We felt a tad emotional when Fleur made her way down the aisle to meet Bill. Their wedding was a lovely oasis in the mess that had been Voldemorts return, and to see two people so happy and so in love was a welcome relief. We thought it was very fitting that Fleurs beauty seemed to enhance everyone elses in that moment like the way their wedding was a flash of light in the dark.
A great collective sigh issued from the assembled witches and wizards as Monsieur Delacour and Fleur came walking up the aisle, Fleur gliding, Monsieur Delacour bouncing and beaming. Fleur was wearing a very simple white dress and seemed to be emitting a strong, silvery glow. While her radiance usually dimmed everyone else by comparison, today it beautified every- body it fell upon. Their Love Story Drives A Lot Of The Series
Believe it or not, a huge part of the series revolves around the relationship between Ron and Hermione. Throughout the seven book series , we see that Hermione and Ron have a special relationship that’s just below the surface of what Harry can see. So the readers have to read in between the lines a but because we’re seeing things from Harry’s perspective.
For the last four books, the subtext between the pair becomes main text, and becomes a story that you can’t help but get invested in .
If you really think about it, the incident with the troll that solidifies the Golden Trio’s friendship kicks off because Hermione heard Ron calling her a nightmare and ran off crying. Sure, this wasn’t stellar behavior on Ron’s part, but he makes up for it going forward. The movies tended to play up Ron’s meanness towards Hermione, but the books strike a pretty good balance between good friend and person who was just annoyed.

And now the wizard series’ creator has admitted she may have got it wrong by matching Hermione with Ron.
In an interview with quarterly lifestyle magazine Wonderland, whose forthcoming edition is guest-edited by Hermione actress Emma Watson, author JK Rowling said Ron may not have been the most suitable beau.
She told the magazine: “I wrote the Hermione-Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfilment. That’s how it was conceived, really.
“For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.
“I know, I’m sorry, I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I’m absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility.
“Am I breaking people’s hearts by saying this? I hope not.”
The author said the duo would have likely needed relationship counselling, while Watson herself also doubted the couple’s potential longevity.
“I think there are fans out there who know that too and who wonder whether Ron would have really been able to make her happy,” Watson told the Sunday Times.
For: Harry And Hermione Always Had Far Fewer Arguments Than Hermione And Ron
Cast your mind back to their first-ever journey on the Hogwarts Express. The first meeting between Hermione and Ron was telling, with Hermione challenging Ron first to perform magic and then informing him that he had dirt on his nose. Rowling constantly gives her thoughts and reveals new information about the series to this day and one of the most shocking comments had to do with Hermione and Ron.
In 2014, Emma Watson interviewed Rowling for Wonderland Magazine and the question was brought up. The only people who don’t like Ron/Hermione are either movie-onlies or self-inserters. I have yet to see any inbetween.
I just found it to be a lot like that really overused dynamic where they fight all the time and apparently that means they’re into each other? Since when has fighting ever been a healthy and normal basis for a relationship? Not denying they have genuinely good moments together, I just didn’t really like the “oh you fight all the time so that means you have to get together” dynamic that’s everywhere.
Love and hate are very similar emotions, two sides of the same coin.

They would both be at odds with each other for months until Ron got poisoned. After this, they were somehow friends again and all was forgotten. But the fact of the matter is that Ron never apologized for blaming her for something he had no business being upset about.

No, we dont mean she wanted to be his friend first before dating, we mean she literally wanted to be his friend. When you read or watch Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, youll notice that Ron and Harry were never Hermiones friends until the incident with the troll.
Before that, Hermione would interject herself between these two uninvited. She wanted to be their friend, but she was so insufferably a know-it-all that Ron and Harry didnt like her much. In actuality, Hermiones perceived narcissism wasnt who she really was. And she did want desperately to be friends with Ron and Harry.
