a discounted rate.
Much like their competitors, you have to purchase at least a 3-day pass for access to this activity.
Unfortunately, while the Go Los Angeles Card includes both Universal Studios Hollywood and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, you must choose one or the other with this tourist pass.
If youre looking for a discount service that focuses primarily on theme parks, the Los Angeles CityPASS is an excellent option.
This tourist pass includes attractions like Disneyland, SeaWorld and more.
Use The Universal Studios App
Did you know that Universal Studios has an app? Well if you didnt, now you do! The Universal app is free and so helpful for a lot of things and can store your tickets, payment method, and show wait times for attractions. This is a great tool to help you plan your day as it also shows you when certain shows like the Frog Choir and Tales of Beedle the Bard are being shown.

New Chocolate Frog Wizard Card Coming To The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter This Summer
Chocolate Frogs are easily a favorite sweet for guests of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and for good reason. In addition to a delicious treat, each box also includes a special Chocolate Frog wizard card celebrating a famous witch or wizard, and heres the great news a new card is being released!
Coming this summer, Jocunda Sykes will be getting her very own Chocolate Frog wizard card. Sykes happens to be the first witch to ever fly over the Atlantic by broom. Her card will be released on July 2.
For a limited time, each Chocolate Frog box will have a gold sticker that contains the new Jocunda Sykes wizard card. Soon after, the boxes with the new cards will be mixed in with the boxes featuring other celebrated witches and wizards.
Earlier this year, Bertie Bott joined the card collection you may remember him from his infamous wizarding candy, Bertie Botts Every-Flavor Beans.

Escape From Gringotts : 30
The Escape from Gringotts seems to be the biggest concern for plus size people at Universal Studios Orlando. The ride has a lap bar, not a pullover bar. It is super snug, but there’s a reason: At one point, you’re tipped over, facing down like you’re going to fall out . That’s why the bar is a lap bar. You’re not completely upside down, but you are definitely close to downward facing dog.
The line is really long and again, if you don’t think you can fit in the ride, I suggest at least waiting in line because going through Gringotts is awesome. You get to see the goblins and offices and scenes that you otherwise wouldn’t get to see.
I really liked this ride. Although the bar was tight, the ride car was slightly roomier. My son and daughter fit in the car with me, no problem.
I didn’t really have any trouble with this one, and I wear a size 20 or 2X. Universal Studios has sample seats where you can see if you fit, but they’re far along the line and you have to try them in front of everybody in line. You could pretend that someone is taking your picture while you try out the seats. That would be a sneaky way of seeing if you fit or if you’re comfortable. Then, you can stay in line until you get up to the ride and duck out the emergency exit.

As for the original Harry Potter films, Warner Bros. recently sold the television rights to NBC Universal on a seven-year contract worth $ 250 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. How Do I Go About Using Early Park Admission On My Check
The answer to this question depends on whether you are staying at a Universal property or at one of the independent partner hotels.
If you are at the former and want to use Early Park Admission on your check-in day, we recommend arriving at your resort one to two hours before early entry officially starts. Although your room will most likely not be available just yet, guests may still check in to receive a room key for each member of his party, to serve as proof of your hotel stay . Leave your cell number with the front desk so that they can text you when your room is ready, and drop your bags at luggage services. Universal Studios Characters And Locations
NEW!!! Universal Orlando announced a new character experience at Universal Studios. DreamWorks Destination will allow guests to strike a pose with their favorite DreamWorks characters.
This will be located in the KidZone section of the park. Guests can meet characters from Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Trolls, and more under a nighttime sky inspired by the DreamWorks opening sequence.
An exact opening date has not been announced but expect it soon.

How Do I Get To Kansai Airport From Universal Studios Japan
If you are flying out of Kansai Airport that evening you will catch the train from the Universal City Station to Nishikujo Station then change to the JR Kansai Airport Rapid that runs about every 15 minutes through to Kansai Airport. All up the trip will take around 70 minutes and the cost will be Y1190. If you are continuing on via the shinkansen you can take a direct train to shin Osaka or you might also change at Nishikujo .

Universal Studios Plans To Expand The Wizarding World In Their New Epic Universe Park
It was first reported by Orlando Sentinel, last October, that Universal Studios planned to open a new theme park the first addition to Orlando in 20 years. Named Epic Universe, it was initially planned to open in 2023. There were few details available when it was first announced, but Universal confirmed this past January that Super Nintendo World would be a part of this new park.
Orlando Weekly analyzed the official Epic Universe concept art, and it seems there will likely be four different areas of the park, suspected to be Super Nintendo World, a section devoted to How to Train Your Dragon, one for Universal Classic Monsters, and the fourth to be centered around Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new film series set in the Harry Potter universe. According to theories, the area will be themed around Paris, France, in the 1920s, a setting featured in the second film of the series.
Of course, the spread of COVID-19 put a real damper on all these plans, and now it’s unclear what Universal hopes to do with their Epic Universe. The construction is on hold indefinitely, and they will probably have to cut things, and shift their plans around. But given how successful the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been for them, Universal is likely to make the upcoming Fantastic Beasts expansion a high priority.
