This may seem like a stupid fact, but it could also point to the legitimacy of Grindelwald’s claim about Credence’s true origin. The name “Aurelius Dumbledore” fits in quite nicely with Albus, Aberforth and Ariana. Apparently Percival and Kendra had a real thing for names that start with the letter “A”!
Of course, Grindelwald wouldn’t be a master of manipulation and great public speaker if he wasn’t capable of crafting a convincing story. Plus, if the Fantastic Beasts 2 team revealed his name was “Barney Dumbledore” or something like that, the fact that it didn’t jive with the Dumbledore family naming trend wouldn’t go unnoticed.

Snape had to kill Dumbledore. Firstly, because it was an act of mercy for Dumbledore, as he was already dying, first from the curse he received when he put on the Gaunt ring, and second when he drank the potion from the cave with the locket horcrux. Thats what Dumbledore means when he says Severus.

Lying To Harry About His Past
Given Dumbledores relationship to Harry as a mentor and the fact that Harry trusted him so much, the fact that he lied and manipulated Harry so much is troubling.

So no, Umbridge is no where near a Hufflepuff. Umbridge doesnt value loyalty in fact her loyalty to Fudge is merely in service to her own ambition, and her false hope that he could come to love her as a result. She also was decidedly UNloyal to her own actual family. She is not the least bit fair.

Dumbledore’s youngest sister Ariana experienced trauma in life similar to that of Credence, which, according to Pottermore, made it difficult for her to control her magical abilities. The term “Obscurial” didn’t exist in the Harry Potter universe prior to Fantastic Beasts, however, so the title is still an unofficial part of her backstory. Despite that, a lot of Ariana’s struggles with magic appear to mimic that of Credence, which could mean they share a connection.
For example, is becoming an Obscurial only brought on by trauma or are some wizarding families more pre-disposed to it than others? Credence having a similar condition to Ariana could confirm his link to the Dumbledore bloodline or even a deeper connection to Ariana. Perhaps she conceived a child before her untimely death? It’s possible, although it would make the line where Grindelwald referred to Dumbledore as Credence’s brother very confusing.

Ariana may only get a mention in the latest movie, but she’s actually pretty key to understanding Dumbledore and Grindelwald.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows we learn the entire backstory mainly from Aberforth, the barman at the Hog’s Head Pub…who we learn is Albus’ brother.
In the book, he reveals that Ariana was attacked by three muggle boys when she was young.
At just six years old she was “set upon” by the boys. “They’d seen her doing magic, spying through the back garden hedge she was a kid, she couldn’t control it, no witch or wizard can at that age. What they say scared them, I expect,” he says.
“They forced their way through the hedge, and when she couldn’t show them the trick, they got a bit carried away trying to stop the little freak doing it.”
Aberforth says Ariana was scarred by the whole ordeal and wouldn’t use her magic after that.
Aberforth described her as mostly âsweet, and scared, and harmlessâ but the magic didn’t go away, so it turned inward and it drove her mad. The magic exploded out when she was angry or upset, similarly to Credence.
This wasn’t the worst of her torment. Her father, Percival, then attacked the boys for what they’d done and ended up locked up in Azkaban.

Also, when Grimmson is talking to Grindelwald below the bridge, he says he killed the woman, as if that was the order. Why? Because probably the half-elf woman knew the truth about Credence and she could be a dangerous loose end.
2. What is part of Credence is Arianas Obscurus. After Arianas death, her Obscurus went to live in Credences body. That would explain why Grindelwald says Your brother he is talking to the Obscurus, not to Credence. Why is he changing its name and referring to it with another name instead of Ariana? We dont know.

The House system at Hogwarts encourages a deep divide between the students, which results in heavy bullying. The Slytherin and Gryffindor Houses have a long-standing rivalry, but other Houses arent much better. When the Marauders constantly bully Severus Snape, Albus does nothing to stop their behavior. Things get to the point where Sirius Black practically tries to kill Severus, using his own friends lycanthropy. Severus does his own fair share of cursing, and his resentment persists even after their Hogwarts years, fueling his decision to join the Death Eaters.

Later, the same story repeats itself. Harry Potter becomes the target of bullying and opprobrium, first when he is deemed to be the Heir of Slytherin, then when he is entered against his will into the Triwizard Tournament.
